CARIBBEAN JACKS

We had gator bites and two different pastas. Everything was so delicious and came out very quickly our waitress and everyone else was very nice. We loved the atmosphere 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend.

My new favorite place in Daytona.

Great casual dining on the intracoastal waterway with a nice view of Daytona Beach. Good food with a nice variety. The outdoor rocking booths are a novelty.

Great place! Tonight was our first time ever here and we will definitely be back. The staff was very friendly and the food was AMAZING!! And we got to watch the fireworks from over on the beach.

I had the Calypso Burger and it was one of the BEST BURGERS I have had in my life. The view was great and service was fast and friendly. AC was cold. We left the strip to come here because all of the restaurants there were so hot.

Food - Update. Just ok. For the price, not so special. Service - tend to have to wait quite a while when first seated. Service has been getting worse. Not sure what's going on but heading in the wrong direction. Atmosphere - This is their saving grace. great view, have heaters and fans and live music daily. Dog friendly.

The food was great and the staff was awesome we came with a bigger party and they charged us gratuity which is fine but it’s almost 33% so it turned out to be a good bit since it was all on one check other than that it was not bad

Wonderful atmosphere and food. Our server Jason T was amazing. Great guy with the kids and very attentive. We keep coming back and have had him a few times. Ask for him, he makes the experience even better!

Manager was a bit of a meathead with others in our party... but overall great. Loved it.

Food was good. Not too much flavor like your typical seafood restaurant, but good. Gator Bites we're not my favorite too much to chew, too tough compared to most places but my husband enjoyed that they were hearty pieces. Will visit again & try something different

I had really high hopes for this place...it has a decent atmosphere...it is right on the Intracoastal Waterway (Halifax River)...but the food and the price were not comparable to one another. The cost was expensive for food that was overcooked, seemed to be rushed to plated, and just wasn't very good. It could have been an off night for them. Would not recommend.

A little loud with the live music, we didn’t know they had that, but the food was delicious. Had the coconut shrimp and jerk chicken, oh and gator bites! Kids had a giant salad and a kids meal pasta, both loved the fries and food.

We visited the restaurant about 20 minutes before closing. Granted it was late but being from out of town we didn't realize they closed so early. As the lady was about to seat us another lady whispered something to her. Then we were told we could only stay until 9 p. m. I've worked at restaurants and definitely been to plenty but I've never been told that I would have to leave after getting there 20 min before closing at closing time on the dot. Most everywhere I've been if you arrive before closing you're able to eat your meal and leave. I even add an extra tip for any inconvenience. I wouldn't even expect to have the food properly prepared and served within that time frame. In addition to that we had to wait to be seated until they finished conducting business on a phone call and not once did we complain about having to wait. The time it took to walk by and see us standing waiting to be seated could have been used to seat us and take our orders. More than disappointed in this location's service. I couldn't rate the atmosphere or food because we never had the opportunity to experience it. Even if they'd offered to have us place our order to go would have been a better alternative which we'd have appreciated and accepted as more accommodating.

I’ve been to Caribbean Jacks in Daytona Brach about 5x now and today was the worst experience I’ve ever had. My husband and I went for dinner around 5pm, one girl (the one who seated us) welcomed us in, and then hubby and I were discussing with each other whether we wanted to eat inside or outside. The hostess never said a word to us except to be rude and tell us “well it’s hot outside & cool inside”. No laugh, no smile, and looked at me like I was stupid. I told her we wanted outside. She told the other lady to take us “up top” where it would be plenty cool. They spoke is some foreign language (didn’t sound like Spanish) and then she took us to a tiny table at the far end of the restaurant by the water that was barely at the edge of the roof, and the wind was blowing so hard, the menus wouldn’t even stay on the table. It then started to sprinkle, so we just got up and moved to another table under the roof. Our waiter was very nice and treated us great. The drinks were good, the Caribbean pickles were good, but the food was just ok. I was very disappointed in how we were treated at the front when we came in. We almost left. But the service and food is usually really good there. Not today. (with the exception of our waiter, he was great!). We won’t be back unfortunately.
