Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Reviews here split hard: 12 five-star against 2 one-star, with little in between. Service cuts both ways here, averaging 3.6 among the reviews that raise it. Whether food comes out hot is the next most common subject, in 37% of reviews (averaging 4.0).
If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (12 reviews). How long an order takes shows up in 21% of reviews as well, averaging 4.3. 14 of 19 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 5 are two or lower.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (94/100), 6 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. DBPR last walked in on October 13, 2025. On health score it sits safer than 80% of the Lake County restaurants we grade. The citations behind that grade include in-use food dispensing utensils properly stored and nonfood-contact surfaces clean.
Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. Everything above is computed from the 19 reviews reproduced below.

I'm bummed that they don't have the Mediterranean Chicken Salad anymore, but that's ok, I just ordered something else and it was good!

I don’t know what happened to this place. They supposedly stand for ‘People Dedicated to Quality’, but I think they’re just people dedicated now. The quality is just missing. Again, I don’t know if it’s new management or new recipes or combination of both, but PDQ actually used to be really great. Now, it doesn’t taste the same. My spicy chicken sandwich had no flavor on it and then my fries, which were supposed to be double crisped, were not even cooked at all. Come on guys, I know you can and have done better. I would honestly recommend going to Bojangles, Chick-Fil-A or even Zaxbys down the street for something that tastes better and more worth your money. Please, save your time and money elsewhere.

Great service, Cashier was very nice 😊

It’s a clean place, food quality good. Service used to be excellent, but we recently got ignored at the counter one late night when NO ONE ELSE was dining. Minus 3 stars for being made to feel like that. I mean, we didn’t beg them for their attention because we were clearly the only customer. Just waited on them as they worked, then counted to ten, then left. We left feedback on their online system, but their response did not win back our previous loyalty and enthusiasm.

From the drive-thru to the dine-in, this location absolutely nails it every time. The team is fast, friendly, and always gets my order correct! It’s rare to find a place where efficiency and great customer service go hand in hand, but PDQ makes it look effortless. Whether you’re grabbing a quick meal on the go or sitting down to enjoy it, the experience is consistently top-notch. Keep up the amazing work!

The food’s always fresh. The service is always wonderful thank you PDQ.

Clean, fast service, always greeted with a smile. Plenty of free parking with some lights, more lighting will be nice and increase a safer factor or feeling. The food is always fresh and tender with a good flavor. The sauces are great, must try all of them. The size of the items are not impressively big nor the quantity is exaggerated and the prices are higher than expected. I do think the drinks could be bigger. The drive tru is fast and personal, yes, you order on the window with a person and not using a speaker. Then food is served by another person using the next window. It makes me believe this system provides less room for errors since so far my orders have been great.

There is no better place to get chicken strips. Fried, grilled, spicy, they are all great.

Bella was great

Halfway through my sandwich and the thicker part was Very undercooked. They refunded it after I asked. This was my first time at a PDQ, Mistakes happen but raw chicken when all they cook is chicken.....

I only have an 30 mins to an hour for lunch like most working people. I placed my order not even 5 mins before I entered the store my meal was ready with in 3. Fresh chicken, and the parmesean broccoli was the best! As far as chicken sandwiches go ....Chick-fil-A cant compare...

Love the staff here, except the ones cooking. My honeybutter chicken sandwich was raw. Submitted a compliant to management, let's see if they respond. Will update once I receive their response.

Sandwiches are delicious. I just wish they were bigger. Their like the size of a McDonald's dollar menu sandwich.

So yummy! I googled spicy chicken sandwich near me and this didn’t disappoint! I will be back again.

Stopped in for lunch and got stared at by 2 doomer employees. No one greeted us, they just looked at us and then turned and walked away and that was that. Love PDQ but this one may be best for drive through.
