HAMPTON INN AND SUITES ORLANDO/SOUTH LAKE BUENA VISTA

Not off to a great start at all. I did the mobile check in last night through the Hilton Honors app, drove from Atlanta today, and waited around forever (until 5pm) to come in since the app still says it was “preparing the room” that I had preselected during early check in. Apparently there was “glitch” in the app, which was why it wouldn’t complete the check in, yet I was never notified. I’ve always done contactless check in with Hilton hotels, been notified when the room was ready (which is typically earlier than standard check in time). When I expressed to the front desk that I wish I had known, since I thought it just wasn’t clean he said it doesn’t let you know when it’s ready anyways, and seemed surprised when I told him I’ve experienced otherwise. The room I selected in early check in was unavailable, go figure, so I was put in a different one, which I’m pretty sure is smaller. The room smells like an indoor pool, pure chlorine, due to being above the pool. Also, the place is extremely dated. We tried to go to the pool around 6, but couldn’t even find an open space around or in the pool due to a birthday party? Seemed very odd to happen at a hotel pool. Not sure if they were actually guests of the hotel or not. And we were locked outside and had to knock on the door until an employee would let us in since the pool door was locked from the inside and wouldn’t unlock with the mobile or physical keys that myself and others tried to use.

What a DUMP!!! First room had a giant roach on the floor. The front desk guy was very nice and upgraded us when we asked for a different room. But the new room had a ripped shade, a broken ceiling light, a damaged microwave, and a badly rusted lamp that look like it had been soaked in salt water. See photos. I left additional feedback at checkout and I was assured a manager would call me. They couldn't be bothered. This property is dated and was probably originally not a Hampton Inn. This property is a disgrace to the Hilton brand. See photos... I won't bother showing the roach.

Very clean . Room very comfortable. My family and love it., I will con back for my next vacation.

I can't believe Hilton has sunk this low. AVOID!!! Carpets were sticky - sticky!!!! Carpets frayed and torn. Pet smell and pet urine smell. Love seat frayed and stained. Mattress cover didn't fit - and it should have fit because the mattress was stained!!! Bathroom is dark. All furniture is decrepit and ready for the dumpster. I haven't stayed in a place this bad in a developed nation in over a quarter of a century. SHAME on Hilton for allowing this. My last stay in a Hilton property.

Parking space can be full. No hangers or wardrobe in the room I got which was a two single bed room. Nothing fancy . Just regular.

Everything was great but the mattress. It seen better nights.

My wife booked this hotel for a trip this past weekend, and I'll say it was definitely within a great budget! Out the gate the atmosphere from the lobby and workers was pretty well staffed! The rooms you can tell were dated, but for what all they give you and the location of all the amenities (shopping, food) it was well worth the trip. We'll be down again for sure.

As soon as we came in to our hotel room the first thing we noticed was the stains all over the furniture. Couch? White stains. Ceiling? Water stain. Chair? Weird wet dark stain. Other than that I thought the room was okay but that was until the next day. We had no clean towels because room service simply did not show up. It was terrible. The only thing saving it were the tasty Mickey waffles for breakfast.

100% satisfaction not guaranteed!!! Not even 50%. Upon checking in and walking into the first room we heard the A/c unit making a horrible noise. We returned to front desk and asked for a new room. The next room had a few issues that were reported to the hotel to which they could not resolve until later they said. Who ever came and worked on the room problems when were were out ruined our property. We were offed compensation by hotel staff to which we accepted. Management, with the name of Francis, decided to renege the offer. Just on the merits of the room conditions itself, I personally would not return to this establishment. Given management actions, I will probably not staying at Hilton property for quite a few years. Issues: First room ac noise Refrigerator that made lots of noise phone did not work Toilet leaks and sprayed water in seat Toilet seat deformed by water being on it Dirty shower head ( I had to clean it myself) Back entrance door security lock does not function letting anyone in Front desk staff not present at times And left completely 100% dissatisfied

Sadly this hotel needs a complete overhaul. We stayed years ago and in those years it appears they have done nothing to maintain it. It was extremely outdated and messy. The bed was clean but the comforter went straight to the ground due to stains, we slept with just the sheets. The bathroom was a tub shower that had a rusted shower head. The toilet did not work correctly and I had to keep fixing it. The carpet was filthy and stained ina nd out of the room, along with the furniture inside and outside the room. They now charge for parking. Also the free breakfast was never utilized due to how unappealing it was. We will not be returning. This did not hold up to th Hilton honors at all!!

DO NOT STAY HERE YOU ARE WARNED I want to describe my recent horrible experience at Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando-South Lake Buena Vista, because, honestly, it was the WORST hotel experiences I’ve ever had and I’ve been a Hilton member for a long time. When we first checked into our room, it was in a condition I wouldn’t expect from any hotel, let alone a Hilton. There was rust throughout the room, and my wife found a used pair of panties sitting on the lamp! That was beyond disgusting. If that was missed during cleaning I don’t know what else was missed!! We immediately reached out to the front desk about it and they switched us to a new room. To our horror, the new one wasn’t any better. The mattress had visible stains on it, and even the fresh sheets that were brought up to us were stained. At that point, there was nothing else we could do…we packed up and left at 3:30 in the morning ( we checked in around 2:30 am after a long day of travel) to find somewhere else to stay and had to book a completely different hotel out of pocket. I want to be clear, I’m not asking for anything extraordinary. After a long day of travel, all we needed was a clean room. That’s the bare minimum, and unfortunately we didn’t get that… twice. I’ve always been a loyal Hilton customer and this is beyond unacceptable and I am considering other brands.

Well, let me just start off that I have stayed at plenty of Hilton properties, but this one goes over and beyond I mentioned about a birthday there was balloons and alittle banner as well as a bag with some snacks for us wishing my daughter a happy birthday I’ve never had that experience, but let me also just say the room was absolutely the cleanest room I’ve ever stayed at any hotel. The food in the morning was nice and warm and definitely edible from mini omelettes to scrambled eggs to bagels, Mickey waffles, fruits, coffee, tease, hot, chocolates, |So let me just say thank you so much for having such an amazing place to stay at when we go to Disney or any of the|theme parks in the area definitely will be coming back
