The 3.3-star average is misleading — almost nobody actually rated it that. The staff cuts both ways here, averaging 3.3 among the reviews that raise it. How long an order takes follows at 42% of reviews, where ratings average 3.4.
Whether food comes out hot shows up in 16% of reviews as well, averaging 3.7. The split is 11 positive to 8 negative across 19 rated reviews. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 10 of 19.
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (96/100), with 1 intermediate and 1 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That result dates from February 17, 2026. The trend across inspections is improvement. That puts it ahead of 69% of graded kitchens in Osceola County. What the inspector actually wrote up: handwash sinks accessible and floors, walls, ceilings clean & maintained.
If how guests are treated is what you care about, the reviews are the better guide here; if it is the kitchen, the grade is. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

Inflation, I understand things are rough but come on Popeye's. I can't afford a two piece meal ($10) I had to op for 8 piece chicken no sides. It's chicken!. If I'm going to spend that kind of money why can't I get the part of chicken I want? I'll tell cashier and they said yes, it's on my receipt, I always ask for legs and thighs and end up with wings ( that's fried to a crisp) and three pieces of breast that goes in garbage because my family doesn't eat that part. So I waste money, 8 pieces chicken and 4 pieces goes in garbage. The chicken is good . The service here sucks! Mess up my order. I called, i was nice about it, the person who answered laughed. Popeyes, train your people. You lost a customer

Matthew took our order He was courteous and had excellent customer service. Thank you Mathew for a great experience at the drive thought!

Place a pick up order 12:45, go through the drive through and are parked for 15 minutes. Go into the store and now they are still preparing the order. I am now told waiting for fries, but those who go in the drive through after us get got fries. Very confused as to why mobile order is an option. Might as well just go through the drive through since that is the priority. I use the mobile app for savings but looks like it balances out. You pay less but wait more.

This is the most wonderful Popeyes you could ever eat at, I've been to other Popeyes and I could tell u first hand the experience is for sure not the same. The staff here are great, make you feel right at home and the food is amazing, 10/10 would definitely recommend and visit again often😊

I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience deserves to be recognized. I stopped by this Popeyes while my mom was in the hospital. She had been struggling to eat, and all she wanted was some mashed potatoes. I was exhausted and standing in the parking lot trying to collect myself before going inside when an employee, Terrica who happened to be on her break, greeted me with kindness. She told me she could recognize when someone needed a breather. She thanked me for the work I do in healthcare, and when I explained that I wasn't working that night and was there because my mom was hospitalized, she treated me with so much compassion and understanding. I also want to recognize the team working in the back. The cooks were incredibly helpful and accommodating to make sure I had what I needed to take back to my mom. When someone you love is sick and struggling to eat, something as simple as mashed potatoes becomes so much more than a side dish. Their willingness to help meant that my mom got one of the few things she felt up to eating that day. The food was exactly what we needed, but it's the humanity I remember most. From the employee who offered kindness in the parking lot to the team behind the scenes preparing our order with care, everyone played a part in making a very difficult day a little easier. Healthcare workers spend a lot of time taking care of everyone else. That day, someone took care of me for a moment, and I'll never forget it.

Best service I've had in a long time at Popeyes. Very prompt and courteous. The AC didn't seem to be working very well. Terrica is the best

I’ve had issues ordering from the store before, It’s always hit or miss sometimes it’s great sometimes it’s not I always assumed it was the delivery app. But this time after calling the store and having a person who claimed to be the general manager scream at me when all I did was ask for clarification on what was going on is crazy. I see that the owner often replies to these I will gladly speak to the owner and remove my review. But in the meantime anyone ordering from this store in particular be careful

I placed multiple orders for pick up here through a delivery app in the past I know I’ve had issues I always assumed it was the delivery app. I called the store after I went through multiple drivers and multiple orders that kept getting either canceled or delayed It turns out they handed food to a driver but did not properly confirm it so the food never arrived the driver Would get reassigned and I wouldn’t get my food but because the store wouldn’t cancel it I would get charged enough to wait until an hour and a half past and the app would do something and cancel the order. I called just trying to understand what’s going on. A person claiming to be the general manager immediately started yelling at me. I have a very weak voice because I just had throat surgery, And she kept yelling at me on the phone. I was just trying to understand what’s going on and explain that the new driver was on the way according to my app give them the proper name to make sure that he got the food so I can get my food. And she kept interrupting talking over me yelling screaming that she already made the order over and over and over again. I thought maybe it was a problem with my voice so I had someone else tried talking to her. I could hear the general manager’s voice screaming over the phone. All we asked is that she would hand my food to the correct driver so I can get my food. She says she has on camera that driver’s picking up the food. I was trying to tell her that the correct driver is…
