What diners say — our read

If these 25 reviews agree on a topic, it is the staff. Opinion on front-of-house is split — those reviews land at 3.9 on average. Price is the next most common subject, in 28% of reviews (averaging 3.3).

Of the 25 rated reviews, 16 sit at four stars or better and 5 at two or below. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (15 of 25). How food arrives shows up in 20% of reviews as well, averaging 2.4.

On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (98/100), with 2 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. The visit behind that grade was May 22, 2026. Ranked against Brevard County, it is safer than 76% of the restaurants we score. For specifics, the last inspection cited clean clothes and storage & handling of clean equipment and utensils.

Neither signal is decisive on its own here, which is why both are shown. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

Very fine dining in Cocoa Beach. The steaks and sea food entries enjoyed by our group were all excellent. Not cheap, but worth it.

Great food and drinks. A must stop for dinner while in Coco. Five stars if it only had a view of the beach.

Place was amazing would highly recommend. The environment and service was great, our server Meganne did an amazing job and I would highly recommend getting the seafood Alfredo. 10/10 would come here again.

My lamb chops were delicious and my wife’s filet was cooked to perfection!

This was our second visit, and we won't be going back due to poor food quality on both visits and an insulting drink charge, which I'll explain below. On our first visit several months ago, my mahi was cooked well but over-seasoned, and the portion size was rather small for the price. The vegetables were mediocre (I'll explain more about that below). My wife's steak was poorly seasoned. They took half of it back and only charged us half price for her steak, so it was well handled by the server. On our visit last night (6/20/26), we both had crab-stuffed shrimp, which was recommended by our server. The shrimp was small, probably not-locally sourced (certainly NOT Gulf shrimp), over cooked, and not stuffed. Each shrimp was split open, and half of at least some of the prawns were missing. Are they using half of the shrimp for other dishes? Their crab stuffing was only crab-flavored stuffing with no visible crab meat in it. This was for a $35 plate with three decently-prepared small scallops. The seasoned vegetables were a little over-seasoned and not served with much Au Jus in a separate plate section, so they weren't great (visit Icabods Dockside in Melbourne for great sauteed vegetables). The bread, advertised as baked in-house, was fine to me, but my wife felt it wasn't as good as we'd been served by several other area restaurants and that it might not even be made there. The Ceasar salad was fine (and didn't come with the meal, $13), but the croutons, also advertised as…

Everything about this place is amazing. The food is always cooked to perfection and the drinks are always made correctly as well. The bartender, Isabella, is always so attentive, nice and professional. She is very knowledgeable of the menu and is an absolute pleasure to chat with. I always make it a point to go here when I am in town for work. Will definitely be back. Keep up the great work!

Great meal, great service! Meganne B was awesome and had good recommendations for either side of the budget spectrum. Definitely recommend!

Bright friendly atmosphere , food was the undercooked or cold when served

We have been to Gregory's many times. Our sons usually pick it for their birthday dinners. We are never disappointed. The steaks are amazing! I love the Seafood Alfredo, it's quite yummeh. It is pricey, but well worth it. We've yet to be disappointed by the food or the service!

  • May 17, 2026

Steaks were bland, overcooked, and no flavor. Overpriced for a steak that was not even up to outback standards. The service was very good and friendly. I would not return just for the face that I can get a better steak in a hundred other places.

Dining was wonderful. Very attentive waiters and service Top Tier.I will come back here.

This place has a wonderful chef! Cooked my grouper to perfection and my husbands steak was deliciously tender. Keith our server recommend a wonderful bottle of wine to enjoy with our meal. Very few quality restaurants left like this one. So happy to have found it.

Awesome experience! Our family celebrated our daughter’s college graduation with a large group tonight and the hospitality of all staff was phenomenal and the food was so awesome. 5 stars is not enough. We will continue to make Gregory’s a mainstay for our special occasions and outings with friends. Already can’t wait to get back! ✊

The service was good and we enjoyed the ambiance. The food for the money was not good for the price we spent. My fillet was thin but was good....should have been thicker for the amount of money we spent. My friend's scallops were chewy and not edible. When we told the server, they offered a dessert...but the problem was it was her birthday and she was getting one. I would not recommend nor would I go back. Another thing....the ketchup and butter were served in plastic cups...the 4 of us cost almost $400 and that was with only 4 drinks

What a gem. The hostess was really really kind and made our special night with a sweet gesture. The service was top notch. The filet at 50.00$ for 8 oz was sadly very bland. Everything else was good especially the dessert. Nathan and hostess thanks for the great night.

Great quality for cost ratio, needs face lift, looks 1979

We were there to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday tonight. Getting our drinks took awhile. When the entrees arrived we each ordered a glass of red wine. We waited a good 15 minutes and meanwhile my filet mignon was getting cold waiting for the wine. We saw our waiter taking orders for a large table in the upper section of the restaurant while we waited for 2 glasses of wine! He finally came by without the wine to see how we were and we said cancel the wine it's too late. He apologized and asked no one brought it? We had asked someone else filling our water glasses about our wine order and nothing came of that either. Were going to have a dessert for his birthday but didn't want to wait another half hour for that. Don't think the wait staff is managed properly and probably need to hire more people. The filet was good but under cooked. Supposed to be medium and was really rare. Update: the manager called me personally the next day to apologize for the poor service. She said they had a very large group of men (the ones we had seen) who were being very difficult to manage. She sent me via text a gift certificate to make up for the inconvenience. The only problem is that we don't live there and not sure when we'll return. But, I appreciate the gesture.

Very disappointed in the food. My scallops and shrimp were overdone and very very dry.

  • April 23, 2026

I’ve been to many Places, this is by far the best steak and dinner experience that I’ve had in along time. A must try.

  • April 23, 2026

The best steak I have had in Cocoa the 10oz filet with Diane sauce was beyond great. Also try the shrimp Gregory The service was just as good. Ask for Megannne she will take care of you. Make a reservation

    Lobster mac had me puking

  • April 19, 2026

Well I hate to give the following review but it's true: the restaurant is run down carpets look worn out for top prices The atmosphere is horrible. Before we ever came there for dinner we wanted to know which floor was more desirable for dinner because it was our 23rd anniversary and that we bought tickets for the comedy show so we wanted to know with never being there is upstairs the same atmosphere as the downstairs so The woman maybe the manager told us that they're both the same? That is a lie they are so different they're not the same The upstairs is like a row of chairs like a cafeteria atmosphere so you don't want to eat dinner up there especially for your anniversary which we were on The food was so-so My husband's steak which was prime rib was good he had no complaints My fish I asked for no quinoa instead of the quinoa I'd like mashed potatoes so they took out all my vegetables and wouldn't add vegetable without charging The waitress 3/4 of the beginning of the night was rude nasty and rushing And as soon as tip time came around Megan became sweet. Tiramisu for dessert was so-so The cake in between all the cream was stale not so good Don't recommend using this steak and seafood House! Look up your reviews people

My wife and I are staying off-site at a condo next store and decided to try this place—so glad we did. The service, food and atmosphere were absolutely fantastic. Easily the best food we’ve had in Cocoa Beach. Highly recommend.

  • April 5, 2026

I had the raspberry kiss martini as well as a chocolate martini, both were pretty good. The lobsteraki was tasty. The service wasn’t what I would have hoped for being a Christmas party. I wouldn’t recommend for a future large event.

  • April 5, 2026

We had a delicious dinner of steaks, asparagus, and Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. The restaurant was quiet even though several guests were dining, enabling us to have a good conversation. It's a fun atmosphere with comedy shows upstairs, and there is a space large enough to accommodate groups of 20+. Our server Meganne was FABULOUS, checking in with us throughout our dinner as needed, and making sure we were happy with our meals. We shared 2 tasty desserts. I posted a picture of the Berry Tart ala mode. It was amazing! The Chocolate Peanutbutter pie was delish as well. Thanks Meganne for a wonderful dining experience! Gregory's will continue to be on our list of places to visit every year when we return to Cocoa Beach.
