The kitchen grades better than the reviews do. How guests are treated is the sore point: those reviews average 2.5.
1 star is the modal score, given by 5 of the 17 reviewers who rated. Conspicuously absent: freshness and temperature, which no reviewer brings up. The split is 5 positive to 8 negative across 17 rated reviews, with 4 in the middle.
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (93/100), with 7 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That inspection was on May 7, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is declining, which argues for reading the older reviews with caution. Ranked against Lake County, it is safer than 74% of the restaurants we score. Among the items recorded were in-use food dispensing utensils properly stored and nonfood-contact surfaces clean.
The weak part of this listing is the experience, not the sanitation — those are different failures. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

Immer wieder lecker das 7 Dollar Angebot ist der Hammer
-
They usually are pretty good but I got a cheesy gordita crunch with just a pinch of beef
-
Everything was made completely incorrectly I’m very pissed off as this isn’t the first time this has happened

Food was great! Service on the other hand not so much. Counter girl needs a serious attitude adjustment. She forgot our drinks and made it seem like it was the end of the world to grab them for us. No have a good day, thank you, nothing.

This is the most inconsistent Taco Bell I've been to. You never know if you'll get what you paid for or half of the food you ordered. Little meat on tacos, a little squirt of guacamole in the little cup instead of the full cup, almost 1/4 of soda missing from your cup!! I'm fed up!! This is why I want everyone to know! Maybe the employees get more training on filling cups and meat in the tacos consistently as they should!

Pulled up at 3:05 am and they were closed. When the signs says they close at 4:00am..

I give it 5 stars, very good for everyone.

Cleanest taco bell I've seen, food as expected

Although staff was nice, it took an ungodly amount of time.. I had my car in park while the car in front of me was waiting for a single bag of food. When I pulled up to the window the person working apologized for the wait and was nice, she got another drink orders ready then grabbed her cell phone waiting to get my food to hand it to me. I noticed the display on the wall with the time and I was at that window for more the 20 mins before I finally got my food. Help me understand why it takes so long to make the food, that amount of time is how long I wait at Outback or Millers.. not a Taco Bell..

In store services getting bad drive through seems to be the way to go

We went to get food late on Friday night after 1pm. There was a ridiculously line for it being so late. We decided to put in a mobile order and good thing we did because two cars in front of us the guy was told they were only doing mobile orders at that time… After he waited in line for probably like 30 minutes or more in line. And then when we pulled up to the order speaker, we were told they didn’t have or mobile order. We told them it clearly went through on our end. Turns out the cashier was just incompetent. Our mobile order was put in at 1:10 and pickup was supposed to be 1:20. We did not receive our food until after 2am. Never coming back to this Taco Bell ever again. We will be going to the one down the road.

What has happened to your potatoes? Why are your potato based items no longer available on the online ordering menu when they seem to be available at other locations? I yearn for my potates.

This taco bell is so dirty inside I mean disgusting. The lady would took my order was nice. This place needs a visit from the health department ASAP. I didn't get anything but a drink.
