What diners say — our read

Worth separating two things on this listing: how the food is received, and how the kitchen inspects. Front-of-house is the sore point: those reviews average 1.9. Wait times follows at 42% of reviews, where ratings average 2.2.

Of the 12 rated reviews, 4 sit at four stars or better and 6 at two or below. Dates on these reviews range from Nov 2025 to May 2026. The single most common rating left here is 1 star (5 of 12). Behind those, value for money is raised in 25% of reviews (1.0 average).

On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (97/100), with 3 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. The visit behind that grade was March 3, 2026. On health score it sits safer than 72% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. For specifics, the last inspection cited plumbing installed & maintained and floors, walls, ceilings clean & maintained.

Worth separating: the complaints above cluster on price, not on the kitchen, which inspected well. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

I visited this Wendy’s a couple of weeks ago and used my debit card there. Within a day or two afterward, I noticed unauthorized charges on my card from Jacksonville that I did not make. This was one of the only places I had physically used my debit card in over a week, which raised concern for me. When I brought this issue to management’s attention, I was told that similar complaints had happened before. I was informed that the cameras would be reviewed and that someone would follow up with me, but I have not received any update since then. I would strongly encourage customers to be cautious when using physical debit or credit cards at this location and consider using tap-to-pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or cash instead. Hopefully management takes these concerns seriously and resolves the issue for future customers.

The food was delicious. Surprisingly actually. I love their afternoon meals but breakfast is what ima come back for

the staff is so sweet and accommodating

  • April 18, 2026

Showed up thus evening and waited 5 minutes to order inside and Noone acknowledged me. Poor service and only 2 cars in drive thru

  • April 10, 2026

The customer service is terrible in the drive thru department. When ordering the food, I was greeted with "go ahead", then the first window guy didn't even confirm what I ordered (only the price), and the 2nd window woman just gave me the food and closed the window after (zero eye contact). Really made it clear I was just an inconvenience to them.

It’s frustrating to open the food you bought and find that the order is incomplete. You can’t just trust it—you always have to check.

They were fast an Krystal was super nice an helpful also seemed joyful an motivated her crew 😁

The day time is usually great, but the night time. Like late night is terrible, nasty attitudes. Incorrect orders. The way they rush you to order and get annoyed if you have modified items in your meal. Food isn’t hot or fresh. You get a manager and he’s even nastier and doesn’t really seem to care or fix much. I wish they would redo this location and fix it like the other fast food restaurants in Apopka but I hope they change their team soon. I really enjoyed eating Wendy’s but this location killed it for me. I rather go to a real restaurant and pay double for a burger than to ever go back into a Wendy’s. Not worth the headache.

  • November 21, 2025

Left the drive thru line as it was taking too long went inside instead and had great service

  • November 18, 2025

Menu prices do not match what is being charged. Combo listed at $12.99. They charged $13.49 In addition, several up charges added to receipt. Politely indicated to the cashier that there was an error, and immediately received attitude. Comment made: "I just started here and what do you want me to do about it". Absolutely unprofessional response! Will never come back to this Wendy's again. Also contacted corporate office regarding this location.
