Sorted newest-first, the ratings decline as you read up. How guests are treated cuts both ways here, averaging 3.9 among the reviews that raise it. Value for money is the next most common subject, in 25% of reviews (averaging 2.8).
5 stars is the modal score, given by 14 of the 24 reviewers who rated. Behind those, wait times is raised in 25% of reviews (2.5 average). 17 of 24 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 6 are two or lower.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (100/100), nothing cited at the most recent DBPR visit. That inspection was on May 8, 2026. The trend across inspections is improvement. That puts it ahead of 100% of graded kitchens in Orange County. Nothing was written up at that inspection at all.
Neither signal is decisive on its own here, which is why both are shown. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

Absolutely wonderful cuisine, top-of-the-line sushi chef Morimoto literally is an artist I loved it and I recommended to go any special occasion
-
5-stars for me. My waitress was courteous and the staff were friendly. Food and ambiance were just right. We were not disappointed.
-
Miiiiiiid for that price. Tried some exclusive special sashimi and it was not fresh or exclusive tasting lol. The yuzu marg was bad. The ribs were good!

Service was good, we enjoyed the lo mein, short rib, orange chicken, and fried rice. However, the spicy salmon sushi roll was not good, and disappointing for $18 & a small portion. Also they don’t have the passholder discount for dinner. Quite pricey for the portion, but expected in Disney.

I came here for a dinner reservation for 1 person. I arrived 15 minutes early. I then watched for the next 30 minutes 13 party’s be seated before me. After speaking with the hostess who didn’t ever realize I was waiting I opted to go eat at the bar instead. (To paint this picture, there was no one around to my eyes minus the parties that were seated after I got there. I came very early for dinner). After asking to take myself off the list, other hostesses were very snooty with me. Food had always been something I went out of my way to eat but after this experience I will not be coming back.

The food was good. We were on the meal plan so cost feels different. We had lovely cocktails and our entrees were plentiful. The Peking Duck was delicious but it felt pricey if we were paying cash. The Japanese cheesecake is the only dessert I would revisit. The churros were terrible. Our server was nice and very eager to help but it caused a number of delays and made lunch long.

Aiden was really nice and helpful. Helped us decide what to order. Very friendly.

Service was mediocre, food didn’t taste fresh, we sat down and had to engage with the bartender as if she was doing us a favor, very hard to differ why she gave us a flight of sake and use the sakes she wanted , she acted annoyed at all times and we ended up with a bill of 185 total for two people. Our rice came in late after we had finished our meal and didn’t see how she was even able to take our order with so many things she was doing. Service declined dramatically and food quality is subpar to say the least! Don’t recommend and even if you go in and sit fast at the bar! Did nt feel we got our moneys worth! Trash

My family regularly visits Disney Springs and we have been wanting to try this restaurant. Today we had the opportunity, and the entire experience from beginning to end was phenomenal.

Food was not great and slow service.

First time trying this place out and it was amazing! The scenery was beautiful and our waiter Eric was phenomenal! The food and drinks were great as well! I overall had an amazing experience due to my waiter being so kind and friendly! I’m definitely coming back to get the street food!

Best Shrimp appetizer ever? We used our Disney dining credit here for an amazing lunch. Each dish was flavorful and large. We had the house fried rice, the lobster Singapore noodles, and the yellow tail table-side bimibop. Old fashioned was delish and so was lychee martini. Desert was fantastic too. Cheese cake and churros amazing. Service was perfect too. So many good things going for this place and the Iron Chef!

My first visit to Morimoto Asia will very likely be my last. I had the misfortune of being seated by one of the worst members of waitstaff I have ever encountered. From the moment I sat down, the experience was ruined by his arrogance, rudeness, and overall disrespectful attitude. Instead of making guests feel welcome, he carried himself as though he was looking down on the very people he was supposed to be serving. My party was seated near what appeared to be the server station. As I was quietly looking over the menu and deciding what I wanted to order, this employee approached and made a comment that was so inappropriate and off-putting that I would rather not repeat it. I was genuinely disgusted by the interaction. Unfortunately, I did not catch his name, but he had brown skin, a beard, and somewhat fuzzy or curly hair. Management should have no trouble identifying who was working that section during the time of my visit. What made this experience even more disappointing is that Morimoto Asia positions itself as a premium dining destination with premium prices. When a restaurant charges those kinds of prices, customers reasonably expect professional, courteous service. Instead, I was met with hostility and disrespect before I even had the chance to place an order. The interaction was so unpleasant that I chose to leave rather than spend my money supporting that kind of behavior. No guest should feel unwelcome, insulted, or looked down upon simply for sitting down at a…

I tried Peking Duck, Lobster Noodles, and Fried Rice. Compared to the other two dishes, the fried rice wasn't as outstanding. A glass of Matcha Raku was enough to win over a matcha lover like me.

Food was decent but nothing to write home about. We probably won’t come back on our next trip.
-
Absolutely gorgeous place with phenomenal twist on asian food. Absolute must try!!!!

Tung was an amazing server. Pleasant to be around, courteous, and a keeper for sure. Great job!

Very pretty interior design, and attractive plating. The dishes offered are pan-Asian fusion, which means a lot of the dishes offered are white-washed, so do not come here if you are seeking classic or traditional Asian dishes. Regardless, the food was tasty, especially the duck and ribs! There is room for improvement in the way they serve their tartare; the presentation is beautiful, but there is no way to share with the table as they only give you one spoon, and no crisps or crackers. The dish is an appetizer and should be able to accommodate the entire table, not just one person.

Ignore the haters! This place is great. We had a wonderful time here with excellent food. On a past trip to Disney Springs, we actually skipped the sit-down restaurants due to the low reviews. But those ratings are not accurate! I think many folks are having anxiety-induced psychosis due to the stress of their vacations and they take it out on the expensive restaurants. Disregard the low reviews and dine here, it was excellent. We had the ribs (9/10), Singapore lobster noodles (9/10), lo mein (8/10), and the popcorn shrimp (8/10). A little pricey but within Disney norms. Staff were very helpful, the decor is awesome, etc. Don't miss this place!

Darwin was absolutely amazing! He was friendly, welcoming, professional, and made us feel taken care of from the moment we sat down. His recommendations were spot on and ended up being some of our favorite parts of the meal. We’ve filled out a lot of restaurant surveys over the years, and honestly, we’ve never had a server as great as Darwin. He really understands what good customer service is all about and knows exactly how to make guests feel comfortable and valued. Darwin went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He would be an excellent trainer because he truly gets what it takes to provide outstanding service. Your team is lucky to have him! Thank you, Darwin, for making our visit such a great one. We can’t wait to come back!

This place is truly amazing. We just made our second visit to Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs for our anniversary and it surpassed the already high bar we set in our memories. We split the Toku-Jyo Sushi Platter with a pitcher of sake sangria. Everything (plus some fishy ice cream) was left scraped down to clean plates. Folks in the party nervous of some new tastes? The lo-mein and orange chicken are super nostalgic and great for those looking for familiar flavors. Throughout our dinner we had different smells of smoke and fire and fruit. Our server Chein was above and beyond in terms of care. She checked our ID’s and instantly connected with us over shared birthdays in our families and even remembered both of our birth dates when recounting the story to her coworker Katy that visited the table. We had a super fun time getting to know more about her and it felt like she truly cared about our experience as guests. Overall we were left blown away yet again by the attention to detail that Morimoto Asia brings with an absolutely stunning collection to fresh fish, pheonomenal soups, and stunning plates all around. Book this location for one of the best dining experiences available in Disney Springs!

The food and drinks were excellent, and the restaurant is beautiful and well maintained (deserving of its Michelin recognition). That said, the service was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! Tyanna was hands down the best server I’ve had in a long time… Her knowledge of the menu, recommendations - and follow through with one of our party who is gluten and dairy sensitive - pacing, and overall attention to detail were the best I recall experiencing in years (and this is at Disney - where often service is second to the theme/experience). I would offer her a job if I owned/operated a restaurant!

Unfortunately we sat at the upper bar for 10 minutes with no service. Let down and we left.
