What diners say — our read

An average alone would undersell where this place is now. Reviews mentioning front-of-house average 3.9 stars, so it divides opinion rather than settling it. After that, cleanliness appears most often — 23% of the corpus, averaging 4.4.

A third strand, speed of service, appears in 18% of them at 2.3 stars. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (14 of 22). Of the 22 rated reviews, 14 sit at four stars or better and 6 at two or below.

The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (100/100) and no violations cited. The visit behind that grade was September 9, 2025. That puts it ahead of 100% of graded kitchens in Osceola County. The inspector left without citing anything — worth noting, since most visits find something.

The honest summary is that the evidence is mixed on both sides. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Ms. Nawal, who was the person who welcomed us after check-in at the Margaritaville hotel, did an absolutely exceptional job. From the very beginning until the end of our stay, every aspect of our experience was smooth, warm, and special. Her professionalism and dedication made a huge difference. Thank you so much, Nawal!”

I am writing to provide a comprehensive account of our recent vacation experience, encompassing both the significant challenges encountered and the positive aspects of our stay. Our initial booking for an 8-bedroom elite cottage was made through Expedia. Following this, we attempted to extend our stay by an additional three nights. Regrettably, instead of processing an extension, our original confirmed reservation for the first week was inexplicably canceled by Expedia. Upon discovering this critical issue approximately one week prior to our scheduled arrival, we encountered extreme difficulty in contacting Expedia customer service to rectify the situation, leading to considerable pre-vacation stress and uncertainty. Given the inability to resolve the matter with the third-party provider, we were compelled to directly engage with the Margaritaville resort management. This involved numerous phone calls and ultimately necessitated an email to the CEO to escalate the issue. Through these persistent efforts, we were eventually offered alternative accommodation—a similar cottage managed by V-stays, a separate entity with properties on the Margaritaville resort grounds. This arrangement was made because Margaritaville's primary rental company, Rentyl, had no record of our reservation and no availability for a suitable alternative. This process was exceptionally demanding and added undue pressure leading up to our planned vacation. Regarding the V-stays cottage, which was provided…

Great resort, great amenities, and the services were superb!

Stayed here since I booked a timeshare presentation but couldn't get the room type originally booked, was supposed to be a pool view room but the reception gave us a room with no views, saying the original room was in maintenance, our actual room also had issues with the shower, so we had to take a lukewarm temperature shower last night and get a technician to come fix it for us today, also got a room that was pretty far to walk to. We could get access to H2O for free which is nice, resort fee is around $50+ a night and parking $20, the front desk lady offered a credit for not getting the right room for us, just an ok experience so far.

My family and I just returned from a weeklong trip to Orlando for a Disney vacation and chose to rent a cottage using the Margaritaville website. We specifically booked a 3 bedroom premium cottage for the additional features listed on the website that differentiated it from a 3 bedroom standard cottage (double beds, kitchen island, balcony, and 3.5 bathrooms- see photo from site). When we got to our house, we realized we got zero of these features. I reached out to our contact via text and was told it was a premium cottage and they all just vary. I explained to the contact that we specifically paid extra for the added features listed. I asked if we would have chose an elite cottage if we would have been guaranteed a pool (the only additional features specific to the elite) and the contact stated that the elite does guarantee a pool but the premium does not guarantee any of the added features listed for it. Missing one feature could possibly be deemed acceptable but missing all features is false advertising. To all looking to book a cottage at Margaritaville in Orlando, I would be very hesitant to book anything above standard as Margaritaville won’t promise any features even though their website says otherwise. We wasted roughly $400 for the upgrade which they refused to refund us the difference. The claim was that “our cottages are privately owned, and while we do our best to represent each home as accurately as possible, we are not able to guarantee that all features listed…

Here’s a more polished and natural version: Oh my goodness, this place exceeded all of our expectations! It was our first time visiting, and we absolutely loved it. Everything was so clean, the recreational areas were amazing, and there was truly something for everyone. We rode bikes, played beach volleyball, and had an incredible time—both the kids and the adults. The entire place felt safe, the amenities were excellent, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. We can’t wait to come back!

My family really love this place. This stay was our first experience here and we would 10/10 recommend and come here again. The hotels are more like townhomes and each one has its own private pool and Jacuzzi. The one we stayed in had 3 and a half bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It's absolutely perfect for our family of 4, and everyone gets their own rooms! I hope we can come back again many more times.

Among the absolute worst. I can’t even bother spending the time to illustrate

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after giving Margaritaville Resort Orlando every opportunity to make this right, I feel it's important to share our experience. We booked this stay to celebrate both Mother's Day weekend and my son's birthday. Before we arrived, we received a call from the resort encouraging us to "upgrade" from our reserved 2 Queen Pool View room to a cottage. We were told it would be within walking distance of the resort amenities and restaurants. Instead, the cottage was approximately a 30-minute walk from the main lobby and pool, requiring shuttle transportation. Unfortunately, one of the resort shuttles was reportedly out of service during our stay, resulting in long wait times. The pool and resort amenities were one of the primary reasons we chose this resort, yet we never even used the pool because getting around the property became such a hassle. The most serious issue, however, was a malfunctioning fire alarm/detector that beeped throughout both nights of our stay. We contacted guest services multiple times by phone, text, and Booking.com messages that were never answered. An engineer came to the cottage the 2nd night around 2:00 a.m. but was unable to fix the problem. The alarm continued beeping, and I ultimately had to climb onto furniture and remove the batteries myself after two nights of interrupted sleep. When I spoke with the front desk associate, Michelle, she was very kind and tried her best to help. Unfortunately, when speaking to the…

Janet at Euphoria was top tier. She served us breakfast with a smile and energy we needed in the morning! I truly love this resort, it’s super cute and cozy. The rooms are beautiful and even have a fridge! All in all, great stay.

10/10 Experience. The location, the service, the room... everything was exceptional. I legit got sad when I had to leave. My family and I stayed in one of the 5 bedroom cottages and it was great!!! Everything was clean and well stocked. The pool area is beautiful. It's truly like a Caribbean getaway. Pro tip you can get a cocktail from the front desk daily during your stay. Also it's so close to Disney. They have shuttles running. And the location is chef's kiss. And you get free access to H20 Waterpark. Everything is near. Perfect.

We had a wonderful week here! Everything was in walking distance from the house we were in, but they also have a shuttle that'll take you within the grounds, including the water park. We received free passes to the H2O water park for up to 8 guests in total. My boyfriend scheduled the vacation, so in order for anyone to enter H2O he personally had to enter with them (I'd look into adding another adult if possible). You have to be between the ages of 16 and 18 to stay at the park alone. (However another employee at the entrance said 18 only). If you plan to run in and drop your responsible teens off (just under age 16) don't announce that at the entrance. Go in, get them settled, then leave (my personal advice). You can leave the park and return if you get stamped, but do the stamp on your arm because it washes off easily. Parking at H20 is $25, and though 1 employee let us "drop off" at no charge, the next day we were charged $25, so we stayed. Keep in mind they don't accept cash at H2O. Renting a small locker cost $14, it's pretty deep so it'll hold more than it appears from the outside. The house was beautiful, clean, modern, with a beachy decor. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, and a blender. Mini bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were in each bathroom, along with 2 sets of towels (body towel, hand towel, wash cloth, and a floor towel). They also had about 6 beach towels available. In addition to the living room tv, and upstairs tv,…

This hotel has it all… 3 pools, shops, bars, bike rental, lake view and friendly team always polite and ready to make you feel on an island.! Every day you stay gets you a ticket to H2O water park, the only thing you need to make sure, is when the hotel gives you the QR code for the water park tickets you put your entire family in it, as they ask you to complete number of adults not guest and this mistake can cost you extra $$$, however, Keenan from hotel front desk team helped us get that issue resolved. The water park, restaurants, ice cream shops and arcade are all within walking distance from the hotel just across the street.

Cindy and Camila were very helpful.

At the beginning of our stay, we had washing machine issues. We were advised not to use and that the front desk would get us a solution the next day since it was reported at around 9pm. They never reached back out. No communication whatsoever even though they later acknowledged receiving the issue via email. Spoke to them afternoon the next day and they said they'd get us in a new cottage asap. Never heard anything from them for 3.5 hours until I went to the front desk again and only to find out it was ready, they just didn't communicate it to us. Later that week, we had already checked out and then received a phone call telling us we needed to check out. Then got hung up on multiple times when trying to return that call. Then waited on hold for over 20 minutes because my call was being ignored - I finally got connected to another customer who was also being ignored and couldn't reach the front desk! After all of this, when I asked to speak with a manager, the manager intentionally ignored me and had staff tell me he was in a meeting - despite walking out of the back office and to the front desk at least 3 times - only to go right back in, ignoring me, even after making I contact with me. That manager was David.

My family and I stayed June 7th, 2026. The resort is very nice, clean, and my family and I enjoyed the waterpark, but all that is tainted because of this incident…I forgot articles of clothing on the balcony that I left out to dry. I called the same day I checked out in hopes that the cleaning crew could put it in their Lost and Found because the items could have picked it up that same day, however, that’s not what happened. Instead, I was directed to do a claim which I did. Since then I’ve called daily and have been told the items are nowhere to be found. Management says they are not responsible for lost items (even though they do have a lost and found). I feel like they handled the whole situation poorly. In addition to creating the claim, the cleaning crew should’ve been asked if they found the items that same day, before anything could’ve been thrown out or taken, and of course, the cleaning crew should’ve returned the items to the Lost and Found. So all this to say- don’t lose anything while you are there because the cleaning crew may not turn it in to the lost and found and management will not care. This is what happened to me. I asked management to speak to the specific person who worked my room that day, (which should have happened day 1 when I called the same day that I checked out). I’m still waiting for that return phone call.
