LEANH'S CHINESE RESTAURANT

Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
4.4 stars from 18 reviews, with the reasoning pulling in different directions. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 4.8 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour.
More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 13 of 18. 14 of 18 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 1 are two or lower. Behind those, serving size is raised in 17% of reviews (4.7 average).
On the health side, the most recent DBPR inspection returned a C (70/100) with 3 high-priority and 6 basic violations — middling, much like the reviews. That result dates from June 4, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. Ranked against Volusia County, it is safer than 13% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: cross-contamination.

Portions are massive. Great selection of cuisines from multiple counties.

I’m impressed by this place. The service was very good, and I ordered Wonton Soup—my favorite—which was delicious. Everything in the photo cost $12.73, including tax. What do you think?

Leanh's Chinese Restaurant was absolutely phenomenal! The service here is truly top-tier. Our drinks were never more than half empty, and every employee checked on us throughout our meal. The teamwork and unity among the staff is incredible and makes sure everything runs smoothly. What impressed me even more was seeing the owner helping on the floor because they were down a team member. I love an establishment that leads by example! Everyone was so pleasant, attentive, and genuinely kind. Our table was cleared multiple times, and they even kept us stocked with napkins, something that's surprisingly rare these days! The food was outstanding, and the portions were huge. Honestly, it's the best Chinese food I've ever had. We ordered three Jumbo Shrimp appetizers, Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls, Wonton Soup, Pork Fried Rice, Spare Ribs, Shrimp Lo Mein, Pepper Steak, General Tso's Chicken, and Shrimp in Lobster Sauce. Every single dish was amazing. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, perfectly cooked, and made to order. The presentation was beautiful, and you could tell real care went into every plate. The food was filling, delicious, and exceeded our expectations. This entire experience was perfect from start to finish. If you're looking for a guaranteed delicious meal, a great atmosphere, and exceptional service, this is absolutely the place to go. I can't compliment them enough. Thank goodness this restaurant is here! Highly recommended!

Food is very good, but not great. I'll return and try another menu item when I'm in the neighborhood.

We got the pu pu platter take out. Food was good and hot. Tasted pretty good. The wings didn't seem cooked all the way and the spare ribs were super tough but the fried shrimp, crab rangoon and teriyaki skewered beef was delicious. We also had plenty of duck sauce, hot mustard and soy sauce along with fried rice and fortune cookies. Staff is super friendly.

We love this place!

I ordered take out, roast pork egg foo young, it was so salty I could not eat it. Every other time I've eaten there the food was awesome.

Look I love leanhs, food is always great and I usually never have any issues, but I came in with my girlfriend today and I was eating my steak fried rice and I take a bite and I chew on something that feels like plastic and turns out it was plastic, now I get it mistakes happen but I take a bite of her food and I chew on something that feels like a damn tonsil stone, and I’m almost convinced it was. Maybe I should use some of those lucky numbers in the fortune cookie because back to back bites with tonsil stones and plastic must be a first. But yeah service was good, food was pretty good other than that and yeah I’m coming back either way
