Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Reviews and inspection point the same way here. Reviewers who mention portion size rate this place 5.0 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. Front-of-house follows at 22% of reviews, where ratings average 5.0.
If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (19 reviews). The split is 21 positive to 0 negative across 23 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (90/100), 1 high-priority and 2 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. DBPR last walked in on January 22, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. Ranked against Volusia County, it is safer than 51% of the restaurants we score. The citations behind that grade include handwashing and wiping cloths.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

Santorini is one of our all-time favorite eateries in DeLand. My wife loves the Athenian Chicken and i always order the Gyro Platter with a Greek salad (their Greek dressing is awesome), and tzatziki and pita wedges.
-
The jumbo shrmp with pasta was awesome! Wonderful flavor! I would definitely order it again. However the Athenian chicken was not flavorful. The lemon potatoes were the best thing of the dish- wonderful!! Unfortunately it took them 2 times to deliver that order correctly. Brought 2 complete dishes that they had to take back because it was not what we ordered. I hate the thought they had to throw it out because it was delivered to our table.

Not authentic Greek food, but they try. Wish the had ozo to wash the food down!

Who had time for taking pictures, some of the best food I've ever had was sitting right there and nobody was eating it so I had to pull out a knife and fork and get to it. The food sparkles in your mouth and your tongue oh boy that was so good. It was truly amazing.

Our must eat place on a DeLand visit. There is no better Greek food. Mousaka, lemon potatos, gyro plate, great Greek wines to compliment the meal.

Amazing food.

Our favorite restaurant in Deland. Great Octopus! Yes, you read that right!
-
Enjoyed it a lot. I would certainly return. Very busy. I guess others agree.
-
Great food. Fast friendly service. Small inside dinning. Seats approximately 30 inside and 4 outside. Parking is in front or city lot. Located on the main street in DeLand.
-

-
Best Greek place in DeLand i highly recommend this place it is a bit small but great with everything else
-
So Good I love their Greek salad gyro and especially the Lemmon Potato yum yum
-
Amazing food and good portions.

All I can say is that their Gyro is loaded with lots and lots of tender lamb that is not over cooked, or dried out from hanging on the spicket all day. You can also share it with another person... that is, if you want. Because their Gyro is pretty big ! And their pita that wraps it all up was so soft and fresh ! Now, their Dolmades was the best I've had. You can actually taste the flavor of the grape leaf that enhances the rice inside. I've tried Dolmades at many other Mediterranean restaurants, and for most of them, the grape leaf didn't have any flavor - But, it should. And Santorini does not disappoint.

Place fires on all cylinders! Food great! Service spot on and bathrooms impeccably clean!! We found this place while sitting in traffic on I-4 and decided to eat instead of sitting bumper to bumper! So glad we did! We live pretty far away but will make it back when in the area!
-
Absolute delicious food and great service. Was part of a bigger party and they accommodated us for dinner service. I ordered the clam chowder and gyro platter and the platter was a hefty portion - definitely a good thing! The food tasted amazing. Loved how much tzatziki came with the dish. Great environment inside, fun seeing other people order the Saganaki!

The food was delicious, I was in heaven the entire time. Service was great, the restaurant its self is quite small so there is limited seating, showing up on a saturday night around five many people had to wait for a table, but I promise it is well worth the wait. Great portion sizes great flavor and wonderful service. I will definitely be returning over and over again.
