Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
72% of reviews here touch on service, more than any other theme. Service tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.8 stars. After that, pacing appears most often — 20% of the corpus, averaging 5.0.
If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (22 reviews). 24 of 25 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 0 are two or lower. One subject never comes up here: how clean the place looks.
On the health side, the most recent DBPR inspection returned a C (74/100) with 2 high-priority, 2 intermediate, and 4 basic violations — middling, much like the reviews. DBPR last walked in on January 22, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is upward over the records we hold. That puts it ahead of 10% of graded kitchens in Brevard County. The citations behind that grade include clean clothes and food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized.
The honest summary is that the evidence is mixed on both sides. Read the originals below and judge the pattern yourself.

I highly recommend. The food was wonderful and the service was perfect. The attention to customers and food is oit of this world. The last time I had Italian this good, I was stationed in Italy.

We vacation in Cocoa Beach for 2 weeks every June. Branos is on our must go to list! They have accommodated our group of 20+ people every time with great service and food. We have been here every year and plan on visiting every June.

The sweet Caroline pizza with cherrys is all I get I look forward to it every year

I had such a lovely meal with my mom! We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Bread is fresh and delicious! Our meals came out quick, and our server Peter was so sweet and attentive, yet not hovering! Beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and such kind staff! My mom was craving something they didn’t have on the menu, and Peter had a customized plate made for her! Above and beyond. We’ll definitely be back when we visit :)

Branos Pizza was fantastic. One of the best gluten free pizzas I’ve had. John was wonderful. Highly recommend! Thank you, Branos!

My lasagna was amazing!!! ❤️❤️💪🏻💪🏻

Great Italian food. Friendly staff. Has great specials. Can be very loud inside.
-
Such a great restaurant! Great staff, especially Rachelle. She made us feel special for our anniversary. We'll definitely be going back.
-
The food was absolutely delicious! And the service was on point! Dash, our waiter went over and beyond! This restaurant makes you wish you were a local!
-
Our waiter was wonderful! However, the food is seriously overpriced and not even that good. I had the fettuccine alfredo with chicken. The night before I had the same thing from Domino's. The Domino's was actually better!!! That should be enough to tell you what I mean about the food. It was just me, my daughter and my granddaughter there. My granddaughter is only eight years old so she ordered from the kids menu. For all of us combined this meal cost just under $95!!! That's way more than when I go to a steakhouse like Texas Roadhouse or Longhorn steakhouse! Seriously not worth the price!!! Huge disappointment!

Italian dinner spot while in town for work. They cover a lot of the basics and everything looked really good. They also nailed the slow dinner vibe I associate with Italian restaurants. I ordered the risotto and for me, it could have used a bit more on the stove. The rice was a bit too al dente for me but it was delicious and the demiglas made up for the rice. Super special call out for the baked brie. It was heaven on a plate. I'll be back just for that.

We got everything from sparkling water, two glasses of wine, a bottle of wine, pizza, cannoli, entrees, my personal favorite the baked Brie! Why wife and I were splurging. Cost $150 before card fee and tip. Worth every penny! service was amazing, the people next to us got an extra pizza cause the chef didn’t like that crust popped a hole. Go! Sit outside! splurge on memories and meals. It’s money well spent!

I really enjoyed Brano’s Italian Grill. Our server was fantastic and very attentive. I got the meatball bake pancetta and really enjoyed it. It’s definitely worth getting. The atmosphere was nice. This is definitely a place worth checking out.

The overall experience was great. We were seated quickly, the food came in a reasonable amount of time, the staff was pleasant and quickly responded to requests, the food was very good and the overall atmosphere was very good.

Visiting from out of town and stopped in at Branos based on the reviews. I'm go glad we went. We tried a variety of food and everything was excellent. Peter is probably the best waiter we've ever had anywhere. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.
-
We visited the end of May at the suggestion of someone we met at Grills at the port. WHAT A GREAT SUGGESTION IT WAS!!!! Our food was delicious and hot!!! I am a big pain when it comes to my food being hot and they met my expectations 100%!!! Coming back at the end of June/first of July and will definitely be back for more!!!

I went into Branos a few nights ago and had a wonderful experience. I'm deaf and have been my whole life, so when I go out to eat I am used to pointing at a menu and writing down requests, however my dining experience was different this time. I told the hostess my friend and I are both deaf, and shortly after we were sat, we were greeted by our waitress in sign language! Shelby was a pleasure to sign with, she told us she had only taken ASL 1, yet her signing was great! We had no problem communicating our orders and she made sure we enjoyed everything. She told us we were her second deaf table ever and that she absolutely loves getting opportunities to practice her sign and meet more people in the deaf community. If you're a deaf Cocoa Beach local and want a delicious meal waited on someone who knows ASL, I would highly recommend stopping by and asking to be sat with Shelby!

Great place to grab a pizza for takeout! The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The pizza was ready exactly on time. We took the pizza to the pool at our hotel, so they offered plates and napkins. Not to mention the pizza is delicious! Highly recommend!

Great little restaurant. Good Italian dining with nice selection of wines. Patio or inside seating and a very personable staff.

We had a wonderful experience at Brano’s Italian Grill in Cocoa Beach. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the service was outstanding. A special thank you to Aiden for his exceptional attention and professionalism. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant

Everything was delicious and the service was excellent!
-
Food was served hot and fresh. The soup of the day was phenomenal. Chicken parm was delicious as we're the sausage and peppers. Wouldn't recommend the Alfredo.
-
Amazing food and true Italian atmosphere.
-
Absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and Peter gave us top-notch service the entire time. Kids eat free on Tuesdays, which made it even better for our family. It’s hard to beat good Italian food during a beach vacation, and this spot nailed it. Definitely one of our favorite meals while in town — we’ll 100% be back!
