The direction of travel is downward across these 19 reviews. Where the staff comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.0, so it reads as a strength. How clean the place looks follows at 26% of reviews, where ratings average 4.4.
Of the 19 rated reviews, 14 sit at four stars or better and 4 at two or below. Serving size shows up in 16% of reviews as well, averaging 3.7. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 12 of 19.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (97/100), 1 intermediate violations at the most recent DBPR visit. That result dates from July 9, 2025. On health score it sits safer than 77% of the Osceola County restaurants we grade. What the inspector actually wrote up: food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Great rooms okay service location is out of way to attractions But over all a good resort for the vaule

Our stay was absolutely amazing. This facility has great views, beautiful pools and in the perfect location not far from the theme parks and near plenty of restaurants. Also the care that the staff puts into their jobs is impeccable. The accommodations for people with disabilities and physical limitations is mind blowing. We absolutely love Mystic Dunes. I have traveled from East coast to the West coast from Buffalo, New York to the Keys, most of the time there is something slightly off with the rooms Mystic Dunes are always spot on. We will definitely be returning. 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Unfortunately our stay at Mystic Dunes by Hilton in Orlando was extremely disappointing. When we arrived for check-in, another guest behind me asked to skip ahead to request a room change. At the time, I didn’t think much of it and assumed they just preferred a different location. Looking back, I understand why they may have been requesting a different room. The room layout itself was honestly impressive. We booked connecting accommodations that were essentially two apartment-style units behind one entry door. One side had two bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining area, living room with a sleeper sofa, and washer/dryer. The second side also included a king bedroom, full bath, kitchen, living space, sleeper sofa, and laundry. For large families, multiple families traveling together, or families with teenagers needing their own space, the setup is excellent. Unfortunately, the cleanliness completely overshadowed what could have been a great stay. Our first room appeared not to have been properly cleaned before arrival. The floors throughout both units were sticky from the entry hallway onward. The baseboards were visibly dirty with black and brown buildup. One side had a strong cigarette smoke smell despite the resort being advertised as smoke-free. In another bedroom, the sheets appeared previously used and simply remade rather than replaced. We requested a room change and were initially told none were available. After returning to the front desk, they located…

Everything was excellent

I had a very unpleasant experience here due to the manager of guest services.

We enjoyed our stay here. We stayed as guests and the first thing I noticed was that they were not pushy at all when I checked in. Usually when you go to a timeshare place they try to sell you right away. This did not happen at all here. They concierge was so helpful and gave lots of coupons for the activities we were doing while in Orlando. The suite was very spacious. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with what we needed. The room was slightly dated but nothing to complain about. Both pools we went to were family friendly. They also had daily activities (though there was a fee) and mini golf that the kids loved. If we came back to this area we would stay again!

I really loved this hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff made me feel welcome throughout my stay. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, making it easy to feel at home. This was one of those places that made the trip even more enjoyable. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Just had recent stay and they double charged us. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. They failed to resolve the problem. Customer service was horrible.

There is nothing better than dealing with kind and knowledgeable people. Especially after traveling 36 hours. My family and I just flew in from vacationing in Hawaii, our favorite place to vacation. To our second favorite place in the world to visit which is Florida. Upon check in the was an issue with our room. Katie listened, understood an handled the issue that was difficult still given us a great experience. Annalise the manager stepped in to help and continued our great check in experience being equally as spectacular as Kaite. Both of them changing my frown to a smile and ensuring the second half of our vacation will start off wonderful. Then comes Santiago, who must be a computer wizard continuing the excellence by connecting our reservations so we could stay in the same room the duration of our trip. It was an amazing experience even when it started with an issue. It was great to be made important and being heard. Those three are top notch humans. Thanks for you excellence and all you do.

The room was quite nice. Details from best to worst. Upgraded to 2BD suite. Spacious for 4. Beds were great. Room darkness was a plus. Main en suite was awesome. Separate toilet. Tub was luxurious. Shower was a little above standard. Orlando water tastes bad (to us). That’s less than ideal. Buy water bottles. Kitchen was ok, but without any food storage or basic pantry (cooking oil for example), it seems like they don’t actually expect you to use the kitchen. As such, used kitchen like standard 3 star (Hilton Garden Inn) style where we end up microwaving a few things, cereal, etc. Full fridge is effectively aspirational on this basis. Maybe room is different if you tell them you have small children, but no toddler-ware. I would rather have complimentary waffles and liquid egg than this aspirational kitchen. The pools were nice, but not nice enough to skip WDW or Universal for. Maybe if you’re just here for golf it makes more sense. Walk to everything was a bit far. Maybe I missed the memo on how to hail a golf cart. Too far from WDW and Disney if those are goals of vacation. Costs ~$25 one way to WDW in 2026 via Lyft/Uber. They *do not* have any form of park or airport shuttles. That’s unfortunate. That would be a major selling point to me.

Great location, not far from Universal Orlando City walk. Enjoyed my stay, the room was clean and the area was quiet. I loved sitting on the screened in balcony. The staff was nice and professional. The lobby was inviting and very clean. The pool was close by and not crowded.

I have stayed here numerous times and usually have a nice time but this time was not nice at all Beware if you stay at Mystic Dunes. I left an outfit behind, called immediately filed a claim with a confirmation ID, and was even personally contacted by a security guard who said the item was found. When I came back, that same day it was gone, and staff denied it ever existed. This was incredibly disappointing, and I would caution anyone staying here.needless to say we will not be staying here again

Our family enjoyed our stay. The rooms were great, so clean and updated. We had the top floor and got to enjoy the views and the nighttime fireworks at Magic Kingdom from our balcony. We will definitely be back for another stay in the near future.

Just started our Vacation but so far it's amazing. Will update if that changes.

Hilton you did it again! What a wonderful resort. Family vacation was the best. So much to do, never a dull moment from biking to grilling to pickle ball and pools we got burned out on activity. Close to the parks but plan for Orlando traffic. Rooms were clean and service impeccable, they really treated us good. We will be back!

Thanks Bouchra for informative and quick check-in. Definitely a 5 star staff and great representative of Hilton brand. I've travelled across the world in different Hilton hotels and always exceed expectations.
