Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The kitchen grades better than the reviews do. When how long an order takes comes up here it is usually a criticism, and the ratings attached average 2.4. After that, value for money appears most often — 38% of the corpus, averaging 3.0.
The split is 11 positive to 8 negative across 24 rated reviews, with 5 in the middle. Service shows up in 33% of reviews as well, averaging 3.1. 4 stars is the modal score, given by 6 of the 24 reviewers who rated.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (98/100) with 2 basic violations. That inspection was on June 4, 2026. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 80% of the restaurants we score. Among the items recorded were food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and nonfood-contact surfaces clean.
The weak part of this listing is the experience, not the sanitation — those are different failures. Everything above is computed from the 24 reviews reproduced below.

Okay............... So, it's self service park food. We had a lunch with kids and grandkids and it got the job done. Nothing fancy. But everything was edible. Ask for Ice water to refill your bottle before heading back into the park. It was noisy and crowded. But it was also airconditioned.

This place is horrible we came here and when we got here there are no tables open so one of the waiters kicked a family out who was waiting for there for us to sit and the food is nasty not worth the money at all it’s not seasoned and it sits out all day and was cold

The grilled chicken sandwich was not edible. It was hard as a rock and I couldn’t eat it. The truffle fries had a sauce that was just too much so I couldn’t stomach them. Service was AMAZING!

Our meal wasn’t great. But I’ve had meals here in years past that were very good. My recommendation is to stick to chicken tenders, burgers and fries. This time we got the patty melt and the chicken salad. They didn’t get eaten but maybe half or less. I only rated it a 3 because I’ve been here multiple times and had better. The patty melt is not recommended at all. And the salad- I don’t realize it came fully dressed with salad dressing because it doesn’t mention that on the menu. So while this trip it wasn’t great, I will still try it again in the future just not the salad or patty melt

Food is so low effort my daughter's chicken sandwich was rubber and my hamburger had been sitting under a light for who knows how long. We did a mobile order and it said it was ready but I stood at the front of the line watching all these other people getting help and getting ignored. I finally start loudly asking if anyone was working then some one finally brought our food 🥑 Pretty pricey for some garbage, gotta try harder if you wanna charge these prices. Lounge robot was cool about the only positive thing I can say about the place.

Everything was great except it took us 30 minutes to place our order because of a broken register, and it took 20 more to get our food. I am pretty sure that our situation is not the common experience though.
-
Facilities were very clean. Gave us halal beef on request and we did not have to make a special reservation or anything. Price wasn’t bad either. Would recommend but always ask what’s halal as it varies from beef to chicken daily

The food is very good. There is ample seating, and there is also air conditioning relief.
-
Food is mid. They should consider getting rid of the robot. Let some college kids sing or something. Service was good. Fast.

I'm sorry but this place is gross! I got the truffle burger while the rest of my party just got the cheeseburger. All of them were nasty. Only thing good was the fries. They have like this sort of, artificial grill taste? Maybe like liquid smoke? Either way, avoid. The little animatronic downstairs is neat though.

This is a good Magic Kingdom food option. I recommend doing mobile ordering and pick your food up, instead of waiting in a long line. They give you a pickup time after placing your order. The food prices were reasonable, and the food was good.

This restaurant was a breath of fresh air for us. A large air-conditioned indoor area with a shaded outdoor seating area to enjoy our food near Tomorrowland and the Speedway. We ate a Classic Ranch Salad with Grilled Chicken and the plant-based Patty Melt. They were lovely, really filling and a change from the usual pace of burgers and hotdogs. Our little one had some Mac and Cheese which she enjoyed too. This unique cafe hosts Sonny Eclipse from Yew Nork City too, the piano playing host inside who plays original songs that only Sonny can play! I only gave the atmosphere a 4/5 because it's a little noisy, but that's to be expected from a restaurant next to Tomorrowland.

IMO some of the worst food in Magic Kingdom. I have eaten here many times because after 8pm, only a few places are left open. But I’m done after last night. I have tried the burger, chicken sandwich, tenders, fries, fruit and salad. All horrible. Last night, I got a ranch house salad. $10. When I picked it up, there was no salad dressing. So I went to the condiment bar, there was ranch out of the pump next to the bbq sauce. It was thick and had an old taste. The lettuce was also wilted and old. I went back up the counter and asked the employee if there is any other salad dressing. The boy said “all we have is the delux ranch dressing in the packet”. I said well I didn’t even get a dressing at all with my salad, you don’t have balsamic or a house?” I told him if not, I will just take the delux ranch it should have came with. He went to go check in the back for a while, other customers were mad staring at me. Finally he comes back with an old greasy package of balsamic and says “look what I found”! Salad was already ruined with the old ranch dipping sauce. I can’t believe employees don’t even know how to do their job and the food quality is so low for the cost. Disney is outstanding for entertainment but seriously drops the ball on food. You have to really hunt for real food here: Best places to eat at MK are the egg roll stand and Harbor House where you can actually get Real vegetables. Avoids cosmic rays unless you want low quality fast food.

Excelente servicio rápido y de buen gusto 😉

Very family friendly and they even take cash

Food: love the buffalo sauce chicken strips, the regular chicken strips, but the fries tasted a little strange and the sprite tasted very metalic. Sevice: I don't know how to answer that one so I'm just gonna give it 5 Stars. Ambience: Very space themed and plus I love space themed stuff. So I would do something about the fries at Cosmic Rays Starlight Cafe and also make the beverages taste less metalic at...well everywhere at the park.

For a Disney quick service restaurant, you get a nice value for your money. Chicken strips were satisfactory though you get a generous portion of fries to go along with the combo. The cast members held down the fort & were pleasant and upbeat. Seating was a little tight, easy to bump into other families. Overall great place to eat if on a tight budget at the parks.

Their chicken strips with ranch smells so good, a lady walked by while we were still in line and I can smell the tasty ranch flavor! Lines are very long and indoor seating is extremely limited. Service is pretty slow so wait time is about 15 minutes at least. Ambiance is like a food court.

We stoped by Cosmic Ray’s Cafe for a little break and food stop. We had burgers and chicken strips. The food was so so, nothing too exiting. On the nice side the prices were good and not outrageous. Pretty crowded and a bit loud. I’d say it’s OK for inexpensive stop to grab some lunch.

Mobile pickup took 10 minutes after we were notified the food was ready. Food was cold by that time. Weird smell in the building.

A bit cosmic, mostly convenient. As a quick mobile option Cosmic Ray’s is highly accessible in Tomorrowland with a straightforward, kid friendly menu. The setting itself is nice and walking in seems to still be possible as it’s meant to be a fast dining option in the park. We mobile ordered about 40 minutes out which is very helpful as you can plan things out in advance and pickup was very quick, you just showed and click you’re nearby on the app and they have it out in about 5 min or less. There’s also a water refill station in here if you need to get hydrated although it is veeeerrrryyyyy slow to fill your bottle up. We ordered the truffle-french onion burger with fries and their hand dipped fried chicken sandwich with a mandarin. The burger was, well, something. It wasn’t bad but it certainly wasn’t good, but what can you expect at Disney? It was very soggy and messily put together, not very appetizing at all to look at. The fries were much better than the burger though! As for the chicken sandwich it was much the same. The chicken looked bland but tasted average, nothing really to write home about. The mandarin was quite literally a mandarin so nothing to say about that. Cosmic Ray’s is what it’s meant to be: quick, entertaining (singing alien playing piano), and affordable. As a cheaper, lightning quick option for those who plan ahead or as a kid friendly pitstop amongst the chaos, this a good option for anyone in the area to stop by for some fuel.
