What diners say — our read

An A inspection result sits behind a review average of just 3.3. When how food arrives comes up here it is usually a criticism, and the ratings attached average 1.0.

What nobody raises here is front-of-house — it goes unmentioned across all 14 reviews. Of the 14 rated reviews, 8 sit at four stars or better and 5 at two or below. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 6 of 14.

On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (92/100), with 8 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That result dates from February 11, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. Ranked against Osceola County, it is safer than 47% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: cross-contamination.

The weak part of this listing is the experience, not the sanitation — those are different failures. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

They have really good food here

  • May 26, 2026

Went Yesterday, spent 50+ the lechon was dry as hell, the cuerito (pork skin) instead of being crispy as it should be the good one, was soggy. The pork was tasteless and hard as concrete and after eating this food, my whole family got food poisoning, we left some pork for today and the pork smell rotten like dead rat. No wonder why we got sick. Bad quality, bad food. Don’t recommend this place.

I got seriously sick after eating here. The food smelled horrible and tasted old, but I didn’t realize how bad it was until later that night. I ended up with severe diarrhea, vomiting, fever, and honestly felt like I was dying. I tried to return the food and ask for a refund, but they refused to give my money back. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all. This restaurant is not Puerto Rican is Venezuela.
