What diners say — our read

There is no middle ground in these 27 reviews. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 4.3 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. After that, plate size appears most often — 22% of the corpus, averaging 3.8.

Behind those, whether it is worth the money is raised in 19% of reviews (2.2 average). 19 of 27 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 6 are two or lower. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 17 of 27.

Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (100/100), nothing cited at the most recent DBPR visit. That result dates from May 6, 2026. The trend across inspections is improvement. That puts it ahead of 100% of graded kitchens in Orange County. The inspector left without citing anything — worth noting, since most visits find something.

Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

    Excellent food and Service!

  • June 23, 2026

The food was amazing and our server was so accommodating! My sister wasn't a big fan of much of the food because of texture issues and he brought her some fries and talked to the chef to see about getting her something she could eat. Kudos to David!

Reservation for 7 made for 7:55 placed an hour out. Passed by asking if we could come in early about 7:05 and they said we could check in at 7:35 and possibly move up which we do. 7:55 and they are behind but waiting for parties of 8 that are not all present but refuse to seat us sitting there for past 30 minutes. Full hour wasted on their guidance. We cancelled and are now in a bind to find food for 3 kids and make the most of our remaining ticket value.

Definitely one of our favorite sit down service restaurants. AYCE Thanksgiving dinner... Bring your appetite.

We tried liberty tree tavern for the first time after many visits to Magic Kingdom, and it was by far my favorite restaurant we ate at the whole week!! The all you can eat, family style, is an amazing switch up from the regular WDW restaurant styles. The food was amazing, 10/10. My favorites were the ham with the delicious apple glaze, the housemade cranberry sauce, and the stuffing. The dessert was outstanding as well. I wish I had a bigger stomach!!!! The atmosphere was amazing for an America lover, and the colonial theming was fantastic. We sat in the George Washington room. The restaurant can be loud with the large families coming in, but the service and theming made up for that.

The ultimate Magic Kingdom "Reset Button"—A Must-Have Reservation! Liberty Tree Tavern should honestly be 6 stars—don’t change a thing! This is a must-have reservation for any long day in the Magic Kingdom. The fresh, wholesome, home-cooked food is exactly what you need to fight the "theme park fatigue" that sets in after hours of walking. The Patriot’s Platter is filling and delicious, making it feel like a real meal that fuels you up to tackle the rest of a chaotic day with the kids. It’s comforting, reliable, and feels like home in the middle of all the park energy. If you need a break that actually leaves you feeling satisfied and ready for the fireworks, this is the spot!

I would recommend avoiding this restaurant. The food was horrid and absolutely not A value. Are plates consisted of a scoop of mashed potatoes, a small scoop of mush which was supposed to be stuffing, a slice of ham and turkey, a thicker slice of what is deli meat. The only good thing was the salad, all for $49/person. Avoid!

Manager was very rude. Alberto would not put me on a list or didnt care I waited 30 minutes in the hot sun which is a line to just check in. If they trained people to be quick it should have never taken so long.

The Food was great and atmosphere was amazing everything was great top tier restaurant!

  • May 26, 2026

Service great, atmosphere fun however, the food most likely prepackaged/boxed/canned. The sodium content was too much and the dessert was extremely sugary. We eat pretty clean (not totally) so salt, sugar, chemical content is quite evident to my family. The food was ok. I believe if they cut back on salt, sugar, chemicals the food would be more enjoyable. All in all we a nice experience.

This place is a must. Every single thing they have is so good. And the dessert… oh my gosh. 10/10.

  • May 6, 2026

This place straight up reset my standards every bite was crazy rich, perfectly balanced, and hit way harder than it had any right to. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the best food I’ve ever had, like everything else feels mid now.

5 visits never a way and the food never disappoints.

THE BEST. probably my favourite Disney restaurant ever. the theme is adorable and the staff is so so nice. foods amazing every time. the set Menu also kills a lot of the stress for me. I love the OG christmas family style meal!! also the dessert is my fav thing in the whole world. gooey choc chip cookie dessert with ice cream, A dream seriously.

Place is expensive! We didn't enjoy our food since we chose the vegan/vegetarian options. The impossible or plant based meatballs are trash, too salty. Same with the mashed potatoes, and The desert didn't taste good. Very disappointing experience.

Step back in time and experience the true setting of our history past - with home style comfort food and surroundings- right in the heart of the magic kingdom

  • April 14, 2026

I wasnt sure at first for this restaurant, but the food was very good 👍 Love the meat, the sides and the dessert was INSANE 🔥 The vibe is calm, and can be boring for kids I recommend for adults, but not for people who are looking for a theme dining experience. You go there for the food, the service was ok, but not very friendly

Pro tip; this fantastic restaurant and the Diamond Horseshoe restaurant share a kitchen. While the Horseshoe's menu has varied in the past, now it is exactly the same fantastic meals you get at Liberty Tree. So if you can't get a reservation at one, try the other. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best place to eat in the Magic Kingdom; Thanksgiving every night with all the classic fixings. Considering it is all you can eat, this is definitely one of the best deals for a meal in MK.

Loud, inside space. The salad was okay, the proteins were very disappointing. The pot roast was over done like jerky, and they tried advertising Hormel ham loaf as “smoked pork.” Sorry Disney, there’s a huge difference. This borders false advertising. The dessert was okay but we asked for coffee with our dessert and it was cold. After paying that much, I expected a better, all around dining experience.

It was good but not worth what it cost you.

An excellent family style dining option. Great food and service.

This is one of our favorite restaurants at Disney! It’s served family-style (all-you-care-to-enjoy), and we’ve consistently had great meals here. It often gets overlooked since it’s not a character dining experience, but it has become a must-do for us—at this point, we make a point to have dinner here on almost every trip. Service can be a bit hit or miss. Our last few visits were excellent, but on our most recent trip, our server was difficult to find at times. That said, the overall experience and quality of the food keep us coming back. If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s definitely worth checking out!

Came here for lunch during one of my park days with my friend. My last name is Rodriguez and the person who walked us to the table was speaking Spanish and I told her that my friend didn’t speak spanish (wanting her to do the spiel in English so my friend could understand because tbh I didn’t understand half of what she was saying) and she just nodded her head and walked away after the spanish spiel. The food at Liberty Tree tavern was tasty it’s basically like thanksgiving dinner. The garlic rolls were probably the best part and the gravy and stuffing. There wasn’t anything amazing other than the toffee cake dessert, except neither my friend or I had room for it! So tragic.

Delicious food served family style and all you can eat. They are wonderful about dealing with food allergies and the servers are very attentive.

Liberty Tree tavern in Disney World Orlando was a terrific family friendly all you can eat buffet. The food was delicious and hot. The buffet was large with lots of choices. There was something for everyone especially for picky eaters. I loved the pot roast with gravy and mashed potatoes. The desserts were great. Our hostess was very accommodating and welcoming.

A solid standby for families in search of classic American fare, the tavern serves up quality food with quick service.

Wonderful place to bring your family when at Magic Kingdom. Plenty of food, deliciously prepared and great service.
