Great for gluten free Disney goers!! They had an AMAZING gluten free fried chicken! Special shout out to the meatloaf as well (also gluten free) the pot roast is gf and they can make the pot pie gf as well just be sure to communicate with your server. Our server, Claudia, was a super special star who really made our trip here sparkle ✨️they also made me an off menu gf smores ❤️ in my opinion it's a must try for the gluten free Disney experience!

Don't believe the influencer hype, it will end in heartbreak. Birthday reservation. Our food given to the wrong table with no apologies. Server didn't notice for 15 minutes and then proceeded to ignore us for the remainder of our service. No singing happy birthday, just here's your food. Could have gone to a diner in Eustis and had a better time. Husband complained to the manager, he could care less, probably the worst dining experience we've had at any Disney resort or park. The server after noticing we were not happy thek decided to quickly hover waiting for the credit card, as if we were suspected of not paying!??? We are pass holders and resort guests!! Just gross behavior, thanks for making a grown woman cry on her birthday. Disney magic is dead. I'll be filing a complaint through the corporate website, but stay away from this place, Publix chicken is better. Also my kid thought her food was gross, and she loves the salmon mash and green beans at Port Orleans, the food here is just Gross.

I meant to review this place when we were there this summer. The theming and the service were amazing, The food was acceptable. Waiter Caleb was awesome.

It's not what it was... but you won't miss that and Disney is counting on it. What it was: If you wore a hat inside, put elbows on the table, ate less than you were served, especially veggies, tattled on other guests or really any other bad thing you did that the age appropriate staff envisioned (or remembered), you'd be punished. You could be made to stand in the corner, be mocked or shamed by other diners, sweep the floor, and other time appropriate punishments... I mean no hitting, but you know. It was a fun version of the sometimes tragic X and earlier generations endured. All of us can take a joke. It was fun. I don't know what happened during covid that changed this. I mean yeah, Disney tossed the magic in general and continues to do so to this day, but this wasn't chalked up to magic. This was theater; these were actors. Triggering the weak by saying no to phones (games / toys) at the tables or asking them to do as they're told wasn't going well for up and coming generations are common theories, I think more so the mass staff rotation ruined the theme of this restaurant. Suddenly Auntie Bessie was too young to have any experience with the theme, and too many Auntie Bessie's were clearly not even aspiring actors. Sure it used to be that cast members wanted to be a part of the magic, and there are still some, but it's not mandatory to like your job or be nice to customers anymore. Overall the food was pretty good. I got a sample dish. I can't remember the name of it but it was fried Chicken, meatloaf, and pot roast. The pot roast and the fried chicken were phenomenal. The meatloaf was so so. It's a very home style Mama's kitchen feel. Although the younger generation doesn't really get it. And while the staff was very friendly, their whole Mama rules thing was a little out of hand at times. They would literally stop the whole room even though you were sitting at different tables because one person was doing something that was against the rules. It was supposed to be like part of the atmosphere but it honestly just became annoying. And while I enjoyed the TV playing the classics, the kids didn't understand. This is a good one-time say you did it event but I wouldn't go back.

Kris was a wonderful waitress, she totally gave us the 50s vibe , great experience Loved everything about of it.

Justin, our server was absolutely hilarious. He was attentive and friendly but added so much energy, laughter and joy to our experience. Our food was delicious. We had the chicken, mashed potatoes and corn, as well as the salmon, mashed potatoes and green beans. My family also enjoyed the onion rings. Great restaurant and we’ll definitely be back.

So good! Food: We ordered the friend chicken which I highly recommend, I grew up in the South and dare I say - it's better than my mom's. Atmosphere: Super fun! Disney doesn't skip a beat on the 50's theme. Service: Wonderful! Our waitress was very helpful and patient.

Legendary!

First of all, this is a classic Hollywood Studios restaurant. In my opinion, it is a must-do. It is themed and immersive. The food is subpar, featuring comfort food that was popular in the fifties, yet timeless enough to appeal to a modern crowd. (We're talking fried chicken, meatloaf, pot roast, etc.) I got the sampler and it was not bad but not amazing. The drink menu is awesome - I think the cocktail selection is one of the best out of the WDW theme parks. I tried the marshmallow old fashioned and was not disappointed. Same goes for the dessert menu - the peanut butter cake is awesome. Shoutout to Ryan who was super kind and made us feel like "family".

The one thing that really stood out was the impeccable service from Rafa. He was so quick, so welcoming, hilarious, and made our experience incredible. That guy knows his stuff. Wonderful personality. The food was delicious, everything had great flavor. Felt like a home cooked meal. An all around great experience!

The aesthetic and theme of the restaurant is fairly interesting although I do think a lot of the charm is lost on younger generations as it continues to age. The dishes are all meant to resemble home style cooking, but as a result they were all fairly bland. Certainly don't come here expecting a special culinary experience. The service was fine as well and do keep in mind you're expected to set your own table as part of the home style experience. It may be neat to experience once, but I would recommend other restaurants in Hollywood Studios for better food.

Was rough at first, not feeling very immersed, but it got corrected over time. Kim is very good.

Honestly shocked by how good the food was here. Ordered the sampler platter with fried chicken (very good), pot roast (excellent), meatloaf (okay), green beans (good), mashed potatoes (excellent), mac n cheese (okay), broccoli (okay). Chocolate peanut-butter cake was very good!

It was my first time here and I wasn’t sure, as a 50s diner, how accommodating they’d be for a vegan 😅 but it’s a Disney business first, so of course they were! The rigatoni was vegan and delicious. They also have plantbased milk, which I had with my coffee. The apple crisp is also labelled as vegan, but what’s not on the menu is the vegan toffuti ice cream, which they can put on top of the apple crisp and it tastes just like ice cream. Also, props to our hilarious and handsome server, Tom from Elkhorn, Wisconsin (noted here so you can leave a review for him in the Disney app). You’ll be lucky if you get him 🥰

That was a experience like no other. If you misbehave you get a hat (like those sailor hats but paper) saying what you did wrong and it's awesome. They are really fun and stay in character (the more your in character the more they're in character) and are nice if you are. It was really fun and funny to watch, just dont get on their really bad side unless you are ready. The atmosphere and food were phenomenal but the main highlight was the whole experience.

This 50s themed restaurant in Hollywood Studios was such a great experience! The inside decor really takes you back to a 50s TV show. We got the onion rings, chicken pot pie, and a platter with pot roast, meatloaf with mashed potatoes, and fried chicken. The quality and flavor of all this food was was perfection. Made me feel like we had a super hearty all American meal. Our server was just as amazing and made us feel like we got a home cooked meal from mom.

The theme restaurant is really cool. It is annoying that the server told us every time that "you are not supposes to have your elbows on the table". I understand is part of the "experience " but it is annoying. The food was ok, good for one time visit.

Made reservations for 7:10pm. Got called at 7:35pm and they tried to put us at a table by the restroom. When I inquired about another table, the attendant seemed annoyed and radio her manager in front of us stating that we required another table. 25 minutes past reservations and seated by the restrooms? Yes, I required another table. We left and did not eat here.

LOVED Max! it was my first time in Disney and at this restaurant. He was such a pleasure and had such great hospitality! Definitely coming back and asking for him again! Thanks “bestie!”

Get the chicken dinner. Best meal in the park. Great 50's decor. Cousin Julia was fabulous with quick and attentive service. She's ageless.

Great food friendly service, I would not hesitate to revisit.
