    The half chicken was dry.

Went in 15 mins ago for a family meal. 1 side option was the tostones. The beans seemed like they have been sitting there hours because they are very thick. Chicken is tasty but a bit dry. This is the LAST TIME I return here. I'd rather pay a bit more and receive quality. I am Latina and love their food BUT hesitate to come here bc of the lines and poor customer service.

Everything about this place is just ok, don’t travel to come here it’s nothing of the other world but no bad either like I said just ok. Fine if you live half an hour away from the place. The place has no identity they want to be a restaurant but also a deli but also a coffee shop but also a bakery failing miserably. You know “jack of all trades master of none”.

Piocos used to be a place I made a point to visit every time I came to Orlando. The chicken was always amazing, and it felt worth the stop. Unfortunately, my most recent visit completely changed my opinion. Since the restaurant is close to the airport and we were starving before a flight, we decided to stop for what we hoped would be a good, filling dinner. We waited in line, only to be told that ordering chicken would take 20 minutes, so we chose two combination plates instead. We were a party of three and planned to share. Because we asked for a twist on their regular mofongo to make it a trifongo, we were told the second combination would take a bit longer. That was fine with us, so we paid and started eating the first plate while waiting. About ten minutes after picking up the second combination, the same employee who handed it to us suddenly started yelling across the restaurant that she had given us an extra item and that we needed to pay for it. This happened in front of everyone. I explained that we had no idea how the combinations were supposed to be served and that the mistake wasn’t ours, but she insisted we pay anyway. We did, because we are honest people, but the way it was handled was embarrassing and completely unprofessional. I can only imagine how this would have played out if we had taken the food to go. To make things worse, the food wasn’t as good as it used to be. It didn’t taste authentically Puerto Rican, and for a moment I wondered if the ownership…

The experience of eating there is not worth the food. One of the women accused us of stealing one of the dishes, which they had given us and we had paid for (showed receipt). It ruined our dining experience. We showed them our receipt and she still charged us for the dish anyway, even while her coworkers told her to leave us alone. She was extremely rude and yelled at us from the counter, embarrassing us in front of everyone else. Also, the food did not taste Puerto Rican (as a Puerto Rican) and most of the employees were Colombian anyway, SO DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT AUTHENTIC PUERTO RICAN FOOD. This completely ruined our vibe.

The place is really nice and the employees are friendly. However, the rotisserie chicken is very dry and lacks flavor. It’s the second chance I gave it and turned out the same. Just some positive feedback for improvement as I would like to return and enjoy.

Precios solidarios. Recomendado
