What diners say — our read

Sorted newest-first, the ratings decline as you read up. Opinion on how guests are treated is split — those reviews land at 3.9 on average. After that, the state of the room appears most often — 22% of the corpus, averaging 3.8.

The split is 16 positive to 2 negative across 23 rated reviews, with 5 in the middle. 5 stars is the modal score, given by 13 of the 23 reviewers who rated. Wait times shows up in 22% of reviews as well, averaging 4.2.

On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (100/100) with no violations cited. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That inspection was on October 1, 2025. On health score it sits safer than 100% of the Orange County restaurants we grade. Nothing was written up at that inspection at all.

Both measures agree, which is the least complicated version of this page. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

Beautiful resort with great amenities and location.

I just wanted to give a big shout out to Luke. He checked me in yesterday and it was nothing but amazing .Luke Customer Service skills are great. He answer every question and I’m almost sure he did it the Hilton Way. He explained everything to me gave me a map. he asked me if I was going to Disney he told me about parking he made suggestions. He told me about the restaurants inside the hotel and the one by the poolHe get a 10 out of 10 and the hotel get a 10 out of 10, so we love it here

Absolutely unacceptable experience. The cafeteria employee publicly yelled at me while I was simply trying to buy a coffee, humiliating me in front of other guests. I have never been treated this way at a hotel before. Based on how I was treated, I left feeling that I was targeted because of my race. Whether management agrees or not, that is exactly how this interaction came across to me. No guest should ever be made to feel unwelcome or degraded in a place that claims to value hospitality. I will not be returning, and I hope the hotel takes complaints about discriminatory treatment seriously.

The parking is a pain. But overall is cute.

My nephew Titus Nelson and his wife and family are here from Atlanta Georgia. My niece Talaya is performing at the Platinum National Dance Competition in Orlando Florida at the. Lake Buena Vista Resort, they will find out later today, if they make it to the championship. I'm so proud of her, and I hope her dreams come true. Bring home the trophy 🏆 Talaya. 🙏🙏🙏💜🌹🌹🌹

Good location, nice amenities, rooms and bathroom are compact. Receptionist at check in was hasty and not very friendly.

I recently stayed here as part of a dance nationals group and unfortunately my experience did not meet the expectations I have as a Hilton Honors member. The biggest issue was that after I called around 9:25 a.m. to request a late checkout, I later discovered my room key had been deactivated because I had not placed a personal credit card on file. I completely understand hotels requiring a card for incidentals, but at no point during check-in was I informed that my room would be locked if I didn’t provide one. Being locked out of my room without any warning was frustrating and embarrassing. While standing at the front desk, two employees openly discussed my situation in front of me. Having staff talk about a guest within earshot was unprofessional and made an already uncomfortable situation even worse. I do want to recognize the manager, Noah. He took the time to explain why the hotel has this policy, listened to my concerns, and genuinely tried to de-escalate the situation. Although I still disagree with the way the policy is handled, I appreciated his professionalism and willingness to help. He also refunded my daily parking charge after I questioned it. Speaking of parking, I was confused why I was charged each day when the parking gates were frequently left wide open. I watched multiple vehicles enter and exit without stopping, including people driving out through the entrance lane, so it wasn’t clear what the parking fee was actually paying for. Another disappointment…

Sabrina at check-in was amazing! Great property and location. Looking forward to coming back!

Rooms are just average hotel rooms. When we got there the body wash bottle was empty and the wall sconces in the hallways were also pretty dusty. Those things really aren't a big deal, but just kind of showerd a general lack of attentiveness that we noticed throughout. The common areas and the pools are nice. The worst thing was the bed. Holy crap! It was the most miserable three night's sleep I've had in a long time. So hard and worn out! My neck, back and shoulders were in so much pain after our stay and the neck pain caused headaches which kept me up all night. I finally laid on the loveseat in the corner the last half of the last night for some relief. Hilton can do better.

    Food was great.

  • June 23, 2026

Rooms were clean but no microwave in the rooms. You have to go all the way downstairs before you can microwave any food. Which is a real inconvenience for guests. This hotel is in the Disney springs area so no food near by where you can walk unless you go to Disney springs. Restaurants around the area are 8+ minutes drive. The hotel staff is nice and the areas are very clean, its just an inconvenience in this day and age, the rooms do not have a microwave.

The Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace is the best hotel in all of Orlando! The service is top notch, and the entire team there makes you feel like family! Special shout out to Noah Hanke, Assistant Director of Front Office. Noah is incredibly knowledgeable about the hotel and the area; he takes his time with all of his customers; he is quick to resolve issues; and he genuinely cares and wants to ensure that your stay is nothing less of excellent. Noah is one of the best I’ve ever met in the industry, and I can’t sing his praises enough. In a world where customer service is dwindling, Noah is making sure that he and his staff are providing superior customer service. Thank you, Noah, for being the best and for always going above and beyond for every customer! Another special shout out to Joan, Todd, Reel, Jeeleen, and Marilyn at the Letterpress restaurant inside of the BVP - they are THE BEST people you will ever meet!

Great location for visiting the parks... Within walking distance of Disney Springs...Shuttles for other parks. Love the little balcony. Rooms are very clean and up-to-date! 🙂 Tons of amenities!

  • June 23, 2026

Luke was working at the front desk when we checked in, and was so friendly and accommodating and helpful. We stay in a lot of hotels, and he is among the best! Really got our stay off to a good start! Our room was spacious and clean, but had a really bad smell, thus the lower rating

  • June 23, 2026

The room is amazing, 26th floor. Amenities look fantastic, multiple pools, hot tub, couple bars. On site restaurant. Very happy with the property.

  • June 23, 2026

The bed sheets are damp and it seems their dryers don't work. We asked for new set of sheets and again they brought damp sheets. For the third time we got dry sheets just for one bed. Never had such an experience in a hotel. Won't come back again.

Jeremy was great bring all of our luggage for the dance competition. He was super friendly and energetic. It’s so refreshing when someone has a friendly personality.

  • June 22, 2026

Luke was extremely helpful in moving me through the process and getting me an awesome room. He was awesome! Thanks for all the help!

I was in town for the 2026 SHRM conference at the convention center. I stayed at this property and was very impressed by the cleanliness, amenities, and service provided by the staff; especially Luke. Luke went above and beyond and provided me with a fantastic room that met all of our needs. Thanks Luke for making this such a great stay!

  • June 22, 2026

The hotel was completely full. We came for a conference which was at the main building and we were hoping to stay in the main building but ended up at the island building. I went to the front desk and asked if we can change our rooms over to the main. Sabrina, the front receptionist was very professional could not get us a room but assured us that if a room comes available she would block it for us. Before the night was about to end I stopped by the front desk and asked Sabrina for an update. She did block a room for us and quickly switched our rooms from the island building to the main tower. Thank God everything worked out great!

  • June 21, 2026

While this hotel is a little dated, the staff is outstanding and almost every room has a balcony that overlooks Disney Springs or the Epcot fireworks or another beautiful part of the area. The lazy river and pool are extremely enjoyable. The food is not that expensive for a Disney property when you consider you can get an ice cream cone for five dollars and a foot-long Philly for $15. The walk to Disney Springs is about five minutes.

Letters restaurant was very good very reasonable. Excellent service. Our waitress Tina was amazing made everything great

  • June 21, 2026

First off, the staff is great. Very helpful and welcoming. Luke, provided great service at check in and a gave me room upgrade to one of the townhome style rooms in the island building which was a great start to a long trip. That said, the rooms desperately need some TLC. The furniture is quite worn and there were some noticeable stains on lamp shades and curtains. It kind of made it difficult for me to get comfortable. If I wasn’t traveling for work, I’d be more peeved at the costs. Bottled drinks were $8. I moved to the Signia by Hilton up the way and the quality is night and day. Hopefully they invest in some much needed renovations at Buena Vista Palace.
