Save your time...HORRIBLE experience. Ugh. Stood there for 3 weeks awaiting for an apartment approval. Customer service welcomed me with a dry, unprofessional behavior and so did an infestation of German roaches. Every generation appeared on the last night, but saw a few throughout different rooms. Requested another room with no success. No understanding whatsoever! I was told the very next day that I was no longer welcomed nor book another reservation because of my verbal complaint. Now, I'm warning EVERYBODY.

I arrived around 9-10am after driving 22 hours, desperate for a few hours of sleep. Every hotel wanted a full night’s rate for just a few hours, which already felt unfair. At Econo Lodge I explained I’d been driving 22 hours, was extremely exhausted, and couldn’t wait until their 3pm check-in. Issues started immediately: 1. *Unsafe environment*: The lobby completely reeked of marijuana. I don’t judge personal use, but a business conducting transactions while high is unprofessional and unsafe. 2. *Incoherent staff*: The clerk seemed impaired — couldn’t follow conversation, made me repeat myself constantly, and was “only half there.” 3. *Deposit scam attempt*: I begged not to pay a full night for a few hours. He then demanded a $75 “deposit.” The receipt he gave me didn’t mention a deposit at all — just the charge. When I asked him to note it was a deposit, he refused and said “they’ll know in the morning.” I even explained that I had been scammed before by hotels keeping “deposits” with no receipt. I can’t afford to lose $75. 4. *Contradictory policy*: The form he wanted me to sign said a $50 deposit is required. When I asked why he was charging $75 if policy is $50, he got angry. 5. *Refused accountability*: He refused to initial that the $75 was a deposit, saying “that’s not how it works.” He finally refunded me when I wouldn’t back down, thank God. This place is really a terrible, horrible, bad condition and all room smells horrible and the have all types of bug, Cockroaches, unfriendly staff, and they change the price whenever they feel like it. I don't recommend it.

Driving in this sweltering heat almost drained me, but I safely made it. I entered the lobby/breakfast area and informed the front desk attendant of my reservation. There was no warm welcome. I was met with a serious demeanor as the attendant gave directions to my room and handed me the parking pass and card key. The room I was given was large with cool A/C. There was a large king size bed, a large sofa, in-room fridge, microwave, smallnflat TV (no cable), a large table, and a few drawers for storage. Aside from the complimentary breakfast (which I hardly attended) and the large outdoor pool on the side of the building, the hotel doesn't offer many amenities. On-site laundry is available, though a few machine were out of order. I would say I had a fairly good stay at Econo Lodge. I was able to relax in my room, explore the town to shop and dine, and return to the premises feeling safe. There were only a couple of things I didn't like about the room, such as the weak water pressure in the shower and the TV constantly losing connection.

Good place to stwy for a great price. Front desk staff Jeremy is excellent with his customer service. I would recommend it.

Disgusting place very old and dirty. Needs to be shut down. Broken. Window. Broken shower bed. Broken wall you can see outside.

Hidden fees, unclean rooms, snippy staff, and a front office that seems to be the only building to receive any sort of update in the last 20 years. Find a different hotel.

The worst experience we’ve ever had at a “hotel/motel” in our lives. The place was DISGUSTING, filthy and full of cockroaches. We killed more than 10 cockroaches in less than 10 minutes, and they just kept coming out. HORRIBLE, DISGUSTING, and they refused to refund our money. Absolutely unacceptable and beyond disappointing. We had to leave in the middle of the night while traveling with a baby under 1 year old. The next day, we called to speak with the “Manager”, and she laughed in our faces while refusing to refund us. Honestly, what can you expect from a place that filthy and disgusting? Clearly, the people running it are just as nasty as the place itself. Simple. And we wouldn’t even give this place a single star, we only had to select one in order to be able to leave this review and let others know what we went through.

How could they fold this and say it’s clean? Imagine this was in the washer with all the clean towels? Dirty right? Imagine you just notice this dirty towel after taking a bath? You have no choice right? The management is filthy!

The rooms were clean but they never refunded me my security deposit when I left the room in an organize position as it was when I first checked in.

Room was full of cockroaches! I wish I could upload photos.

Front desk agent was friendly as I'm driving thru Florida made a stop to rest . Ty

Dirty, strong cigarettes smell, horrible. First and last time. For breakfast ,was a joke . The coffee, real bad.

Positive: Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was great. Negative: Location so so. Breakfast should be till at least 9AM.

Absolutely horrendous, I would not recommend this hotel, I killed roaches in my room and few in the restroom , The sheets smell pee and never have housekeeping services, Absolutely disgusting.,,, never again

Rooms are disgusting roaches dead and alive food on walls the house keepers don’t clean anything and they will try to keep your money for literally nothing cause they whole building falling apart
