What diners say — our read

The 4.3-star average is misleading — almost nobody actually rated it that. Where front-of-house comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.5, so it reads as a strength. Cleanliness follows at 46% of reviews, where ratings average 4.3.

Behind those, how food arrives is raised in 27% of reviews (4.4 average). The single most common rating left here is 5 stars (20 of 25). Of the 25 rated reviews, 20 sit at four stars or better and 4 at two or below.

The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (100/100) and no violations cited. The visit behind that grade was May 15, 2026. Ranked against Orange County, it is safer than 100% of the restaurants we score. The inspector left without citing anything — worth noting, since most visits find something.

Nothing here pulls in opposite directions — an unusually clean read. Full reviews follow below in the order they were left.

Went for an overnight excursion to Disney springs and this place was a close walk to the area. The downstairs bar had kind bartenders, they gave two free drink tickets, and the selection of booze was varied. IF you go to the bar you MUST get the chicken wings with the dry rub... Delish. The room was spacious and comfortable. Would certainly book here again.

My family and I traveled from Houston to Orlando for a Disney vacation, and our stay at the Renaissance Orlando at Disney Springs was made unforgettable because of one amazing manager—Amber. When we first checked in, I wasn’t happy with the room we were assigned. In fact, I was seriously considering checking out on the very first day and finding another hotel. Instead of letting us leave disappointed, Amber took the time to listen to our concerns and said, “Let me find a room that meets your standards.” She personally walked us through three different rooms and encouraged us to choose the one we liked best. That level of customer service is almost impossible to find these days. She didn’t just solve a problem—she completely changed the direction of our vacation. From that moment on, Amber and the staff made sure my family had an incredible experience. The complimentary shuttle service to the Disney parks made everything convenient, and every interaction made us feel like valued guests. Amber’s kindness, professionalism, and genuine care turned what started as a disappointing arrival into one of the best family vacations we’ve ever had. She truly went above and beyond, and she’s a perfect example of what outstanding hospitality should look like. Thank you, Amber, for making our family feel at home while we were so far away from Houston. Because of you, we’ll definitely be back and will recommend the Renaissance Orlando at Disney Springs to anyone visiting Disney. You made…

I had a wonderful experience at American Kitchen Bar & Grill! From the moment I arrived, Katrina, the host, gave me a warm welcome and made me feel right at home. My servers, Andres and Nicolos, provided outstanding customer service. They were friendly, attentive, and took the time to explain the menu and answer all of my questions. Their professionalism and hospitality made my dining experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant was clean, inviting, and had a great atmosphere. The food was fresh, flavorful, and prepared perfectly. Overall, I had an excellent experience and highly recommend American Kitchen Bar & Grill to anyone staying at the Renaissance Orlando Resort & Spa Disney Springs. I look forward to dining here again!

Wow! What a superb hotel for a Disney vacation. We stayed there in June and had a really great time. The hotel is on Hotel Boulevard just a few minutes walk to Disney Springs. Plenty of self parking and a warm welcome each time you walk through the lobby. The rooms are clean, large and very comfortable with all the usual expected amenities and services. Make sure you say hello to Byron on the front desk. He is friendly, attentive and a future leader in this industry. I have never met anybody who delivers such a genuine level of customer service. Also, Louis and Tiffany in the coffee shop are extremely welcoming and engaging and will happily chat to you as they make your Starbucks coffee for you (1 free per guest per day) Both Louis and Tiffany are amazingly kind people who added immensely to our pleasurable vacation. I hope that the management at this hotel recognise and reward Byron, Louis and Tiffany as staff of this calibre are hard to find and retain in these times.

I’ve been to this property twice in the last year. Once as a family for a few day stop at the Disney parks, and most recently for a business conference. Both times I left incredibly impressed with the hotel. Most notably, the property has been recently renovated and the guest rooms and main areas (hallways, restaurant, etc) are in excellent condition and also smell great! The staff is also very friendly and attentive. In particular, Karren the bartender left quite the impression. He’s a great conversationalist, had great recommendations, and is authentic as they come. The pool area is also very nice. If you are coming to Disney with your family and want many of the amenities of a Disney property (shuttles, early entry, proximity, etc) but don’t want to pay extra for dated options, this is definitely the way to go!

Its clean, staff is friendly and its Orlando...its not their fault that the traffic is horrendous!

If you need Air conditioning in your hotel room, avoid this hotel, especially in summer months. The ac is designed to cut off when no one is in the room. And the sliding doors have a clip that doesn’t allow you to slide it open. We dropped the temp then left the room and 6 hours later upon returning, the room was hotter than it was when we left. But here’s the problem. When you are sleeping it thinks the room is empty and it shuts off. Eventually the heat will awaken you and you must continuously fumble with the temp buttons on the thermostat to get it to start blowing cooler air. The front desk sent maintenance who says that’s just the way the rooms are set up now. They moved us to a different room with the same problem. So after being hot all night and unable to sleep add the fact that the curtains let the sun in on the edges along the walls to the point where the entire room lights up. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had in the Disney Springs area. We’re supposed to stay another night but at this point I just want to go home.

This is my second time staying here, and the hospitality is a big reason why I keep coming back! This time, Manuela at the front desk greeted us with a warm smile and made our stay seamless. During my previous stay, Sasha and Savannah were also incredibly helpful. The team here is consistently welcoming, kind, and professional. Love the hospitality here and would definitely recommend staying here!

We booked for a 5 night stay for our daughter's volleyball tournament at the OCCC. Servers at the American Market like Nicolas, and hostess Katrina are the best! We ordered our breakfast to go and they made sure we got everything all we need especially for our girls.

The hotel made my stay in Orlando infinitely better. The room was spacious and clean with everything that I needed for my stay. The property as a whole is clean and well taken care of. The best part of the property is by far the restaurant. The service was impeccable every night for dinner, even when it was super busy due to a convention at the hotel. Two of the bartenders, Karren, Sarah and Alan made it feel like I was right at home every night! 🍺🍺🍺 Thanks again and I would definately stay again!

First time visitor to this Hotel. Every single employee was very kind, welcoming and professional. Our room was comfy, clean and nice hot shower. Breakfast Buffet was delicious and easy. Highly recommend this Hotel. We are lifetime Marriott guests and we will return. Thank you!!!

    Great hotel, and great location

  • June 15, 2026

Stayed for a work event. Dirty rooms (found hair everywhere), VERY thin walls where I could hear everything from all directions (even whispers could be heard), the door to the ‘balcony’ area on the first floor had trouble locking so struggled with it every night since it faced the parking lot so anyone could walk in through the door. Absolutely will avoid going forward

We are Titanium Elite with Marriott and always choose the brand when we can. We had a wonderful week here at the Renaissance Orlando Resort! Our room had a view of the fireworks every night! Having a shuttle bus to Disney made it easy to get to the parks every day. Breakfast was amazing and the Mickey Waffles were the perfect touch! Our server Luz was always delightful and our host Katrina always greeted us with a smile. Thank you to the entire staff here for helping making this week memorable!

The Renaissance Disney Springs was the host for our company conference and their attention to detail and genuine hospitality exceeded all expectations!

  • June 9, 2026

    Very clean and friendly people.

  • June 7, 2026

We absolutely loved our stay at the Renaissance Hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and welcoming from the moment you arrive. Our room was very large and comfortable, and having a balcony made it even better.||The Lanai room was fantastic and well worth it. The pool area was also excellent — large, relaxing, and perfect for families. Our son absolutely loved spending time there every day.||We genuinely could not fault the hotel at all. The staff, atmosphere, facilities, and overall experience were wonderful. We had such a lovely stay and would happily return again in the future. Highly recommended!

Here on a weekend getaway with my adult daughter & having the best time! The staff at the front desk are super friendly & helpful. The room is clean & quiet. We had breakfast @ the Kitchen restaurant both days & the food is fresh & delicious. Loved our server Luz in particular! So warm & personable. Our hostess Katrina is great as well! The pool area is very nice. The bartender makes a great drink & the events coordinator put together some fun activities! Love the extended pool hours - it was a hot day at Universal so we took a dip @ 9pm. Disney Springs is a short walk from the hotel - great location! We’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Greg in valet was exceptionally helpful, Ruben from engineering went out of his way to make us feel welcome and engaged, and Kay and Nicolas provided outstanding service at breakfast. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our experience easy, enjoyable, and memorable. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so pleasant.

    Super convenient and accessible.

  • June 6, 2026

The hotel team has been amazing. Great visit. The room was very nice and walking to Disney Springs is very close. Highly recommended.

  • May 29, 2026

One of the only times I have stayed off Disney property, usually I like the convenience of free parking at the parks as the Disney perk although you pay to park at the resort. The Renaissance does offer bus service that you need to sign in for daily, but it is efficient as long as you schedule around the hourly pickup. Rooms are clean and hotel is decent though may be time to update a few things. The best thing is the service. Kudos to Emily at the front desk on check in, very helpful. Also to the bar staff, Karren, Allen, and Saarah. All super friendly and personable. Made us feel right at home. Until next time!

We stayed at the Renaissance Orlando Resort for our recent trip to Disney World. The location and shuttle service are great and front desk staff was friendly. With that said: 1. Be aware that you will be paying $35 per night for parking and a $42 per night resort fee. 2. After checking in, I had to go down to the front desk to ask for shampoo, conditioner, soap, toilet paper, and blankets for the bunk beds. I would have called, but the phone wasn't working either. 3. There was a fire alarm in the evening and the whole hotel had to evacuate. The firemen that showed up looked PISSED and walked in, shut it off, and left. After asking a hotel worker it turns out it has happened a lot and there's some sort of issue with the system. 4. The A/C went out on our entire side of the hotel at around 9pm and we had to move rooms. We went from a nice king size bed with two bunk beds for my boys to one of my boys having to sleep on the worst sleeper sofa known to mankind. 5. I bought a bottle of water at the gift store. It was the same price as Disney World but the ride Marriott took my family on during this stay was much less enjoyable. 6. There is no included breakfast like most Marriott brand hotels which are far cheaper and nicer. I'll stay at Comfort Inn or Motel 6 before I'd stay here again.

  • May 28, 2026

Location of the hotel was great, but the rooms were very dated and generally not clean. Build up of dust on surfaces, debris and stains on carpet, mini fridge with spill inside, and a strip of false eyelashes, used kleenex and dental floss from the previous guest in the bathroom. Advised hotel staff of the condition of the room. The items were finally picked up by housekeeping on day 3 but thorough cleaning of the room didn't happen at all during my 5 night stay. Would not recommend.
