TROPICO MOFONGO LATIN FOOD

La comida regular tiene el especial de 6:00PM a 11:00PM 2x18. El arroz con gandules me supo a cajita.

Me encantó el sabor del mofongo es exquisito lo recomiendo 1000% en verdad bien sabrosa la comida

I went here for 3 straight days. Great food, decent portions, and excellent value. Everything I tried was good.

I visited Tropico Mofongo when I ordered a mystery bag as part of a deal I found on the app “Too Good To Go”. Normally, I am not one to order anything that’s a mystery. It was fun to try new things. The restaurant had good lighting, a great atmosphere, and it was very clean. It was packed with customers who know good food. I’ve passed this plaza many times when going to the nearby Walmart and had no idea all the delicious food that would be inside this place. There were so many menu items featuring all the Latin favorites and you can order right at the counter. The prices are reasonable, too.

An amazing restaurant that is incredibly accommodating to people with gluten allergies or celiac disease. As someone with celiac, I felt very safe eating here and I’m very happy to have finally found a Puerto Rican restaurant I can eat at. The food was delicious- especially the mofongo, and I really enjoyed the passion fruit juice. The service was also excellent and I will definitely be returning!

No me gustó este lugar. Éramos 6 personas y la política es ordenar y pagar antes de recibir la comida. Aunque no es mi sistema favorito, lo entiendo. Sin embargo, para que mi familia pudiera empezar a comer mientras yo terminaba de pagar y estaba pidiendo otra gente entre nosotros…, le pedí a la cajera que les entregara los platos que ya estaban listos y yo me quedaba en caja. Me dijo que no podía hacerlo y que todos debíamos esperar. Imaginen pedir comida para 6 personas y que los platos queden esperando en el mostrador mientras se completa el pago. Cuando finalmente nos sentamos, parte de la comida ya estaba fría. El chicharrón estaba duro y seco, y la chuleta también. El resto de los platos estuvo aceptable, pero nada sobresaliente. De hecho, dejamos parte de la comida porque no nos gustó la calidad del puerco. En general, la experiencia no cumplió nuestras expectativas. NO LO RECOMIENDO.

I remember coming here when it first opened and I remember how amazing and exciting it was to have a REAL spanish restaurant in the middle of tourist-ville. This is my first time back since all those years ago and omg.... the food *chefs kiss* the staff *chefs kiss* the vibes *chefs kiss* If you're a local, this should be your favorite spot. If you're visiting the area, come here! You wont regret it, you'll leave with your belly full wanting to come back for more. I also recently learned they have a catering menu too!

The mofongo was very dry and hard to chew. The churrasco was ok.

Use be to one of our go to restaurants but today was unbelievable. Messed up our order and told them to fix it and they told me that is what I ordered which is wasn’t they wouldn’t exchange it or give a refund. Ordered the skirt steak and taste a little spoiled so we left, didn’t eat and won’t be coming back. I hope this review gets to the management because they need to train their staff better. Will share this experience with all my friends and family. You guys definitely drop the ball today

Decent food

We absolutely love eating at Tropico Mofongo. The staff is incredibly friendly, but it’s really the food that is the star of the show! Jibaritos, mofongo, jugo de parcha - just a few of my favorites. We have never had a bad experience since discovering them February 2026.

The place smells amaizing! We ate Tripleta and it was really good! I didn't took pictures of the food line up, but everything looks good.

Best Puerto Rican food in the area!
