Worth separating two things on this listing: how the food is received, and how the kitchen inspects. When pacing comes up here it is usually a criticism, and the ratings attached average 1.5. Freshness and temperature is the next most common subject, in 21% of reviews (averaging 2.5).
The single most common rating left here is 1 star (12 of 19). The staff shows up in 21% of reviews as well, averaging 1.5. Of the 19 rated reviews, 5 sit at four stars or better and 13 at two or below.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (92/100) with 1 high-priority violations. The visit behind that grade was March 25, 2026. That puts it ahead of 47% of graded kitchens in Osceola County. For specifics, the last inspection cited chemicals / toxic substances properly stored & used.
If portion size is what you care about, the reviews are the better guide here; if it is the kitchen, the grade is. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

As someone who rarely eats McDonald’s, I decided to treat myself to a Big Mac meal after work today. Unfortunately, my fries were cold, so I politely asked for a fresh order. I was asked to return the fries, and after waiting, I was given the same fries with only a few fresh ones placed on top while the rest remained cold. It was disappointing because I simply wanted to enjoy a fresh meal after working in the rain. What made the experience worse was calling the store. The person who answered initially claimed I had reached the wrong location in another state, only to later admit they were the manager of the Pleasant Hill location in Kissimmee. That dishonesty left me questioning the professionalism of the interaction. This is the second time I’ve experienced poor service at this location, and because of it, I will not be returning. My advice to other customers is to check your order before driving away to ensure your request was actually fulfilled.

I spent more than 25 minutes waiting for my order in the drive thru at 1:00 am! Thankfully it wasn't rush hour because I may still be there as you're reading this.

Only reason we stopped here was the kids wanted McDonald's, usually they get the order right but this one was really bad, messed up mine and my wife's order. By the time we noticed we were already driving. Also what is up with McDonald's being so stingy with barbecue sauce even when you place the order and tell them you want barbecue sauce with the Nuggets they don't give it to you and you have to ask seems like all of them around here do that, except for the one in Hunter's Creek.

McDonald's food is pretty good. He's in and easy. L no hassle, so if you gotta get something fast. And Harry, go to McDonald's

Gave me cookies in a pancake platter … with a 30 minute wait.. the franchise owner needs to sell and give it to a more responsible franchise owner.. I’m Not blaming the workers.. I’m blaming the franchise owner who thinks this is acceptable.. everyone was in that drive thru line for over 30 minutes for that gas 🤢giving food.. I tried to talk my 10 year old son out of it but he wanted it.. first and last time going here. Bc the next day McDonalds food makes everyone fat with gas ..

We went there at 12:30 pm last night and they did not answer us at the drive thru!!! We drive by and saw the employees working and cleaning but not serving food

Great Team working the Drive Thru!

I guess the 6 piece chicken nugget now only comes with 5 pieces. And then they want a higher wage.

This McDonald’s has gone SO downhill. The food is awful every time now. The nuggets are always squishy and the fries are never cooked well They always seem like they were cooked in old oil so they’re limp and wet. The food tastes like it’s been sitting out forever.

As a frequent patron and a former employee with 14 years of experience at McDonald's in the 1990s, I consistently strive to be courteous. However, I have noticed a recurring lack of basic hospitality from the staff. During my visits, there are no greetings or acknowledgments; interactions are limited to "what can I get you" and "move forward." Even after the transaction, there is no verbal confirmation of the total, and my "thank you" is met with silence. While I understand the importance of efficiency, the current atmosphere feels excessively transactional and impersonal. Providing a welcoming environment is a vital component of the dining experience. If the human element of service is removed, it diminishes the value of visiting a physical establishment. I respectfully suggest implementing additional customer service training to ensure your staff understands the significance of a simple greeting and basic courtesy. Furthermore, I have frequently found the food to be lukewarm rather than hot.

Waited 23 minutes for a kids cheeseburger and fries. That's totally ridiculous. When I complained to the Mgr Alondra she was very rude. I told her then I would call corporate being. She didn't care and she said, you make sure you tell them my name. People like that that are in a position to help and their smart mouth in the customer. They don't need to be in that position.Number one and if she hates her job that much send her down the road.Give it to somebody who really wants to work.

To slow need more personal

Food came wrapped this way, with all of its contents spilling out and looking completely gross. Not to mention missing items. This location is often completely dissatisfying.

I feel so bad but I have to be honest! The food NEVER fresh! Ever! Lunch starts at 11 why am I coming at 11:20 to no fresh fries I don’t know if the grease is old or what but it’s like I order a large fry and get a total of 10 fries! I don’t know like you guys have to do better
