Our data & sources

From the sources below we currently publish 2,316 graded restaurants (63% A) across 8 Central Florida counties, refreshed on a regular cycle.

A short, linkable summary of exactly what we use and where it comes from:

  • Inspection records & licensing — Florida DBPR, Division of Hotels & Restaurants, public-records extracts (District 4 / Central Florida). The source of every health score, violation, and inspection date.
  • Ratings, location, hours, categories — Google Maps / Places listings, matched to each licensed establishment.
  • Update cadence — DBPR data is pulled and re-scored on a regular cycle; the “last updated” date appears on each restaurant page.
  • What we don’t do — we don’t accept payment from restaurants to change scores or placement, and the grade is computed purely from the formula on our methodology page.
