It is a beautiful restaurant with a warm relaxing atmosphere. The service was great and we lived the piano music.

This was an amazing experience! Recommend highly! The venue is historic and beautifully Maintained. The dining areas are nicely organized with great seating and lovely views. The service and wait staff are remarkable. We had an amazing lunch with beautifully prepared meals. Crabcake appetizer, shrimp pasta fra-diablo, even the banana pie dessert, exceptional. Not to be missed! Will be back!

Had a wonderful family dinner. The food, drinks, ambience and service were all exceptional. One of the best dining experiences I have had in a very long time.

We had a really nice night. I made reservations for an Anniversary Dinner. It was our first time visiting and was a little bit of a drive for us from Ocala but it was worth it. Our Salmon and Redfish dinners were excellent. We will definitely be back.

The entire dinner experience was excellent, including the warm welcome, superior service, comfort, lake view, delicious dinner and overall unique ambiance. Great choice for a special occasion. Note: The filet dinner was perfect! Highly recommend.

Food delicious as always. Lovely piano music. Our server Tatum was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I got the impression that she may have been new, but she did a great job. The maitre d was friendly and attentive. Rose Plantation is a favorite when we have guests. The renovations and plans for expansion are wonderful. It was great to meet the owner too!

Feedback received 5 stars From the warm welcome of the general manager to our waitress, we were taken care of very well. Loved the menu items and I was surprised by the generous amount of lobster in my omelet. Lobster bisque was wonderful as well. The windowed porch room was charming. Looking forward to another chance to brunch at the Rose Plantation!

Took my mom to dinner for her birthday and completely enjoyed the experience from walking to the door to our leftovers the next day. We had a brief history when we walked in, were able to choose our table on the veranda, and our waitress was quickly at our table. We enjoyed the crab cake for our appetizer, it was large enough to share. I had the candied garlic salmon with orange glaze and hope it never leaves the menu, it was amazing! We're making plans to go back to try their lunch menu!

Excellent food and service.

Our first visit and we were not disappointed. They are adding a roof top bar so there was some construction noise but they quit shortly after arrival and it did not bother us. In fact we are exciting to see the future addition as an option. Food was cooked perfectly. I had the salmon dinner which was flavorful. Hubs had the pork chop, he said was very tasty. Their sangria drink special was delicious and refreshing. Service was excellent. We had the best table view of lake because we arrived early for their dinner service. Has a dress code but it is reasonable and easily followed. Highly recommend.

We were greeted by a few nice hosts. The staff were very friendly, but considering how quiet it was they were a little bit disorganised, even though they thought they were the best waiter in the world. The coffee was cold because they put it in a tea cup, which has a large surface area. And when we ask about it, they said, oh, it was hot when I left the kitchen. I don't think the crab cakes had a lot of crab in them. They were a bit of a letdown. I misordered and ended up with an excellent main dish. I can highly recommend the prime rib sandwich au jus. This just hit the spot and was big enough to share. I wanted to order the mediterranean prime rib, but I think there was some confusion. I'm very happy with this result. We had a dubai chocolate cheese cake which was quite nice. I think they should have left it out of the fridge.A bit longer, so it would have more flavour. The waiter in his trainee forgot to give us cutlery.After taking it away with the appetiser. I mentioned that I grabbed cutlery off another table. There was no acknowledgement for forgetting the cutlery. There was maybe only four other people in the restaurant besides us 2. I would be afraid that they cannot handle a large groups or there would be a long delay in your meal. The location is pretty. My mom even spotted a gator swimming across the lake.

Excellent! The Rose Plantation is quickly evolving into a world-class venue. I'm so excited to see all of the changes happening and look forward to sitting on the roof top deck this summer!

What a lovely dining experience. Great service, drinks and upscale food options. The view is beautiful. The history and tour by the owner make this a must place to visit!

The Rose Plantation is a must visit for special occasions or just a great meal. Looking forward to the opening of the upstairs bar area overlooking the lake later this summer

Excellent evening. Winewas perfectly chilled , cocktails were delicious. Food was excellent , crab cake , pork chop (pls keep on the menu) skillfully prepared. Dessert was at home and every bite was so decadent and satisfying. Rose Plantation is a gem ! Can't wait to see the new outside space , music coming in as you walk up means everything if you know you know , and the guitar playing in the dining room was so fun , and played a rare Chicago song for my husband . All was over the top in such a great way . Best Food and experience since leaving RI .

Alena, our server, was excellent and the food was delicious. An elegant and leisurely atmosphere with an old school charm made our Mothers Day dinner a special treat. We have visited the Rose Plantation for both dinners and brunches. Never disappoints. We’ve also see the expansion and they have kept to the intended story of this beautiful place. We have come again and again.
