Speed of service shows up in 17% of reviews as well, averaging 1.0. The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (12 of 18). The split is 12 positive to 5 negative across 18 rated reviews, with 1 in the middle.
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (91/100), with 2 intermediate and 3 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. The visit behind that grade was January 30, 2026. On health score it sits safer than 44% of the Osceola County restaurants we grade. For specifics, the last inspection cited food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and plumbing installed & maintained.

Great service, people are nice

Absolutely disgusting. During our meal, two people in our party ended up throwing up in the Outback bathroom. That alone says enough. You’ve all been warned. Update: We still haven’t been back. It’s been years, and we still randomly talk about how terrible this place was and laugh about it. It was genuinely that unforgettable — and not in a good way.

Enough salt to kill a rino.

My food was wrong and I attempted to call 5 or 6 times I was put on hold 2 times for 9 minutes each and then when I called the last time I was hung up on I'm pretty sure I will never go back there very disappointed

3/4 of table were empty . 45 minutes wait not enough employees. Great place horrible management. What a shame.

I enjoy my visits to Outback Steakhouse. It is a great restaurant.

I went with a big party and I know that can be challenging for staff and the people in the kitchen but there weren’t any excuses for how terrible our visit was. The staff seemed like nice people they treated us well but Jesus we were there for 5 hours. It took them an unbelievable amount of time to get the food out. Appetizers came out an hour in feels like the entrees came an out after and it really just felt like we spent the entire time waiting. When I finally got my food after such a ridiculous wait time my rack of ribs was burned to a crisp. There was chard grease from the grill stuck to the bottom of the rack of ribs I had gotten about one and half down and I honestly was thinking it tasted really bad so flipped the ribs over and felt disgusted to see the entire bottom of the rack was completely chard. My grandfather ordered the same thing and his were also completely burned. Hours of waiting for burned to hell ribs is kind of unacceptable to me. 30 dollar entree to be completely burned it’s kind of embarrassing. The worst part is after telling staff and them coming over to see our completely botched entrees they still took damn near another 45 mins-an hour to get us new ones. By that time I was just kind of hungry and defeated so I’m not sure if the carrot cake was actually pretty okay or if I was just sick of being there and wanted to get the desert down and leave. Very nice and understanding staff but oh my god that kitchen needs some help.

As locals, we come to Outback often and experiences like this are exactly why we keep coming back. Tatenda truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect from start to finish. The attention to detail, kindness, and outstanding service did not go unnoticed. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely cares about making guests feel welcomed and taken care of the way he does. Thank you, TATENDA, for making our visit such a great one — you absolutely deserve the recognition!

We enjoyed the food. It was tasty but we all would've taken out some of the black pepper on our dishes and salt on our fries . Maybe being mother's day the kitchen was too busy. Our server Makaylen was amazing! She deserves all the stars on our review.
