Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The headline average flatters this listing; the recent half does not. Reviews mentioning freshness average 3.8 stars, so it divides opinion rather than settling it.
The split is 8 positive to 5 negative across 13 rated reviews. 5 stars is the modal score, given by 5 of the 13 reviewers who rated. Conspicuously absent: portion size, which no reviewer brings up.
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (91/100), with 2 intermediate and 3 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That inspection was on March 31, 2026. The trend across inspections is improvement. Ranked against Volusia County, it is safer than 55% of the restaurants we score. Among the items recorded were nonfood-contact surfaces clean and plumbing installed & maintained.
This is a listing where the two measures each tell half the story. Everything above is computed from the 13 reviews reproduced below.

Food was ok

Went here to eat then me and my brother and sister walked out and threw up and got food posining worst experience ive ever had at a hibachi buffet

This is my go-to place for sushi anymore because it's very affordable to get all you can eat. If you're in the mood for it, you can also get hibachi and traditional Chinese food as part of your meal for a variety. The restaurant is fairly dark lighting. Sometimes the service can be slow even when they're not swamped. The price is worth what you can get as long as you don't go in when you're not hungry enough to make it worth your while.

This was an awesome Chinese Buffet! They had a variety on the buffet, hibachi Grill. And fresh sushi. The buffet was fresh. The lunch special was only 13.99 a person Everything was excellent and fresh on the buffet. We will definitely be When we are in Daytona!

Love this place. Best buffet in the area
-
Great buffet! Lots of options and my husband who is Chinese said this is better than our local Chinese buffet that we usually go to.

We came from Salt Springs Florida with parents. Website said $ 29.99 with Crab Legs walked in said $39.99 .Coconut shrimp was so breaded all stuck together breaded chicken was so thick couldn't taste the chicken. Mom and Husband got sushi and clams didn't taste good . Stuffed mushrooms was good.

We used to go there often when visiting Daytona Beach, we loved it! The food was so fresh, it was the best Chinese buffet we had gone to. We recently met my daughter and grandsons there for lunch, what a let down. The food was terrible, it was hard to find something to eat that we liked at all. The shrimp that you peel was no longer there l and they didn't have a senior discount any longer! We were also charged $7 for my 4 year old Grandson who didn't even eat. I've never seen a restaurant charge a 4 year old! We looked so forward to going there, it was such a treat, now we'd never go back.

The prices changed now it is 39.99 for adults, crab legs and children’s are 24.99 They say they can’t change it on their website which they can take a picture and show the prices is changed. Some other food is good. Some is not so great. I won’t be back. I don’t eat that much. You cannot buy a to go plate up there and eat it inside. You have to take it with you but when you’re a senior citizen, you don’t eat that much. They don’t have discounts for them either. without crab legs it’s 17.99

It's typical buffet food. Went late, 8pm but there was hot food still coming out.
