Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Reviews and inspection point the same way here. Service tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.0 stars. After that, whether food comes out hot appears most often — 28% of the corpus, averaging 4.4.
If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (14 reviews). One subject never comes up here: how clean the place looks. Of the 18 rated reviews, 16 sit at four stars or better and 2 at two or below.
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (94/100), with 1 intermediate and 3 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. DBPR last walked in on April 30, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is declining, which argues for reading the older reviews with caution. On health score it sits safer than 65% of the Volusia County restaurants we grade. The citations behind that grade include dishwashing facilities and garbage and refuse.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Everything above is computed from the 18 reviews reproduced below.

Truly a fun , Raw Bar/ Seafood experience. Oysters , clams, shrimp and the freshest seafoods. They've been an amazing destination for many decades.

Hands down the best oyster bar around—no comparison. The service was outstanding, the selection was impressive, and every dish was absolutely spectacular. We ordered the Oysters Rockefeller, Oysters Fitzpatrick, the Volcano Tuna Poke Bowl, and the New England Clam Chowder. Every single bite was spot on. The oysters were fresh and perfectly prepared, the poke bowl was packed with flavor, and the clam chowder was rich, creamy, and loaded with clams. If you're an oyster lover, this place is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

Food is great here oyster pub is Daytonas legendary oyster spot. However the drinks. I wish there was a menu to take a look at. And if we have special drink requests please be consistent with the same alcohol when pouring new drinks. If we didn’t know any better we could have been served two different types of vodka without being told. More transparency is all I’m saying. Besides that the visit is a great refresher. Thanks oyster pub!

The Chargrilled Oysters were amazing!! The peel and eat shrimp were great, the beer was cold & frequent

Our waitress Breanna did not write down our orders. Brought the wrong beer and the wrong food. She brought us the Mahi platter when I ordered the tacos. When she gave me the platter, I told her I ordered the tacos (she didn’t have a notepad, when our table ordered three food items grabbed a napkin from the table behind us to write down our order). When my tacos were brought out by the cook, the cook was rude asked who “changed their mind”. I had clearly ordered the mango tacos and told her so. When I was given the bill, the waitress charged the higher plate (the one I did not order and did not eat). Very, very poor service from the waitress to the cook who brought the food out with an attitude. The food was also not the best especially with such poor service.

The Oyster Pub is a solid Daytona Beach seafood spot with food that’s way better than basic bar food. The char-grilled oysters were the standout — hot, buttery, smoky, and packed with flavor. Whatever sauce they use needs to be bottled. The New England clam chowder was rich, creamy, and seriously good. I also loved the Island wings, crispy Brussels sprouts, fried calamari, and Southwest egg rolls. I tried the Maine lobster roll with sweet potato fries too. It was okay, but the oysters, chowder, wings, and appetizers were the real winners for me. Great casual spot for oysters, seafood, wings, and drinks in Daytona Beach. I’d definitely go back.

I had the food delivered so I don't know anything about the service or atmosphere but the food was fantastic, would recommend.

Crab cakes were delicious! Great bar staff! Plenty of TVs for all the games.

Fantastic! I had the shrimp platter and it was so yummy. My husband had stuffed oysters and oysters Rockefeller, he said 9.5 out of 10. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Great food and place

We had lunch at the Oyster Pub today. One of the best meals we've ever had in Daytona Beach. Being from Massachusetts, I rarely get NE Clam Chowder in FL, but it was phenomenal! We had a Cesar salad that was perfect with shaved parmesan cheese on top. Yummy! Finished up with Crab Cakes. Best ever!!!

It is a sports bar in a dive neighborhood that somehow has amazing food. The service is attentive, friendly, checks in on you often. Maybe not high end service but they keep you happy. The kitchen is fast. The grilled oysters are amazing. Prices very reasonable.

Didn't have to wait for a table because it was pretty empty but had to wait quite some time for a server. Jasmine tried to find us a waiter until she came and took our order herself. Burger and other fried foods were over fried and the cheese on my oysters were burnt. Sodas were all flat.

Large and tasty oysters! Highly recommend the coconut shrimp, best in my life!
-
The oysters were delicious. I will be returning.
