What diners say — our read

Worth separating two things on this listing: how the food is received, and how the kitchen inspects. Reviews that raise front-of-house average just 2.6 stars — this is where the complaints concentrate.

7 of 18 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 10 are two or lower. No one in this corpus comments on how much food arrives at all. Dates on these reviews range from Aug 2025 to Jun 2026. The single most common rating left here is 1 star (8 of 18).

The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (99/100) with 1 basic violations. The visit behind that grade was March 2, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 87% of the restaurants we score.

The weak part of this listing is the experience, not the sanitation — those are different failures. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

Taco Bell-MAIN STREET Apopka It’s rare that I eat fast food. Last night was one of those days the household didn’t feel like eating leftovers. We decided to drive to Taco Bell to get food tonight. First off the lady taking the order was rushing us off. Being rude and impatient. Secondly, when we pulled up, she was itching her her forearm so hard, you can literally see the scabs and skin bouncing off of her 🤮. It looked like she had red rashes, maybe eczema. Idk. It was so nasty that with no gloves on, she took her same hands to hand out food and place lid covers on our drinks. We were so DISGUSTED! 🤢. My husband immediately told us to trashed everything. Safe to say, waste of money! 😫. Imagine when you order uber/doordash. You don’t get to see those things live and in person and imagine how much times it happens.

I asked for no ice in my drink. She said we can’t do that because they already made the order drove up to the window and then watched her make my drink and put ice in it. Very rude. Didn’t catch your name, but I went to Taco Bell. On 3/23/26 at 9:40pm I asked her why she told me she already made a drink and she said she doesn’t care

Me and my friend came in today to get some food. We were craving Taco Bell 🛎️ and we didn’t want to spend too much on food. We bought a bunch of stuff, but I got blown away The Grilled Cheese Burrito is AMAZING! The one in the silver wrap, was so good 😊 OMG. I recommend that one if you don’t know what you want to get when you come here. Try that one it’s fabulous! The total for 7 food items and one drink was under $30, can’t beat the price and we got full so full that at least me, ate again 10 hours later. Great customer service and friendly staff, thank you.

I specifically go here because the food is great and the service is awesome. This location is very consistent and you always get the same service. We go out of our way to go to this location versus the other one down the street Great job great staff and great food

    la verdad tengo mejores opciones

My card wasn’t given back to me at the drive-thru, and minutes later someone at this Taco Bell used it and only the staff had my card. I literally came back and they had it in the back. I called customer service and when they called me back, they said the cameras showed nothing unusual. I can’t argue with their footage, but the charge came from this store One minute after I left, and the staff are the only ones who had my card. I work hard for my money. This is not right. On top of that, they rounded up my total for a “donation” without asking. I had to cancel my card and the whole thing just felt wrong. Customers deserve better accountability and basic security
