Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
Diners writing about this place keep returning to how guests are treated. Where how guests are treated comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.4, so it reads as a strength. Speed of service is the next most common subject, in 30% of reviews (averaging 4.0).
Conspicuously absent: portion size, which no reviewer brings up. 5 stars is the modal score, given by 15 of the 20 reviewers who rated. 17 of 20 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 2 are two or lower.
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (96/100) with 1 intermediate and 1 basic violations. That inspection was on April 9, 2026. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 66% of the restaurants we score. Among the items recorded were food-contact surfaces clean and sanitized and nonfood-contact surfaces clean.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Read the originals below and judge the pattern yourself.

Cute place and great food for brunch! Mr. T. (Tyrone) was our server and took great care of us!

This has become one of my family's favorite brunch locations on Disney property. We love everything from the atmosphere to the service to the food. Service here is always fast and friendly. The food is amazing. The island vibes makes this place so relaxing. Reservations are usually easy to grab here also so definitely check this place out on your next Disney trip.

Key west theme. Good food and service.

We recently dined at Olivia's Cafe at Disney Vacation Club and overall had a wonderful experience. The food was absolutely fabulous, and there were several standout items that our entire party enjoyed. The grits were hands-down my favorite—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The coffee was also exceptionally tasty and a great way to start the meal. Everyone at our table loved the chicken and the Mickey Mouse waffles, which were both delicious and well-prepared. The majority of the staff provided excellent service and made us feel welcome. Our server, Mallory, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our visit. Tyrone and Ben were also fantastic and contributed greatly to our positive experience. Unfortunately, our experience began on a disappointing note with the hostess, Jennifer (red hair, yellow sweater). She came across as extremely unpleasant and unwelcoming, which was surprising given Disney's reputation for exceptional guest service. Her demeanor did not reflect the hospitality we experienced from the rest of the team and is something that should be addressed. Despite that initial interaction, the excellent food and outstanding service from the rest of the staff made for an enjoyable dining experience. We would gladly return and recommend Olivia's Cafe, hoping that future guests receive the same warm welcome from the front of the house as they do from the dining staff.

Service was good. I got the conch fritters; they were a little spicy and soft, but the flavor was good, especially the sauce they come with. I also tried a bite of my mother's banana French toast, and that was good as well.

Olivia’s is a bit of a hidden gem on Disney property in that it’s really great food, really fast. You rarely ever have to wait at lunchtime, and appetizers and entrees come rolling right out. We always order a basket of conch fritters, and their southern fried chicken has been a favorite on the menu for years. Mickey waffles with French fries? Why not. You’re on vacation. Parking can occasionally be scarce, but it’s a short walk to the next set of villas if you can’t find a spot near check-in area.

Jesus is an amazing server. He's on top of everything. Your drinks won't go empty and anything you need he'll take care of immediately. He's so good. The coconut bread is yummy. Fresh. Warm. Really enjoyable. Shrimp and grits -- fabulous. Had this twice and each time so good. Not overly spicy just perfect. The hamburger also a great choice. Fries to burger -- the whole plate worth it. Even the condiments (pickles, lettuce) fresh and good. Sadly, prime rib and bananas foster were a let down. The mashed potatoes have a beautiful presentation but they actually taste watered down. So bland. The brocolini is OK. But I mean, it's buttered so you can't go wrong there. The prime rib is very seasoned on the crust. A bit too salty. The temp was perfect. And the amount of fat minimal. Just overall not wowed by the dish. The bananas foster bread was really tough and dry. 😔 we were really excited but this wasn't good. From the crust to the inside bread all of it was dry. The bananas were fine, caramelized fine, ice cream ok. The location is amazing!!!! Perfect spot.

Be careful using the app here. They won't give you the drinks or alcoholic beverages included on the dining plan. Then what should be considered as quick service at a pickup window is considered as table service. It's Disney wide issue here and needs an overall in th Guest Relations department.

As regulars at Disney, we frequent Old Key West and love coming to Olivia's. We love the staff, Tracy, Jennifer, Melissa, and especially Mr T, oh and I can't forget Daniel! There is not a bad item on the menu. Love our Dianey family!

Great place, chef was very attentive to are allergy needs, place is the best. Never miss going there when at Disney.
-
We had breakfast there before going to the airport.

After reading some of these reviews I’m thinking this place is all about what you order. I had the banana bread French toast and it was excellent. Service was 5-star as well, absolutely no complaints. Server recommended the chicken and waffles and I’ll have to come back some time and use my cast discount to try them.

We were staying at Port Orleans and decided to have breakfast at Olivia‘s on our final day and we were not disappointed. The service was excellent and our food was so good. My husband got the fried chicken breakfast and told me next time we’re at Disney, we’ll be eating breakfast again at Olivia‘s.

Extremely slow service, never checked on us and we had to get another waitstaff to get out check, never got more drinks and food was below average

Loved our server, Becky. We've been several times but not for brunch. As always, we were not disappointed.

Love Olivia’s. Closest thing to a “normal,” hometown diner/restaurant on property. I love the immersive nature of Disney and its theme restaurants, but sometimes you just want to feel like you’re on vacation and enjoy the warmth, comfort, and relaxed atmosphere of FL like you will at Olivia’s! Their brunch is a cheat code. Buttermilk chicken & waffles were delicious and my wife gave the banana bread French toast a glowing review. Becky from Cape May, NJ was our server. She remembered us from our anniversary trip several months ago! Such a sweetheart. Definitely a must-stop during our Disney trips from here on out.
