What diners say — our read

The trajectory matters more than the average on this listing. Front-of-house tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.5 stars. Freshness and temperature is the next most common subject, in 40% of reviews (averaging 4.3).

Value for money shows up in 20% of reviews as well, averaging 4.2. Of the 25 rated reviews, 22 sit at four stars or better and 2 at two or below. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (18 of 25).

The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (96/100) with 1 intermediate and 1 basic violations. The visit behind that grade was April 24, 2026. The trend across inspections is decline. That puts it ahead of 66% of graded kitchens in Orange County. For specifics, the last inspection cited food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and single-service and single-use items.

With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Narcoossee’s is a waterfront signature dining restaurant located at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, offering a seafood-focused menu with one of the best views in Walt Disney World. The restaurant has a relaxed but upscale atmosphere, with large windows and waterfront seating overlooking the Seven Seas Lagoon. The biggest appeal is the combination of elevated dining, lake views, and the ability to watch the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the restaurant area. The menu focuses heavily on seafood and premium entrées, with dishes like lobster bisque, surf and turf, pork chop, shrimp and grits, and fresh seafood options. The lobster bisque is one of the standout starters, offering a rich and creamy flavor with noticeable pieces of lobster throughout. The surf and turf is another highlight, pairing a well-prepared steak with butter-poached lobster for a classic upscale combination. The sides also contribute to the meal, especially the creamy mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. Dessert is another memorable part of the experience, especially the almond-crusted cheesecake with mascarpone. It has become one of the restaurant’s signature items because of its unique texture and flavor compared to a traditional cheesecake. It is a great way to finish the meal, especially when shared after a larger dinner. The service is one of Narcoossee’s strongest points. The staff creates a more personalized dining experience, and the pacing feels more attentive compared to many busy Disney…

One of the best meals we have had at Narcoossee's! Kaylie was an excellent server.

Going to Narcoossee's is something we try to do every time we go to Disney World because it is that good! Went this past week and I couldn't have been happier with the meal and service- it was one of the best dinners I have ever had. I would order this same meal if I was on death row as a final meal it was that good. First they had amazing White Sangria which I feel like I never see and it's one of my favorite drinks. It came in a gorgeous glass with just the right amount of fruitiness and looked crisp and white. We also got the key lime pie martini which was great! The warm loaf of bread they bring out is so good and crusty, and we tried the brisket & ricotta tortelloni which was a unique flavor combination that we enjoyed but probably would not get again. The heart of romaine salad was unexpectedly delicious with the caper vinaigrette and would recommend. I had the Plancha-seared Scallops and my god were they good and cooked so perfectly. It was just the right portion and not too small. The side of grilled shrimp I got was also just so delicious. Surf & Turf is also great you cannot go wrong there. Lastly, the Almond-crusted cheesecake is incredible and I could not imagine ordering anything else for dessert there. The lakeside views and updated coastal vibe is wonderful. They open and close the front doors for you as well. Our server was fantastic and this is my favorite restaurant at DW. Thank you! The only one little nagging thing was at the very end I commented on the…

Best food we have had at Disney! Highly recommend and would certainly go again. The service was excellent. Highly recommend the Calamari!!!!

This was our first time dining here and everything was impeccable. We showed up pretty dang early by accident and they were so accommodating. One of the gentleman at the host stand, Mario, made our experience so special. We were taking some selfies since we were really excited about finally eating here and he took us by the water and took pictures of us and then a picture in front of the sign. He also had us seated well before our reservation and checked on us during dinner. I love that the servers aren’t overloaded. Each server had maybe 3-4 tables so it was very attentive and you never had to track anyone down for refills. It felt very personalized. Narcoossee’s started out high with that fresh sourdough loaf and salted butter and it kept getting better. The lobster bisque is poured table side and she explained all the ingredients. It had a good bit of lobster, but it was also super flavorful in the bites that didn’t have any. Creamy and delicious. We both ordered the surf and turf. Our steaks were seared and seasoned and cooked exactly to our preferred temperature. The red onion jam was a nice touch. The mashed chives potatoes buttery and whipped. The butter poached lobster melted in our mouth and the carrots were also fantastic. The key lime pie was good and very tart, but if you eat with your eyes first, it’s not visually stunning like the appetizer and entree. The key lime I’ve seen in the past was breathtaking and this looked more like lemon meringue pie but replace…

This place is on point every time we dine there. It doesn't matter what we get, it's always amazing. Recently the tomatoes tart was a surprise highlight for apps. The red fish is the best dish at WDW imo. The surf and turf steak was amazing too. Satvat the bar and the bartender was really good. Has been my fav restaurant on property for a decade and doesn't seem that will be changing any time soon

    Very fresh and great service!

  • May 17, 2026

Mike runs a n excellent restaurant and I believe this to be better dining experience that Citrico or California grill. Hot take maybe but I’ve never had a bad dish the staff is great and the wine list excellent.

  • May 15, 2026

Disappointed. This place has phenomenal food and staff but its turned into all the other Disney chow halls. Loud as heck and people wearing t-shirts and tennis shoes. Used to be a place where you could count on it feeling special. Not so much any more.

  • May 6, 2026

This is a great place for dinner! It is kid-friendly. It’s a dressy casual vibe.

  • May 6, 2026

This was the perfect restaurant to celebrate our law school graduation! Food is amazing and service is phenomenal. Our waiter Edwin specifically was fantastic. Made our night so special!

  • May 2, 2026

Absolutely amazing world class service! Edwin was our waiter and he was just amazing. He was warm and inviting, gave great advice about the food and was always present when we needed him. The food was excellent, particularly the charcuterie, calamari appetizer, red fish entre, and chocolate bread pudding dessert. The only less than optimal part of the dining experience was the extremely loud and cafeteria-like atmosphere of the venue. The original building was for performing, and the acoustics are horrible for a restaurant with the loud, echoing clamor of everyone’s voices making it difficult to hear conversations. Due to the lesson optimal atmosphere, the price point for the food seems quite high.

  • May 1, 2026

Edwin was amazing! Best dining experience we’ve had so far, food and drinks are well worth 2 dining credits. Ask for Edwin when making your reservation

  • April 29, 2026

The food and service lived up to the reputation, was very happy with our experience overall. My only negative would be that it was a bit louder than I was expecting. But overall would return with knowing that it could be a bit loud at times. Loved that you could see the castle through any of the windows and we had the pleasure of seeing multiple rainbows after some rain so that added to the already beautiful views!! 😍

  • April 27, 2026

One of our most favorite places for great food and fireworks on the lakeside of the Grand Floridian.

  • April 22, 2026

Narcoossee’s was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The service was amazing, our server Edwin was so kind, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. The food was honestly the best thing ever (Especially the Korean BBQ Salmon). The view of the fireworks and the Magic Kingdom castle created such a magical, unforgettable story!!!

Nice for a special occasion. We were there to celebrate our anniversary. Our table had a card and rose petals when we were kindly seated by Corey. He recommended the coffee martini and it was excellent. Calamari was salty, but tender. The scallops were also tender and polenta had a good flavor, but the pork cheek was hard bacon bits. We received complimentary plated chocolates for our anniversary. We went out on the covered patio to watch the fireworks and the view was nice over the water. When we left Corey thanked us for going there for our anniversary. He is a great employee and kind person.

Arrr, ye scurvy dogs! I, Cap’n Blackbeard’s ghost, what plundered every sea from Tortuga to the Spice Isles, dropped anchor at Narcoossee’s and nearly walked the plank from sheer delight! That NY Strip? Blackened like me own Jolly Roger, drippin’ with a sauce what made me peg leg tap dance. Scallops? Crispy as Spanish gold, swimmin’ in glory. And that fancy coffee sundae with the lacy gold crisp? ‘Twas a treasure chest o’ heaven, ye bilge rats! But praise be to me server Jae— the finest matey on land or wave! Swift as a cutlass, jolly as rum, and never once made me swab the deck. She kept me mug full and me belly fuller without a single “avast” or complaint. If ye ain’t eatin’ here, ye be marooned on a desert isle o’ bad grub. Narcoossee’s be the crown jewel o’ the seven tables. 10 gold doubloons out o’ 10! Now pass the grog— I mean, the hot tea. Arrr!

Ellen our server made my birthday so special. The calamari was top notch and I’ve had a lot of calamari in my life. The marina and the pickled vegetables truly complimented the calamari which was perfectly crispy and cooked. The lobster bisque was delicious as well. The sourdough bread with the salted butter was amazing and so hard not to fill up on. For entrees, my husband loved his Shrimp Bucatini. My scallops were delicious and are HUGE. The green beans that come on top are the best green beans I’ve ever had.

Beautiful setting and truly top-tier service, which makes this a tough review to write. Narcoossee’s at the Grand Floridian absolutely delivers on atmosphere, the views are stunning and the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the same standard. I ordered the surf and turf along with the Brussels sprouts and the seafood charcuterie board, and every dish missed the mark. The steak was overcooked, the lobster tail was easily the saltiest thing I’ve ever tasted, and the charcuterie board felt heavily over-seasoned across the board. Even the Brussels sprouts were off. Really wanted to love this place given the setting and service, but the kitchen needs serious adjustment to match the rest of the experience.

Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and extremely attentive staff. Amer was an awesome server. He did extra things to make our 3 year old feel special. The king crab and lobster bisque and the almond cheesecake were all spectacular. One of the best meals we’ve ever had.

We had such a great experience at Naccoorres. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and enjoyable. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service really made the whole meal stand out. Our waitress, Hilda, was amazing. She was kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely taken care of throughout the meal. She had such a friendly attitude and helped make the experience feel even more special. It’s always a big deal when service is this good, and Hilda really went above and beyond. Overall, this was a wonderful dining experience and one we’d happily recommend to others. We left very happy and would absolutely come back.

We had a reservation for a party of 6 (4 adults and 2 children - ages 7 & 8) this past Wednesday evening for 8:55 pm. Our intention was to have dinner and watch the Disney fireworks. The host told us it would be a 10-15 minute delay to be seated. We didn't get seated until 9:45 pm just as the fireworks were finishing. It then took another 10 minutes before we received water and bread. By the time the dinner was served, the children were exhausted and were ready to get back to the hotel to go to bed. Dinner was rushed and the $60 surf and turf was only partially eaten and had to be taken to-go. My grand daughter's overpriced hamburger was actually better tasting than the steak in the $60 surf and turf. My opinion ... over-rated and over-priced. Horrible experience.

  • March 12, 2026

Overall, the food is pretty good and well thought out. They did make my brisket and ricotta tortellini undercooked but they rectified that. The food is on the expensive side because of the quality of ingredients and elevated flavor profiles. I definitely say it is your money’s worth. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco and I liked it. I didn’t think it was amazing so I went to look up the price online if I were to buy it. We paid $100 in the restaurant, but I found it for $10 online. That was a little off putting at least give me a $40 bottle of Prosecco for your up charge to $100. Our server was nice but not the high-end server I would’ve preferred when our bill is like $600. We ordered a lot of food and drinks for our table. She wasn’t extremely attendant or quick. When we go to expensive restaurants, the server caliber tends to be overcompensating. Like I said she was nice. The chef did come out to speak with us. Very nice man. Overall, I would return to this restaurant, I just might skip the bottle of Prosecco lol.
