What diners say — our read

No strong feelings in these 15 reviews — the ratings sit low and steady. Whether it is worth the money is the sore point: those reviews average 2.4. Portion size follows at 27% of reviews, where ratings average 3.8.

Of the 15 rated reviews, 8 sit at four stars or better and 7 at two or below. Behind those, the staff is raised in 27% of reviews (3.3 average). The single most common rating left here is 2 stars (6 of 15).

The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (95/100) with 1 intermediate and 2 basic violations. The visit behind that grade was February 5, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 61% of the restaurants we score. For specifics, the last inspection cited food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and plumbing installed & maintained.

Worth separating: the complaints above cluster on freshness and temperature, not on the kitchen, which inspected well. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

Was just ok. Clam chowder had no clams. Breading on shrimp was very salty. Spareribs were the best thing on the buffet which is sad since this was a seafood buffet. Kids by the desert area not using tongs and using their hands to touch the cookies of course no parents in sight. One and done.

Buffet with an omlet station. Every character came to our table twice. I would do this with the littles it will save you time durimg the day not having to stand in line for pictures at the parks.

Amazing selection and the service was wonderful! Great seafood!

It was our first visit. I'm frankly shocked it's so well reviewed. Let's put it this way: We had the 40% annual passholder discount (summer VIP special) and I still thought it was overpriced. Sure there's decent shellfish and tasty fried clams and shrimp - but for $60+ per person (that's the regular dinner price) I'd expect better quality. They add a lot of non seafood items to the buffet (eg chicken, pork) and cheaper items such as mashed potatoes and seafood macaroni salads. The clam chowder was tasty but fairly salty - and no real chunks of seafood in it (at least, not in my portion). Plus, the environment is super loud and busy Honorable mention, if you go there, is the dessert "bonbon".

Plenty of options on the buffet. The carved roast beef is tender and perfectly cooked. A great value dining option at Disney!

Great food options for the entire family in buffet style. Staff is very friendly and got to meet some Disney characters.

Been going to Cape May cafe since 1992. Tonight was the worse experience. Food was cold, most dishes stayed empty for a long period of time. Clam chowder lacked clams. Food was tasteless as well. Asked for sugar free dessert but was told they only make gluten free desserts. Found this upsetting since there’s more people with diabetes than have a gluten intolerance. Won’t be going back anytime soon.

Overall a really fun experience with characters and pretty good breakfast food!

Absolutely horrible for Disney Standards and price. We were seated right away for dinner and had to wait 20 minutes in line to get food which was cold when we got back to our table . What asking for seconds for 2 food items we were told to again wait in the buffet line which now extended to the lobby . I could not get what I wanted unless I waited an additional 20 minutes. Buffet had no organizational all. We paid $105 for mediocre food with out any drinks. Never again. Chris the manager was nice but did absolutely nothing for us and we have been coming to Disney for 40 years . Can you please give us our money back Disney for a terrible dining experience !

Well, this is located inside beach club resort, we went there during dinner time (morning time they do have character). The atmosphere it's very beachy! Cool decoration and they do accept walk in. Beverages are included (non alcoholic). I will take one star off because salmon had fish bones (what's dangerous for the kids) and some shrimp weren't clean, bedside that all phenomenal (beside the deserts that could have better options) It's like a sea food place, but they have amazing ribs, pasta, roasted meat, so even if you don't like seafood they still have plenty of options! I'm not vegetarian, but they vegetarian paella was better than the seafood one, so rich, so creamy!

Food is sub par but the experience was great. The characters came around multiple times. The omelet was runny egg. There was no biscuit option. They could do for some savory options that are more filling than mickey waffles. Overall, I would come again. Need a reservation.

One of our favorites at WDW.

We tried this for the first time the past week. We love the concept and idea of it however, our experience was not so great. The server seemed very stressed out and we felt very rushed. And she kind of made us feel uncomfortable. She seemed thrown off when we wanted to order cocktails. she didn’t really know much about the cocktails and it took us quite a while to order them. Once we finally did, we went up to the buffet and the set up isn’t great. It’s a square and there’s no actual entrance to the buffet and other customers are getting aggravated thinking you’re cutting them in line, when you just have to scoot in and serve yourself. So that was already silly. The idea of seafood sounds great. The only thing we found really good was the boiled shrimp. The clams didn’t seem fully cooked or seasoned at all and the meal was truly just lacking flavor. Then our server came back and we were never asked if we wanted another cocktail or anything. But she did make it clear she was stressed out …..and then we wanted to pay with digital gift cards, and apparently that was gonna take her a very long time. And that also seemed to stress her out when all you have to do is scan it. It was just a chaotic dinner that didn’t need to be chaotic. I don’t think we will be going back to this one. There’s just way too many other places that are not so stressful for no reason.

Very disappointed in the food it was cold way to expensive for what you get Disney needs to do better, the wife n I expected so much more you would think for the price they charge they would offer lobster and the crab legs are an extra charge when they should be free

  • May 28, 2026

Not as expected, the price is the same as weekend but more food on weekends.
