Fiemr the best desert around the parks and resorts! Kona Grill for the win!

We recently stayed at the Polynesian Island Tower. One in our party required mobility accessible room. The room was fantastic as far as area to maneuver! That is sometimes something we encounter at other resorts. The only complaint we had, which was relatively minor as we could make other arrangements, was that the shower was a tub and not a roll in shower. Overall the resort is beautiful, the kids loved the pool areas and the access to transportation was awesome! There were a few hiccups due to construction, but that just means we will have to return to see the updates!

We went there for the Ohana breakfast last week for the 1st time. The property and building are beautiful, the service at Ohana was wonderful and my kids were able to get pictures and interact with all of the characters. The food was good and came quickly. My only complaint was the sausage seemed undercooked.

The bounce back programmed when we requested it. They told us that we weren’t eligible for November. We were coming back with our family of 16 people we requested to stay at the Polynesian. They told us that there was no rooms available when we requested the bounce back the day we were there. I don’t understand the program. Can you please give me feedback on this? One of our upmost favorite magical experiences within our entire family vacations. Truly we didn’t want to leave our cousins! Lawrence and his cast member along side the cafe staff were very pleasurable. Even when we arrived, the lobby cast members and front desk were so lovely and even gave us a tour of the property. The room was spotless and roomy and accommodated our family’s needs as well as felt cozy. The hotel was quiet yet managed to let families be families. Everyone was so willing to help and was so calm and happy. I absolutely loved the decor and all the Disney touches…. Truly I was inspired to decorate my place! 5 Stars no doubt! What a great view too!! And convenient monorail drop hope on and drop off!

Most people writing these typically start with the positives but with a small amount of research it is obvious that the few positives are the location which includes the monorail and lastly the dining. The negatives, however , far outweigh the benefits of a shorter ride to MK. The biggest and most egregious issue is the noise level. We stayed club level 3rd floor and all day everyday all you hear in your room is the slamming of doors and loud tromping up and down the halls. It does not stop. Ever. So if you are the type of Disney goer that likes a mid day rest before dinner or going back to the park, I hope you aren’t a light sleeper. It truly is impossible for even a 15 minute stretch of not hearing a door slam and we pack a white noise machine when we travel and it could not even stifle it. Next is the bathroom size and shower. There is zero room for your items in the bathrooms and our room in particular didn’t have a fully functioning shower and the wall paper was peeling in the shower itself. All this to say when you are paying a premium price you at minimum expect and peaceful night sleep and a decent shower. The staff we very lovely and accommodating and honestly tried their best but the entire vibe of this resort is chaos and we definitely won’t be returning. We come to Disney almost every year and we wanted to try a new resort and it did not meet our expectations. We’ll be sticking with our usual French Quarter from here on out.

A truly magical place to stay with your family and brought me back to such fond memories staying here with my family in the 1990s. It makes you feel like you are on a vacation during your vacation. The pool, the ceremonial house, the Dole Whip. It is amazing.

We loved staying at the Polynesian Resort. The rooms were beautiful, the pools were great, the grounds were amazing, the staff were absolutely fantastic. And the trip to MK was so easy. The biggest issue we had was for 4 restaurants on property the food was very repetitive and lacking sufficient options for vegetarians and kids (what happened to grilled cheese?). I will also note housekeeping was very delayed. We would be at the park until 3 and when we returned housekeeping wasn’t done and at that point we didn’t want them to come in as we were relaxing. Wish they had come earlier in the day. I would highly recommend the resort and we loved the tower but if you have someone in your group struggling with walking it is a bit of a trek from the main building.

We had a great trip. The room could use a little TLC but overall it was in very good condition and we liked the location of Tokelau quite a bit. It was close to the Ceremonial House and adjacent to the quiet pool. This was convenient for all of the transportation options. There was also plenty of food options nearby or a short monorail trip away. Everyone at the rest was very friendly.

I was so excited to visit the Poly for the first time. Unfortunately the experience wasn't all I'd hoped it would be. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived, so our bags were stored .....somewhere. After waiting quite awhile for our room, still wearing our airplane clothes, we decided maybe we'd go swimming. When I went to try our luggage, no one seemed to be able to help. Luckily our room was ready within an hour of that exchange. It look at least another hour for us to get our luggage. We missed our first dinner reservation because of the delays at the property. I did find the resort to be beautiful but way too crowded. We looked forward to fireworks on the beach. All available chairs were taken well before fireworks started, so we made the best of it and sat in the sand with not even a towel underneath us. I requested a third floor room. We got a 2nd floor room. Every morning we heard loud beeping from conversation equipment right outside our window. This was not the magical vacation I hoped it would be and certainly not worth the premium price we paid. Probably won't be back to the Poly and watching social media closely before deciding if we'll be back to WDW at all.

We loved meeting, Stitch and Mickey and Lilo and Pluto. The food was delicious Chef. Eric is the best. You should check out this food and fun.

One of the best hotels ever! Honestly!

We stayed club level at Polynesian in the Hawaii building. We arrived early and got checked in and waited for our room. After several hours of waiting in the lounge we were told my a worker Lauren if my 5 year old didn't have shoes on he couldn't come back in lounge mind you he only got out of his wagon one time im 3-4 hours. I explained to her he was special needs and we weren't just being rule breakers there was no compassion or anything helpful offered. So the remainder of the trip he never entered the lounge again because we weren't comfortable so what a way to start off a trip. The concierge couldn't help us with info about a stroller wagon pass for special needs because they said they never heard of one but the main lobby told us all about. I find it funny we got more help out of the main lobby than the concierge desk and you pay more for concierge. My family was not greeted with lais we had to go back in main lobby and ask. While this wasn't my first time here it was for some of my family. Upon the rest of the week you had people in dripping wet swimsuits and half dressed leaning over the food in the lounge and barefoot and nothing was said to them. I felt discriminated against because my child was treated unfairly. I want there to be more education given to employees on special needs children especially autistic children. This was heartbreaking that we felt shamed and were unable to take him back in the lounge, mainly because we were excited he could watch fireworks…

I enjoyed my time and love the experience, would definitely come back!!!
