Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
This listing's ratings cluster at the two ends of the scale. Reviewers who mention service rate this place 4.1 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. Pacing follows at 22% of reviews, where ratings average 4.2.
Behind those, freshness is raised in 17% of reviews (2.3 average). If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (14 reviews). Older reviews score better than newer ones (3.7 recent against 4.1 earlier), so direction is worth weighing alongside the average.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (95/100) with 5 basic violations. DBPR last walked in on January 27, 2026. That puts it ahead of 58% of graded kitchens in Brevard County. The citations behind that grade include nonfood-contact surfaces clean and bathrooms.
This is a listing where the two measures each tell half the story. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

Had the combo plate with a little of everything. The meat was juicy and tender; ribs and chicken just fell off the bone. The best part was the grilled corn on the cob. Sweet and juicy!
-
Absolutely horrendous service. Ordered via door dash, they forgot half my order and almost got hung up on while telling me to have the door dash driver return to pick up the forgotten items after the driver was long gone. Food was also bland and underwhelming. If I could give negative stars, I would

The burnt ends came out cold. They microwaved them after I asked if thats how they normally serve them, then they were ruined, turned to shoe leather. My baked potato seemed like it was 2 days old. Not very good. You should fire your cooks and find some that have passion for food. All in all, your food was disgusting and as a local I will never come back. Your prices are ridiculous for the the hot garbage your cooks are putting out.

The place is a gem!! Everything I had was amazing. The waiter Jerry was really attentive and kept our drinks filled and the food came out quickly.

Free parking, too much food, and a great atmosphere. They even serve your dog!!!
-
The service here was fantastic- the waitress went above and beyond chatting with us and being super friendly. The food was okay- the mac and cheese was so fake it didn't even taste like mac and cheese, and the ribs were a little dry. My friend had the burger and said it was nothing special either.

Love the outdoor seating, was visiting on vacation and glad I stopped. We eat gluten free and they were very accommodating to it. Food was great!
-
Our waitress was very nice and the food was very good. Our waitress answered our questions and was helpful on avoiding food allergens. They were also kind and brought my service dog water.

This place has some really good BBQ food, the location is great and really cool atmosphere when sitting outside. Anytime I have been here, the customer service has always been great as well.

Stopped by Slow and Low on Cocoa Beach for dinner, Hailey took wonderful care of us while provided us with great recommendations that we loved. Restaurant was bustling with energy and had great live music. Next time will ask for lean brisket if i am able, other than that everything was amazing! We will definitely be returning next summer!

Slow N Low is misleading, especially the high review rate, those people must be drunk. The food was below par and tasted as if it was not only cooked yesterday, but was underwhelming given the price and menu description. I was highly disappointed after spending my money there and will definitely not be returning.

We ordered thru DoorDash. With BBQ you just never know what you’ll get. The burnt ends had way too much sauce, they tasted ok but too wet, I would suggest they leave off the sauce, great burnt ends don’t need it, let the meat shine. The baby back ribs (no sauce) were very tasty, good smoke. Definitely only sauce on the side, lets the meat shine. The brisket was a little too much toward pot roast (wet) even with (no sauce), rather than a great brisket with just the right pull, but it had good flavor. The pretzel was a bit on the overdone side, which we actually like, so good job! Didn’t care for the broccoli salad, very strange taste. Garlic mash was good. The fried okra was ok, as was the collards. Enjoyed the key lime pie. Overall it’s ‘ok’ just not great BBQ.

Hard n dry ribs. Burnt turkey leg and tasteless sides . Very expensive n disappointing.

A must! Love the outdoor patio! Just all around wonderful!

do not eat here

Delicious food and friendly staff. They had a separate event going on which created a bit of distraction for staff but otherwise it was great.

Halli served us last night and did an incredible job! She learned both of our kids names quickly and connected well with them as well as provided everyone with very friendly and engaging service. To food was excellent! Their smoked chicken was phenomenal and I really liked their mustard bbq sauce. Overall, I loved the vibe and service. Will definitely come back next time I’m in Cocoa Beach.

Loved this place. Ate outside. The brisket is fantastic. Jerry took good care of us.

We stopped here after a day at the beach. The worst bbq we’ve ever had, the brisket tasted like it was sitting in a warmer all day and the sides were terrible and bland. The only ok thing was the cornbread muffins. We got one of each dessert and those were bad too. It was very disappointing. We spent a lot of money for 6 people that felt like it was wasted.

The food was AMAZING. We come from MA just for this meal. Ally is godsend. Would highly recommend

The meat for the ribs and wings were delicious, although 3 ribs and 5 wings for $26 is a little pricey. They could really work on the flavor of the sides, I had the mashed potatoes and greenbeans (I had 2 bites of both and didn't finish due to blandness). My wife had the mango smoothie which was so delicious that we ordered 1 to go. She had the chicken sandwich which was so so (5/10) and the coleslaw which was a bit better (7/10). Would definitely come back but would love to see more work put into the sides. Jerry was our server and he was extremely attentive and made the experience much more fun, very nice guy and great server. Overall it is good.

Outstanding BBQ. We have tried most all of it and are never disappointed. It is a must stop whenever we are in town. It is the only BBQ place we have found that is a regular stop because it is the only commercial BBQ that rivals mine.
