Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
This is what agreement looks like: high ratings, clean inspection. Reviews mentioning the staff average 3.3 stars, so it divides opinion rather than settling it.
More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 10 of 13. What nobody raises here is whether food comes out hot — it goes unmentioned across all 13 reviews. 11 of 13 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 2 are two or lower.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (98/100), 2 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. That result dates from April 7, 2026. On health score it sits safer than 80% of the Seminole County restaurants we grade. What the inspector actually wrote up: in-use food dispensing utensils properly stored and floors, walls, ceilings clean & maintained.
Nothing here pulls in opposite directions — an unusually clean read. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Barnes & Noble is always a great experience, and this location has a welcoming atmosphere that keeps people coming back. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the store always has a positive energy with plenty of customers browsing, studying, or enjoying their time there. One of the best parts is having Starbucks inside, which makes it the perfect spot to grab a coffee while looking through books, getting some work done, or simply relaxing. The combination of a bookstore and coffee shop creates a comfortable environment that feels inviting and easy to spend time in. Overall, this Barnes & Noble location provides a great experience with a friendly environment, convenient setup, and a nice place to unwind.

Love the bookstore but Sam from the Starbucks staff with the blue hair is incredibly rude to men only ruined my visit June 13th 2026 11:00am

Great book store and they close 1 hour after the rest of the mall so you can go there once everything else closes!

All the staff are super helpful and friendly, plus ... BOOKS! My only complaint is that I wish they had fantasy romance sectioned out so that I don't have to sort through two different sections hoping to luck into a new romantasy to try!
-
Great place to take your little kids . I just don't like some of the books materials on the kids sections that are not related to the topics based on that age.

Kaje at Starbucks was extremely unfriendly and rude. When I walked up, I politely asked how they were doing, and instead of any greeting, they replied, ‘What can I get you?’ After I ordered, I said, ‘Thank you, have a nice day,’ and they did not respond at all. The interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming.

I enjoyed my visit. My wheelchair was able to get to most of the store. A great storytime area. Cafe had a side ramp. I highly recommend this store.

Always go here for a coffee, even if it is not a Real Starbucks, it is ok.

Great place to come and get a coffee and a donut or sweet bread. Grab a good book or bring your own book and just chill out a read for a while busy. But quiet large book selection a couple areas to actually sit down in a big oversized chair, and read.Has that book library smell? If, you know what i'm talking about you, know i'm, talking about great?Place ten out of ten. We'll do again

I’m giving this store a 5 star because most of the people that work here are phenomenal, kind and helpful. The store is always clean and organized and they have a great selection. However I literally went out of my way to create a google account just so I could tell anyone lgbtq to stay away from the checkout girl named Bianca. We’ve had her ring us up multiple times over the last year and every time she’s passive aggressive and tells us to “have a blessed day” which okay, fine. But today was particularly awful. There was no one ahead of us in line and she just ignored us intentionally until I asked politely can we checkout now? She’s like yea sure and as usual treats us like we’re contaminated or like she’s going to catch the queer if she talks to us in any kind manner. It’s 2026, do better. And if working with gay, trans or queer people bothers you that much don’t work at a book store where you’re going to come into contact with all types of people from different walks of life. She also is always wearing a cross like we get it Jesus and god are savior but like I’m sure Jesus wouldn’t have treated me this way if I was buying a book since he himself was persecuted for being different. I don’t generally advocate for someone to be fired but I was to do so I’m rooting its her.
