Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Worth separating two things on this listing: how the food is received, and how the kitchen inspects. The staff is the sore point: those reviews average 2.2. How long an order takes follows at 38% of reviews, where ratings average 1.4.
The split is 2 positive to 10 negative across 13 rated reviews, with 1 in the middle. More reviewers landed on 1 star than any other score — 5 of 13. What nobody raises here is whether it is worth the money — it goes unmentioned across all 13 reviews.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (100/100), nothing cited at the most recent DBPR visit. That result dates from January 21, 2026. That puts it ahead of 100% of graded kitchens in Volusia County. No violations were recorded at that visit, which is the cleanest result available.
The weak part of this listing is the experience, not the sanitation — those are different failures. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Clean and friendly service.
-
Shitty that they have the drive through packed with people and they aren't taking orders. The lady is talking through the mic but only to tell you that it'll be another minute. After 30 minutes of sitting at the box we left.
-
Extremely slow service, waited 20 mins with one car in front of us to start with, but food was good and they were nice albeit unprofessional. After trying to give us the wrong order, they then ignored us to take orders and, I kid you not, was casually sipping her own drink instead of confirming what our order was for another 5 minutes until we waived them down. She did seem sweet, seems like poor management.

No type of customer service training . A greeted the worker didn’t even get an eye contact stood at the front to get some napkins for like 5 min . All 4 workers walk by me didn’t even made I contact I had to yell out excuse me 5 times before I had to yell out HELLO and made seem like I was bothering them at their job HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THIS ONE Needs to do better

If you don't mind waiting in line in the drive through for 30 minutes this is the place for you. Slowest service ever and great for wasting time as long as you have the extra to spare!

Pick up the pace. No matter what time of the day, full drive thru to only 2 cars, this McDonald’s is gonna drag. Like cmon. People have lunch breaks.

WE WERE REAR ENDED SITTING IN THE DRIVE THRU. OMG!!! Service was uber slow. Never did get my food...

They frequently forget items on your order

The food here is always extremely well done (not in a good way). We end up coming to this location once a month due to travel and it’s always the same :( Our hashbrowns were nearly rock hard from over frying and our McGriddles were some how burnt/tough as well as tiny, like they had shrunk in the process of cooking. If you’re traveling from south of Florida and having to go through Daytona to get on 95, I advise to not eat at this location.

Typical McDonald's, was ok nothing more. But it's McDonald's is it ever going to be more that a three Star?
-
No soda machine out front. So you have to hassle the workers for refills. They do not like it and we do not like it. McDonald's Corp. knows this and exploits it. Boooooooo.
-
It's McDonald's....
-
Experience was terrible waited 20 mins for food, and they all had attitudes.
