BEACHSIDE HOTEL AND SUITES

Stayed here 3 years ago and remembered the lazy river pool relaxing and a short walk to the beach. Hoping for a relaxing weekend get away this past weekend. We booked 2 nights but left after one night. I am surprised at the 3 star rating, in my opinion it's a 2 star hotel at best. Although the staff and maintenance were great, helpful and pleasant, the place was a great disappointment. We won't go back.

Stayed here when my granddaughter played Space Coast World Series softball tournament. Staff was excellent-- especially Lou! We had a wonderful time!!

i was there, the room was not cleaned well, there was hair on the bed, i know sand is hard to clean off, but there was sand absolutely everywhere too. i know in florida theres no escaping bugs, but multiple roaches, the showers body wash container was broken, the bathroom was left dirty, the bathtub was not cleaned, and also, accidentally turned the heat on, it started SMOKING. the fire alarm went off!! that is a health hazard.

I stayed at this hotel over the weekend, from Friday to Sunday. My first impression from the outside was that the hotel looked older and a little neglected, but once I walked inside, my impression changed completely. The entrance area was pleasant, clean, and had a nice smell. The staff was very professional, helpful, and friendly. Everyone I interacted with treated me well. The property appears to have been renovated with an 80s-style vibe. I do think the hotel could use more investment and updates in some areas, but it still has some very nice features. One of the highlights is the lazy river pool, which is perfect for relaxing. However, it is not really a traditional swimming pool; it is more for floating and relaxing on a tube. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I stayed in a double queen room that also had a separate sitting area with a sofa bed, which made the room feel very roomy and convenient. The room was not perfectly spotless, but it was clean enough and had everything we needed, including towels, a refrigerator, and a microwave. Housekeeping does not clean the rooms daily, at least during my two-night stay, but that was not a major issue for me. The main area I think needs improvement is the bedding. The mattresses and pillows could definitely use an update, as I was not able to rest as well as I would have liked. The breakfast was very good and had a nice variety. I found out the day before we were to arrive that Expedia was unable to verify our accomodations and cancelled our room. I contacted Beachside directly and they were able to accomodate (mostly) what our original reservation was for a better rate. The staff was friendly and helpful in rebooking. After a 13 hr drive, check in was easy, staff was fun and friendly, gave us dinner suggestions, we spent some time in the lazy river. The next day we used beach "rental" items to go visit Cocoa Beach, spent time on the lazy river, enjoyed some more local food, and did some laundry before our cruise. They have several washers and dryers. The food is good, the on site restaurant is good, the staff was friendly, the location was perfect for us. We would stay here again if/when we find ourselves back in the area! The buildings are showing some age but they have tried to make updates and keep it comfortable and maintained. The frustrations I had were more with fellow patrons behavior than hotel issues.

While the rooms appeared clean, it did not take long for a cockroach to show up. Literally crawled up my husband's leg. Immediately switched rooms/floors and they gave us half of our money back which was appreciated. Pics look great on the Internet but once you see it up close the place is actually pretty run down. Lazy river was almost as boiling hot as the air outside, not refreshing. Frequent toilet clogging issues as well though maintenance was responsive to it quickly. Would stay elsewhere, this location and area are a bit run down and anywhere with cockroaches is a big no.

Great location but safety issues. There were people partying all night until morning when I left. Staff didn't care neither did security. We had 2 rooms and they separated us across the property and the place wasn't even at capacity. I was put in an adjoining room with the people whoopin it up all night. I barricaded my door and slept terribly. Bathroom was gross with mold I didn't even shower. Spend a few extra bucks and stay next door.

Our recent family vacation was highly disappointing. Our room was not properly maintained—we found a cockroach in our room on the third day and had to change rooms. To make matters worse, management accused us of damaging the AC and the door because we hadn’t reported the issues immediately on day one. Management is friendly until a problem arises, at which point they become confrontational rather than helpful. As a travel agent I'll make sure that I don't book anyone else here and I'll make sure that all my future clients do not stay here either. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else.

I almost never leave negative hotel reviews, but this time I feel I have to speak up. I have traveled a lot and have stayed in everything from luxury hotels to the cheapest roadside motels. Even when something wasn’t perfect, I usually understood the situation and overlooked small issues. But this experience was TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT!!! The photos of the hotel and rooms DO NOT accurately REPRESENT REALITY . They are heavily edited and make the property look much better than it actually is. Don’t be fooled!!!!! The hotel is VERY, VERY OLD!! They are trying to maintain it with fresh paint but the age of the building is impossible to hide. The room had a STRONG SMELL OF DAMPNESS . Old AC. The couch was wet — not just uncomfortable, but so damp that I couldn’t even place my clothes or personal belongings on it. By the next morning, my clothes and even the bed sheets felt moist. Even clothes in the luggage!!!! I have never experienced anything like this in any hotel before!!!! The floor was also dirty and sticky, almost oily. I don’t know whether it was caused by humidity or poor cleaning, but walking barefoot was unpleasant. After speaking with other guests during breakfast, I realized they mentioned the same issues: damp rooms, a worn-out condition. Some even told me they had areas in their rooms where mold had simply been painted over. Das Hotel ist ein absolutes Muss! Äußerlich ein landestypisches Motel, aber im Innenraum ein kleines Las Vegas. Eine extravagante Poolanlage mit Strömungsanlage (Fluss), ausreichend (etwas wenig Schirme), Bildschirm (abends ggf mit Kinderfilm), Bar mit Alkoholausschank. Trotzdem ist es Sehr kinderfreundlich mit etlichen Schwimmringen usw. Im Hotel gibt es ausreichend Waschmaschinen und Trockner für Gäste. In unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft findet man zwei große Shops für Bademode und mehr. Die Mitarbeiter waren gleichermaßen zurückhaltend und hilfsbereit.

⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Beachside Hotel & Suites offers a great location near Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach, making it a convenient choice for cruisers and beachgoers. We were able to get an excellent rate through a travel agent discount, which made the value even better. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A special shout-out to Angelo, who provided excellent customer service and made us feel appreciated as guests. The lazy river pool area is fun and unique, especially for families. However, the pool floats are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and there were only a limited number available. Several were also deflated or in need of replacement. While the online photos are attractive, guests should know that the property is older than it appears in the pictures. The buildings have been updated cosmetically, but some areas still show their age. The exterior buildings and elevators could benefit from additional cleaning and maintenance. There is only one elevator, and during busy times it can be slow. Parking was generally adequate, although accessible parking spaces were somewhat limited. One thing to keep in mind is dining availability. The staff follows posted hours closely. We arrived shortly after the kitchen closed and were unable to order food, so plan meals accordingly. Second year staying here. Last year we LOVED it. This year we had a room for 8 nights and our family had a room for 3 nights. Their floors were sandy and sticky when they got there and they didn’t receive a cleaning while they were there so they laid towels down to walk on. They anlso had a light fixture that was rusted/broken to where they couldn’t move it like ours did that they repeatedly bumped their heads on. Our room was clean at check in but our entire stay we didn’t receive a full clean. We asked several times and were told they can’t accommodate that. We got one light refresh after night 5 where they swept, wiped surfaces and changed out towels. We could have really used fresh linens and a light mop by night 5. That being said the customer service members are all very friendly, the bar is great, our whole family loves the pool and the kids love the sand pit and games, not many hotels fit our family of 6 and this one does, and the location is great. If they’d just step up their housekeeping they’d get 5 stars. Last year was a cleaner experience.

We read some of the other reviews and honestly I have no idea how anyone could leave these guys a bad review. The room, staff and atmosphere were fantastic. We stayed five nights and were so happy with our choice to stay here. The hotel is older but has been revamped and is wonderful. The rooms are cute and brightly colored and so close to the beach. The staff were all friendly and welcoming from Lew at the front desk to the grounds keepers and housekeepers to the security staff as well as Bonnie at the breakfast every morning. If you need any help with anything Lew at the front desk had the answer. If you need to know the good places to hang out or where to eat she is your gal. Would highly recommend them for a stay for your family. Our kids loved the play area and the lazy river plus the nightly movie by the pool. If we ever go back I would stay with them again no question !

We stayed here for 2 nights recently and had no issues whatsoever. The hotel itself is older but has been updated for the most part. The room was spacious and we were able to park right outside of our room each time. Even with most of the rooms being street accessible on the lower level, the area seemed safe. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet and everything was great! There is an on-site restaurant & bar but we didn't get the chance to check that out before leaving. All of the staff members were awesome as well! The beach was within walking distance and was a plus. Will definitely stay here again if we are back in the area.

Hotel velho caindo aos pedaços. Banheiro horrível, quarto velho e pequeno pra três pessoas. Esse hotel não vale $ 100,00 por noite. Eu paguei $ 320,00 dólares 1 diária, graças a Deus eu só fiquei um dia. Eu fiquei com nojo do banheiro velho e com o porta papel higiênico quebrado. O lençol das camas não foram trocados, parecia que tinha alguém dormindo no quarto antes de eu chegar, de tão amassado que estava o lençol. Não recomendo a ninguém ficar nesse hotel e ainda mais pagando uma diária de $ 300,00 dólares. Esse hotel não vale $ 100,00 dólares a noite. 😡😡

Moldy, musty, dirty bathroom grime around the walls, roaches running UNACCEPTABLE!!! How this place gets 4 and 5 star reviews is beyond me. Low expectations, I guess. The front office couldn't care less. Dump!!

This is an older style hotel that has been updated and renovated and converted to more of a resort experience. They have a nice Lazy River Pool and a good breakfast available. The location is very close to Cape Canaveral, the space center, Cocoa beach, Port Canaveral

What a nice boutique property! They were not busy when I arrived so they let me in early. I got a bar voucher and there was free breakfast. The grounds are clean and there are games lije cornhole. Small bar closes around 6:30 but they could build that business if they wanted to! Good location, a few strides to the beach. Good location, grocery and clithes shopping clise. Ron Jon next door. Can walk to pier about a mile. Pretty large rooms! Soft towels. I would definitely come back!

This property has so much potential!! We enjoyed so many things about it. Pool, room layout, security most of the staff was so friendly and responsive. I appreciated the family atmosphere and accommodating request to check in an hour early. We had a huge group that stayed this weekend.....BUT the rooms were filthy, like my son's feet were black from walking around on the floors, hair and sand everywhere, pull out couch was DISCUSTING, mold on picture frames, food wrappers under bed. Fruit from adult beverages and cups just laying out all weekend by the pool. The room layout for the suite was perfect but ugh gross!
