This listing's ratings cluster at the two ends of the scale. Service cuts both ways here, averaging 3.5 among the reviews that raise it. Pacing is the next most common subject, in 22% of reviews (averaging 2.2).
Of the 27 rated reviews, 19 sit at four stars or better and 6 at two or below. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (15 reviews).
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (95/100) with 1 intermediate and 2 basic violations. DBPR last walked in on February 13, 2026. Ranked against Brevard County, it is safer than 58% of the restaurants we score. The citations behind that grade include dishwashing facilities and food manager certification.
The honest summary is that the evidence is mixed on both sides. Everything above is computed from the 27 reviews reproduced below.

Very good American pub (The Village also has an English tavern and a British pub, as well as a German biergarten) in that sweetspot just north of casual, but a bit south of upscale, all right in historic Cocoa Village! Excellent Happy Hour almost every day of the week, a solid (and delicious) menu (salads, sandwiches, pizzas, pastas, and burgers), and amazing service (shout-out to the incomparable Josh), all in a cozy pub setting. There are some excellent restaurants in Cocoa Village, but Pub Americana needs to go into the rotation!

Loved the bartender Taryn!!
-
DC the best cook at this place 5/5 stars
-
Listed as double fried not even sure if they where friend once! Completely slimy! Also says "jumbo" there is nothing jumbo about these!

Met a friend for lunch here. I had the white pizza and my friend had a cheese burger. Great food and service. I'm always a supporter of restaurants that do not close in Mondays and Tuesdays in Cocoa.
-
In a nutshell everything was ok. Tables are small place is overly furnished. Food was fine.
-
Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Drove into Cocoa and went straight for the Best Burger anyway.

It was a good meal and a good time

Really disappointed with our experience at Pub Americana. The service was painfully slow — it took almost an hour to get our food. The burgers were mediocre at best, the fries came out cold, and while the first round of drinks was cold, the second round took so long they were warm by the time we got them. It honestly felt like the drinks were just sitting at the bar. We mentioned the issues to our waitress more than once, but she acted like she couldn’t really be bothered. For the prices they charge, we expected much better food and service. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.

Great team, great menu, top service 👌

This place turned me off by the front door in need of new paint. It actually looks dirty. We had a party of six and was seated immediately. The waitress was very nice and took our drink order first, once she returned she took our dinner order. The food came out timely except for my sister's hamburger came out 10 minutes after the other food was served. Our pizza was actually cold but tasted very good. One of my sisters had a shrimp.salad that was very good and presented very well. The waitress only returned once during our meal and forgot the hot sauce that was ordered as soon as the food was served. My wife had the garden salad was was unspectacular. Greens and cherry tomatoes only, no other toppings. The food could have been better in my opinion. But the pain problem was, they had a huge selection of draft beer without cold glasses. Beer at a restaurant must be cold to make it worth ordering. We probably will not return.

The burgers are out of this world good. Drinks are always tasty ;)

Food was excellent and the service was even better! There was an error on MY part when I ordered my food. They graciously made a new meal for me and they even brought out a snack for me while I waited for it. Just so very kind. Music and atmosphere are top notch.

Had Tarren as my server today. She was phenomenal! The food was fantastic and the service made it all the better.

If you have nothing good to say... Remain silent!😔👎👌

We are from out of state and came here with our small multi Pooh 7 1/2 pounds. We were sitting outside and the waitress told us that the dog had to be on the ground and was very adamant about it saying health department laws. I checked the Bevard County guidelines, which were the exact opposite of what she told us. Ran into some folks we talked to you about 15 minutes earlier told him about our incident. They said they no longer go to that restaurant as it’s become very unfriendly towards pets and people. From the internet: Yes, Brevard County is highly pet-friendly for dining in 2026, offering numerous restaurants with dog-friendly patios that often provide water bowls, treats, and specialized menus. Popular areas like Cocoa Village and many local breweries, including BeachFly Brewing Company, are known for welcoming pets. Cocoa Village: Features high walkability with many restaurants offering pet-friendly patios, such as The Tiny Turtle. We left AFTER waiting for the server to return with water seeing others being served that arrived wayyy after us.

Burger was bland but there pasta was amazing. Sweet potato fries were great as well, service was great. The water tasted horrible.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Pub Ammar! 🍔🔥 My burger was not only delicious but HUGE—definitely one of the best I’ve had. The fries were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the buffalo wings? Even better—hands down a must-try! The service was friendly and on point, making the whole visit even more enjoyable. On top of that, the outdoor dining area is excellent—great atmosphere to kick back and enjoy a meal. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area. I’ll definitely be back! 🍻

Great atmosphere, sitting outside offers a great view. Always very friendly staff. Great place to grab a bite and people watch.
-
Ordered a nice medium well burger with a fried egg and bacon, it's called the Hangover and man, to say the least, it was D-licious. Try it with their parmessan fries a drink and you'll be set for the rest of the day.
-
Best burgers in the world! Served with Parmesan cheese fries. Happy hr 3--6. Wing specials , call for dates

Love Pub Americana. Always fantastic food. Burgers are perfect (especially the Hangover Burger). Buffalo Mac and Cheese is and I quote myself, "to die for". A great place in Cocoa Village that needs to be seen and tasted.

Fantastic!

Sarah was great!!

We live nearby and wanted to give Pub Americana another chance, hoping things had improved. Unfortunately, it was the same experience as before. The service was slow and inattentive, and the burgers came out cold. When you’re paying restaurant prices, the food should at least arrive hot. What was most disappointing was the lack of concern when the issue was brought up. Since we live so close, we really wanted this to be a neighborhood place we could enjoy regularly, but after multiple similar experiences, it’s hard to justify going back.
-
Absolutely worst service anywhere I’ve ever eaten. We waited over an hour for our food and all we had were hamburgers. The waitress seemed bothered when we asked after 45 minutes if our food was coming out. And they were not even busy.
-
Waitress was super rude, lacked any respect and had absolutely no customer service whatsoever. Will never come back to this restaurant ever again
