Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The newer reviews here read better than the older ones — 4.4 against 3.3. Opinion on how guests are treated is split — those reviews land at 3.7 on average. After that, speed of service appears most often — 27% of the corpus, averaging 2.8.
5 stars is the modal score, given by 14 of the 22 reviewers who rated. Conspicuously absent: cleanliness, which no reviewer brings up. 17 of 22 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 5 are two or lower.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (99/100), 1 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. That inspection was on May 1, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is downward over the records we hold. On health score it sits safer than 91% of the Volusia County restaurants we grade. Among the items recorded were food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Read the originals below and judge the pattern yourself.

Our waitress Amy was absolutely outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, beautiful smile, and made sure we had a wonderful experience. I really appreciated her hospitality and the company. The birthday menu was a thoughtful, unique touch and I’ll cherish it forever. Nobody has ever done anything like that for me before. Great service can make a meal memorable and she certainly did that! Not only are we talking about how amazing the food and atmosphere was but how sweet and comforting Amy made us feel!

Came here 15 months ago. Food was bad & service was slow. Was really hoping it would have gotten better. Came for Father’s Day. Steak went back twice & dinner took 3 hours from start of reservation til end of meal. Will not be back.

Austin was fantastic 😍

Anniversary meal was excellent

Chart house, the amazing luxury marina experience. This place is for more of the older crowd which is understandable. After all there’s not too many 20-30 year olds owning yachts lol. But the food is amazing, their old fashions are crisp and the staff is on point. Highly recommend :)

Really great staff, always watching the sunsets and the beautiful boats, great atmosphere..

My wife and I dropped by without a reservation Sunday afternoon. We asked to be seated in their downstairs bar. Had a wonderful view of the yachts in dock. Rather enjoyed the experience! Food was superior and the wine was great. Jonathan the manager welcomed us, thank you! We'll be back soon...

The Food, the staff, the atmosphere. I really enjoyed that evening. Thank you.

Last time I was there was about three years ago. The service was horrible. The food was even worse. One dish they brought out was completely wrong. They said they had Alaskan king crab legs. It was a pound and a half. Service said that they were very big they came out they were snow, crab legs. Very small manager came over and said what is the problem they are a pound and a half like it says we told them they are not Alaskan king crab legs. They are very small. He said that is our problem. They are a pound and a half the Craig labs got swept on the floor. They are just nasty over there other people.

We sat for long time, I mean at least 30 minutes probably longer between putting in our drink order and our food order after that things improved.

Everything was perfect! Great customer service and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!!!

The restaurant is lovely, we had a great seat in front of the window. The view was great as was the food . We both had a steak..the chocolate lava cake was lukewarm. I felt it had been sitting a while before it was brought over. When we asked for the bread basket , our waitress said the bread was off that evening and we couldn’t have it . Odd because we kept seeing other servers bring the bread service to other tables.

Being in the hospitality industry I am a little particular when it comes to service and dining, and my experience at the Chart House in Daytona Beach was not at all a disappointment. I asked the bartender Giselle, what she recommended….Shrimp Stack, Key West Grouper and Key Lime Pie. 10/10. What I really appreciated though was the constant positive attitude and welcoming smile that everyone who came into the restaurant got. There was a little craziness going on with a few people, but the bar staff just took it all in stride and never let down their positive vibe and smiles. Highly recommend this Chart House, and eat at the bar. Giselle and the rest of the team there will make sure your experience is first rate.

Loved it, will go back

We made a reservation to celebrate a college graduation and engagement. The food is delicious but the service is awful. We needed to make a change to the number of people on our reservation. I called three times and left voicemails and never got a call back. Luckily they accommodated us the day of. Our reservation was for 7:30. Our food didn’t come out until almost 9:30. One of our servers was incredibly rude. We asked for a glass for a beer and he literally rolled his eyes. That is just one example. The other server was very nice but not attentive to refills. We’ve been there several times but this will be our last.

The Sous Vide Roasted Chicken was not what we expected. Publix deli rotisserie is better. The Asparagus was not prepped and the tough fibrous ends were left on it. The service with Geo started out good but soon faded with no checking for drinks and no concern over issues. We thought we would try the Lava cake and a few minutes later found out the mini lava cake was the only one available. We ordered the mini and after 30 minutes with no update it, came out barely warm, crushed in the center with a Hershey syrup poured over and around it. Can't belive we made reservations 2 weeks ahead of time for this crap. We have eaten from Michelin 3 star to Waffle house. It doesn't matter what the Dining, just be true to your claim.

Great food, great service, easy parking! The food was really great, especially the meatball appetizer. It’s a must have.

Great spot with a nice atmosphere, pretty views and very good food!

We had an amazing anniversary dinner! Glyn was our server and he made the experience a 12 out of 10. He was knowledgeable and attentive. He gave amazing recommendations and the quality of the food did not disappoint. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great dinner with a great view.

The restaurant offers a solid wine selection, and the kimchi calamari was a standout dish. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the crab cakes were quite good as well. Dessert, however, was more of a mixed experience. The crème brûlée featured a wonderful trio of orange, strawberry, and vanilla flavors, but the texture was off; it was far too firm and lacked the silky consistency you expect from a proper crème brûlée. I also ran into an issue when paying, as using my gift cards along with my Landry card turned a simple checkout into a 20-minute process. Even with those drawbacks, the meal had enough high points that I would still return.

Worst Experience Ever! I had been to this restaurant probably 10 times and this by far was the worst experience as far as Service! To start I had made a reservation 2 weeks prior for 7. The table wasn’t ready had to wait 20 minutes. After sitting down took the waitress 10 minutes to bring water to the table then another 10 minutes to come by and ask to take the order! Didn’t offer bread had to ask for bread. The order took over an hour to cook. Then the food came out wrong. The waitress had a terrible attitude and was very rude and snappy! The General Manager came over and he was just as rude and arrogant. Was suppose to adjust the final price of the ticket. Left the restaurant and had to turn around to only realize after reviewing the itemized ticket that he still charged us for the desserts that we never got. So had to go back in to get another refund! Worst service experience. The only reason why I gave a one star is because as always the view will remain beautiful. As far as returning i wont waste my time ever going back! There is definitely much better service - quality tasting of food and pricing elsewhere! If I were you don’t waste your time and money go somewhere else and have a nice dinner!
