What diners say — our read

The most recent reviews here are worse than the older ones — 2.3 against 3.7. Service is the sore point: those reviews average 2.5. Whether it is worth the money is the next most common subject, in 20% of reviews (averaging 3.0).

If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (8 reviews). The split is 13 positive to 7 negative across 20 rated reviews. One subject never comes up here: how clean the place looks.

The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (90/100) with 1 intermediate and 7 basic violations. DBPR last walked in on March 16, 2026. The trend across inspections is decline. On health score it sits safer than 51% of the Volusia County restaurants we grade. The citations behind that grade include food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and storage & handling of clean equipment and utensils.

Neither signal is decisive on its own here, which is why both are shown. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

$100 for Hills course, no aerification alert on their website. Mounds of sand on the green, couldn’t even putt, we had to move our balk around on the green because there was so much sand. Water filled bunkers. No water for players on the course. Everyone was rude. From the time we arrived, through Checkin, no a single “hello”. First bad review I’ve ever given for a place. Will not be back.

Greatest job ever! These people are so professional and kind. A truly great experience.

  • June 21, 2026

Both courses are tough and demanding tests of your game. If any part is lacking the courses will show it. On the Hills course, target golf is critical to score well. On the Jones course, being in a good position off the tee will help with scoring. The staff is great, the range is always in excellent shape as is the short game pitch and chip area. However their greens are lacking a bit. They don’t roll consistently from hole to hole and are not in LPGA quality conditions. Might just be the time of year, but minus the greens this place is excellent.

Greens on the Jones course were just aerated and starters offered no discount. Bunkers were like cement and very ill maintained.. Not worth the $120 we paid. Played munis much better than this.

  • June 20, 2026

Jones Course was in terrible condition with punched greens, yet they charged $110. Even with that amount, there is no Marshall in sight and the round takes 6 hours. Complete ripoff. I have zero respect for courses that are this greedy.

I was completely shocked to find there were no water coolers/fountains on the Hills course. There was only one beverage cart attendant working and she was unable to make rounds quick enough with a full course. My entire group was getting hit pretty hard by the heat and the two or three water cooler stands that were empty (no coolers) were a slap in the face when we drove past. I could see this flying in the winter, but not in the summer down here.

Greens were good, fairways were nice.Bunkers were in poor condition

Great course. Loved playing here. Highly recommend.

Very... Tough...Course... keep it in play at all cost. If it lands close to to jungle, it's gone. I really like the layout, but not for the faint of heart. I would definitely play it again, and, hopefully play more under control. Would give it 5 stars, but not in prime shape in early May. Greens were plenty good, I just want to see more green color.

Nice course, very good shape. Went as part of an event scramble. Early morning cart staff a little disjointed by using different carts to go to the range, then changing carts to play the course. Also had to check 3 times to get my rental clubs which limited warmup time. Food provided on their patio grill - burgers and hot dogs, but pretty good spread. Greens fees seemed reasonable for a course of that quality.

Great experience, the course is in good condition and the greens putted true.

  • April 29, 2026

The course is in pretty good shape. My beef, and what will likely keep me from playing here any longer, is this is the 3rd time in a row where we book a tee time at $82, but upon arrival we're charged $105 per player. Not only is this practice deceiving and shady, the course/round is definitely not worth that price.

    Great place to play

Don’t wast your time or money…. Terrible staff!! They couldn’t care less about the five and a half hour round we had today. I went into the pro shop after a 2:40 front nine and they did nothing. No on course ranger, started did not care as neither did the pro shop. I am positive that they jam groups in between the 10 minute tee times. Most holes had three groups on at a time. They really should be ashamed to be associated with such a premium brand like the LPGA.
