Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Reviews and inspection point the same way here. Reviewers who mention cleanliness rate this place 5.0 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour.
Newer reviews score better than older ones (4.7 recent against 4.0 earlier), so direction is worth weighing alongside the average. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (12 reviews). One subject never comes up here: plate size.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (95/100) with 1 intermediate and 2 basic violations. DBPR last walked in on May 5, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is downward over the records we hold. That puts it ahead of 83% of graded kitchens in Lake County. The citations behind that grade include employee health knowledge and clean clothes.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Read the originals below and judge the pattern yourself.

Good food
-
The food is decent and priced right, the only thing I can say negative, is that we waited a bit for the other 2 people's food that was with us, I was done before they got theirs.
-
Great food... only thing, if you eat outside.. lot of bugs and flies.. No indoor dining, just outside seating.

This place is so authentic and delicious!! Best to-go in the area for sure. We have tried their pincho special as well as the a la cart options, they're all good!! God bless you and your family for bringing this special place to us.

Authentic PR food at it's best. They're beans are absolutely delicious! They don't skimp on the meat in their pastelillos or their Pinchos which is rare for most places. There is no indoor seating and a lot of traffic outside but grab one of their ICE COLD beers to go along with your meal, grab a table outside and you will feel like you are on the island. The biggest complaint I have, is that they are not open enough hours but I guess that's a me problem 🤷🏼♀️

Nada mal. Siento que están como que tostados los pinchos cuando normalmente su textura debería ser tierna, pero no dejan de saber rico. Me gustó mucho el precio del combo. Por 10 dólares tenía 2 pinchos, pan, tostones y refresco. Bastante accesible. Además, las empanadillas estaban riquísimas.

Food was good, prices ok

-
buenisima la comida y el servicio tambien
-
Beware. Business states online open until 6pm and they weren't open and have an OPEN sign out front which is not accurate either because they are closed. Unpredictable business.

Love the morcilla with gandules. Pigeon peas are my favorites! Such an amazing crunch as well Got the skewers one pork one chicken and I definitely prefer the chicken better and want to some back to try the other sauces as well!
-
