What diners say — our read

An average is a poor summary when the underlying reviews look like this. Opinion on the staff is split — those reviews land at 3.8 on average.

The split is 16 positive to 3 negative across 21 rated reviews, with 2 in the middle. What nobody raises here is serving size — it goes unmentioned across all 21 reviews. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 13 of 21.

On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (94/100), with 6 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That result dates from February 20, 2026. That puts it ahead of 57% of graded kitchens in Osceola County. What the inspector actually wrote up: in-use food dispensing utensils properly stored and clean clothes.

With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

I've been to this exact Cheddar's multiple times, about twice a month. On my last visit, my family and I experienced poor service from the waitress at our table. Not only that, but when the food arrived, my steak was cold, and the fries were cold and soggy. My daughter's chicken alfredo pasta was very dry. Every time we asked for something, the waitress seemed to get annoyed. I couldn't even eat the steak. We ended up calling the manager and asked for the check for what we had eaten. She took care of the bill, and I let her know that I am a regular customer at this restaurant, but this time it was horrible.

The hostesses gave more service at our table than the servers. Lovely ladies!

Although we were sat next to a loud baby, they did ask us if we would like to move. Which is what gives a 5 star rating. The fact, that they saw that we may be irritated by the loud noise they were more than accommodating and ready to move us. I didn't mind the mouse because it was just a happy loud baby which Is joyful and celebrating! He wasn't doing anything out of the norm but the staff were super hospitable and kind. I love the atmosphere and food was superb.

Dear Guest Relations, I am writing to formally report a serious issue regarding my dining experience at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, located at 875 Osceola Parkway, Kissimmee, Florida. On June 13, 2026, my daughter and I had lunch at your restaurant and ordered fish, shrimp, spinach dip, fried chicken, and cheese fries. Shortly after our meal, both of us became ill. I suffered from vomiting, severe stomach pain, and diarrhea, which has led me to believe that the food may have been contaminated or improperly prepared. I contacted the restaurant and spoke with the manager, Ray Owens, who advised me that he would escalate the matter to upper management and that I would receive a response within 48 hours. However, I found his handling of the situation to be dismissive and lacking the level of concern warranted by the seriousness of the incident.

The bartender who is working today, Saturday, June 13, is the most arrogant and decorous person I have ever met in a place of food. I only asked for a plastic cup so I could take what I had left of my lemonade, and after answering me with his head and hostile gaze, he ignored me and went to do things with other clients, passing it by the side to the plastic cups 3 times and ignoring me. It is a pity that staff without tact to serve clients and without empathy, work in these places. I never pass a Cheddar again.

Ok so get a little bit of this. So I went to this particular restaurant. Cheddars in Osceola On 05/31/26. I order a chicken sandwich. First of all. They were out of fry’s. Really. How a restaurant is going to be out of fry’s. Insane. Ok so we ordered. And we sub the fry’s for something else. Sandwich took way long. Then the sandwich arrived to the table. In something tell me to cut the sandwich in half. Ok so I cut it in half. In surprisingly. The. Meat was undercooked. The chicken was undercooked. Can you think about how frustrating is that not fry’s. And chicken. Raw. Very ridiculous. Insane. Unbelievable. So we wait and wait for someone to come to the table. So we can say something. About it. Finally after 15 or 20 minutes so. Someone came. Believe it was a manager. He probably. New or tired. To deal with complaints. Because apparently the table right. Next to us had in issue as well. But for him wasn’t a big deal serving undercooked chicken because. I don’t know you but to me. It is. Because you can really get Ill by eating. Raw chicken. So if you go to this cheddars or any. Cheddars. You really have to be careful. Ok but also. Not offers from the manager at all for the inconvenience. At all.

The food was excellent. My only complaint was the service. There was only one server for the whole section but she was doing her best.
