Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
There is no middle ground in these 30 reviews. Reviewers who mention the staff rate this place 4.7 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour. After that, how long an order takes appears most often — 27% of the corpus, averaging 4.3.
The split is 26 positive to 3 negative across 30 rated reviews, with 1 in the middle. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 25 of 30.
On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (98/100), with 2 basic violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. That result dates from March 31, 2026. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 80% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: wiping cloths and storage & handling of clean equipment and utensils.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. The underlying reviews are reproduced in full underneath.

Arianna was the best, good food and drinks!
-
We were sat in the patio after a rain and never received fresh water glasses, they just poured water into the ones that had set out all day. The food was the worst we’ve had in a long time. The chicken enchiladas barely had chicken in them and were mainly cheese and sauce, and I’m not even sure it had a tortilla in it. The service wasn’t bad but we did feel like we weren’t the clientele they preferred. The atmosphere inside the restaurant felt stiff, whereas the patio was more casual.
-
The restaurant has a great atmosphere, however we were sat outside on the back patio and it felt like forgot about. Food and drinks took forever. Food was extremely overpriced. If you go just know they look at tacos and quesadillas as the same thing.

We love Frontera Cocina and visit every time we’re in town! The food is always amazing! Ernst, the Restaurant Manager, goes above and beyond! On our recent visit our server Azucena was attentive to every detail! Can’t wait for our next visit!
-
The habanero chicken was excellent and Arianna was the best server we have encountered in Florida! GREAT Guacamole! Good spot for excellent Mexican food in Disney Springs.
-
Service was excellent. Our server Uriel gave our group a lot of advice on what food and drinks to order.
-
Uriel was so kind, respectful, and attentive. If you come here ask for him. Best food I’ve ever had.
-
Uriel is the best of the best, greatest bald Puerto Rican server
-
Delicious flautas and great service from Arianna. Cool drinks on a very hot day hit the spot!
-
Cannot say enough awesome things about our experience!! From the welcome staff, to our incredible server Jose, to the manager offering a fruit dessert for our baby - everyone made our meal one to remember. Plus, the best food Disney Springs has to offer!!! 10/10!!
-
If the food is pricey, it has to be really good to be good enough. This was. I had red snapper and the touch of sauce and accompanying pico de gallo we're heavenly. Tried the enchiladas suizas too. Marvelous! The guacamole is also outstanding. Sat on the terrace over the water. Nice.
-
Great food, quick service, perfect portion size (no wasted food). Shout out to Daniel B. Our server who made our experience smooth.
-
Ate here for lunch and we're promptly seated. The food was top notch, but the best part was our server, Daniel B. He was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
-
Amazing lunch experience over the weekend - beautiful ambience, solid food options, and excellent service. Special shout out to our server Arianna who went above and beyond to explain the menu, accommodate dietary restrictions, and make it such a fun meal!
-
Uriel was awesome as our server. Food was great, only rivaled by the service we were given. Highly recommend the chips and guacamole as my kids devoured it in less than 5 minutes. Quattro leches cake is also highly recommended.
-
Magically Scrumptious! Was greeted wonderfully by Ash who was at the door and welcomed me in! Attentively served by Cesar and Madeline as they fulfilled my requests. Meal was superb…. I had the half chicken Habanero with White rice, plantain, and caramelized onions. 😋 Y U M. Restaurant is kept clean and beautiful. Thank you for a memorable lunch experience at Disney Springs Orlando 🎈

This is the second time that we’ve been to this restaurant. The first time was outstanding so we decided to return. There are so many options to choose from In Disney Springs, but we decided to go to this restaurant again. Sadly, we were disappointed this time. When we were seated, I had to brush off the crumbs, not just on the seat, but on the table, I handed the server a dirty water glass and asked to switch out my knife because it had water stains on it. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a table of six that were so loud my husband and I couldn’t even hear our conversation. We started our order with chips and salsa. The chips were very thick and the containers that they have the salsa in are so tiny that you have to break your chips in order to dip it in. The server was OK. We had to wait a while for her to return. We had to get her attention in order to ask for more drinks. The food was OK wasn’t as good as when we were there a year and a half ago maybe the cooks have changed. I do not anticipate returning to this restaurant. I feel there are many restaurants in Disney and we have eaten at a lot of them that would be better well spent.

Awesome place for gatherings

We enjoyed our dinner and Arianna the waitress, made it special! Thank you

Very nice atmosphere and outdoor seating is very nice overlooking water. Wait staff was very nice and food was delicious

The first experience that my family had at Frontera was a series of minor incidents that added up to an overall disappointment. However, we were invited back, and I must say that the management & staff, along with great food, turned our impressions around. The Grilled Red Snapper is fantastic. The rest of my family had a variety of menu choices and they were all quite good. The chef was able to make some needed accommodations for a food allergy as well, which was very much appreciated.

Had the best birthday celebration today. The best waiter Christopher brought my daughter a skull cake and serenaded her with mariachis. The drinks and food were great quality. Thank you so much for a memorable time.
-
Really good food. Drinks are amazing! We had the cauliflower tacos and stake tacos. Both really good. Staff is super friendly.
-
Amazing food and even better service from Sam. Our entire family all had a wonderful experience and wish we could come back again.

Sam was amazing
-
Our server was exceptional, her name is Samantha, excellent recommendations, fast service, it made our dinner experience way better. Highly recommend
-
Samantha made our dinner at Frontera Cocina absolutely outstanding! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and gave us perfect recommendations—the food was amazing from start to finish. Her positive energy and excellent service made our Disney Springs experience even more memorable. Samantha is a true Disney-level superstar, and we can’t wait to come back!

I have respect for Rick Bayless as a chef, but the chefs at his restauraunt do know how to cook Mexican food. This was not real Mexican food. We had taco bell the next day and I think that actually tasted more authentic and better when compared to this place.
-
Lo amo!! Mi restaurante favorito en Disney Spring!
-
Our party of 2 was seated in an outdoor area, we had great service from our waitress, and the food was delicious!
