What diners say — our read

Worth separating two things on this listing: how the food is received, and how the kitchen inspects. The staff cuts both ways here, averaging 3.2 among the reviews that raise it. What it costs follows at 22% of reviews, where ratings average 1.5.

Whether food comes out hot shows up in 17% of reviews as well, averaging 1.3. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 8 of 18. 8 of 18 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 8 are two or lower.

On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (99/100), with 1 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That result dates from March 10, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is upward over the records we hold. That puts it ahead of 90% of graded kitchens in St. Lucie County. What the inspector actually wrote up: floors, walls, ceilings clean & maintained.

If how long an order takes is what you care about, the reviews are the better guide here; if it is the kitchen, the grade is. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

debbie was very rude to my whole family and the server was on a mission to make my trip horrible. she must have had something going on but that’s not my fault. i paid $100 for jsut me and all the food was cold and the appetizer came out at the same time as my entree. it was my sons birthday and was looking forward to the meal which was ruined by the team. never coming back don’t waste your time on this overpriced horrible experience

Absolutely horrible energy in here. I try to give people some slack especially service people as i am in food service dealing with ppl everyday. our food was 25 minutes late we’ve been in there for like an hour now food came out and there WAS A FREAKING HAIR IN MY FOOD . said something about it and the server pushed it off like nothing got the manager over named debbie and idk she was trying to play some mind games with me. didn’t work lol idk what’s wrong with these people some type of ego it’s okay to stand up for yourself but when ur clearly in the wrong admit to it. Need new owners. Need new servers. there is nothing good about this place. born and raised in fort pierce never thought this place could come to this 🤢🤮

A Great Stop and Chew Destination! Tried a few things, the Smoke fish dip, followed by a lobster bisque. Next the Caesar Salad was good croutons should be more seasoned but all around delicious! Next we had a Mahi Mahi sandwich had fries and slaw. I ingested the prime rib large and scared. Crab topped with hollandaise and Asperagus. Great staff! Go grab some if you are in the area! Thanx Chuck!

We couldn’t wait to have dinner bc the food was always excellent; butI don’t know what’s happened. I ordered fish spread & I couldn’t taste any fish in it, was closer to tuna fish - almost flavorless. The Mussels were supposed to be in a garlic butter sauce and it barely had any garlic flavor. Then dinner came, no one had cleared the appetizers plates and the server (not our waitress - a runner). was trying to put the plates of food down and we had the other dishes still sitting in front of us. My friend ordered a shrimp basket and I ordered the shrimp dinner and you could barely tell the difference between the two. I guess it’s just the amount of shrimp. The shrimp batter was definitely different than what it used to be & there used to be a lot more shrimp on the dinner and it was just not the same quality that it used to be !! Overall we were disappointed & not worth the money spent. I am very shocked because the dinners and meals have always been very good, but not in our experience. We won’t be going back. We’re foodies; & the quality was just not there!

My Husband and I visited on Saturday June 13th. We used our gift card we got as a gift 75.00. Our lunch was about 150. Angela was very snarly and said our gift card has expired just over a year. She would only honor 35.00 of it. Our friends bought this for us and paid for it. They already got their money. The federal government says this is illegal even as old as 5 or more years. If you are going to sell gift cards honor them or don't offer them . This is theft of services. It's not over. The staff was amazing . Sea bass great, my scallops if thats what they were or fish cut to look like. I cut into each scallop and my lightly battered scallops separated from the batter. I did not eat any of the batter just the suspect scallop which I'm getting tested.

Disappointed with the shrimp linguini. It was so heavy with all the oil. My husband had the prime rib and ordered medium rare but came more medium. Loved the vibe though.

Party of 7, appetizers were delicious but the entrée’s fall flat. We all got different stuff and were all very disappointed. Lacked flavor and fish was tough for 3 people. Staff was nice and the place is beautiful but the food was not worth the money at all

Our meals were perfect and delicious! Carol, our server, was amazing as well. And we will certainly be asking to sit with her at our next visit!

Food was underwhelming and extremely overpriced for the quality and portion size. The Stuffed Grouper, which is advertised as their signature dish, was surprisingly small, and I definitely wish I had asked about the market price beforehand. Overall, the experience did not justify the cost. Ridiculously overpriced IMO

Born and raised in Fort Pierce, Chuck’s has always been a longtime favorite, which is exactly why we chose it to celebrate my daughter’s graduation with family visiting from out of town. Unfortunately, the experience was terrible from start to finish. The poor customer service began before we even arrived. I called earlier in the day to ask about outdoor seating for our reservation, and the woman I spoke with was rude and dismissive, immediately snapping they were “fully booked.” When we arrived, the restaurant was nowhere near full and there were multiple outdoor tables available. From there, the service only got worse. Drinks were forgotten every time we reordered drinks, entrées took over an hour despite the restaurant not being busy, food arrived cold, sides were missing, the green beans came later, because they "weren't done in time" . Three people ordered the NY Strip special and the steaks were so tough on chewy they could hardly be eaten. What stood out most was the complete lack of professionalism and accountability from management. No manager ever checked on our table despite obvious issues and multiple untouched plates. When I later called to calmly explain how disappointing the experience had been, the manager was rude, dismissive, and unapologetic. Her responses were essentially, “What do you want me to do?” and “I can’t help you.” "You should have said something while you were here." Truth be told she was more focused on gossiping with other employees at a…

Went today for the first time. The atmosphere is amazing find out they have BOGO from opening until 6 We were there at 3. I ordered 3 drafts which were on the happy hour special. Well went to pay and was charged for all 3 beers. Said something to the waitress and I am the dumb one. Im like I had three beers didnt drink the last free one I should only have 2 beers on my bill. Well she didn't fix it and will NEVER back which is a shame.
