These 24 reviews do not converge on a single verdict. How food arrives cuts both ways here, averaging 3.3 among the reviews that raise it. How guests are treated follows at 25% of reviews, where ratings average 3.3.
Whether it is worth the money shows up in 25% of reviews as well, averaging 2.7. More reviewers landed on 5 stars than any other score — 13 of 24. 17 of 24 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 4 are two or lower.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (96/100), 4 basic violations at the most recent DBPR visit. That result dates from January 8, 2026. Its inspection trajectory is downward over the records we hold. Ranked against Seminole County, it is safer than 67% of the restaurants we score. What the inspector actually wrote up: dishwashing facilities and nonfood-contact surfaces clean.
This is a listing where the two measures each tell half the story. The reviews themselves follow, unedited and newest first.

We ordered the Salmon Sandwich and the Carmela at the Lake Mary, Florida location and both of these were the best we’ve ever tasted at a Jason’s Deli. We definitely had the “that hit the spot” feeling tonight!
-
Deja and staff were wonderful! Our meals came out as ordered and delicious! 100/10 recommend !

This place had problems with the accuracy and timeliness of their orders in the past, but now that Ms. Nicole works here, it’s one of my favorite places to go! She is thorough and very careful with allergies, and always super kind!

The food was good. Forgot to take a picture of my sandwich but the strawberry shortcake was so pretty and tasted fresh.

Atmosphere got a 3 Star because even though the salad bar was beautiful and very clean and organized, they had 3-4 booths that had piles of dirty dishes. If they didn't have all the dirty dishes, it would get a 5 star. Loved the Salad bar and soft serve ice cream machine.

This was the first time I've visited this particular Jason's Deli location. It was clean, had good service, and good food. It's a bit pricey for what you get, but then again where isn't it expensive these days, right? I ordered the "Reuben the Great," managers special. The Reuben was good but small, the chips were chips, and the pasta salad was just ok. The free ice cream (self serve) may have been the highlight!

Decided to stop in this location (Lake Mary, FL) on a whim. Ordered the combo with the ranchero wrap. Girl at register couldn't understand a simple question of "who do we tell what type of chips we want?" While waiting for our take-out there was a girl by where they are making the food talking EXTREMELY loud about personal issues. Had to listen to her complain about her family. How her mother did everything for her brother(s), how her mother wouldn't take her to games/practices, how her mother is a hypocrite, etc., etc. Don't want to listen to that when out trying to enjoy our day. We weren't even that close to her and could hear her very well. On one of the seat waiting for take-out there was trash from Dunkin Donuts and somewhere else on the chair and nobody cleaned it up. Was told a few times it shouldn't have taken as long as it did to get our food. When handed our food the woman mentioned a different sandwich so, we asked her about it and she looked at us like we had three heads and annoyed. We got "well it's whatever sandwich you wanted with the pot pie soup" in an annoyed voice. As for the food, it's wasn't bad but barely any chicken. The wrap was not "wrapped" and most of the ingredients fell out. Made a mess to eat. But feel the amount given on the wrap not worth the price or a trip back.

Saturday May 2nd, 2026 my coworkers and I ordered from here. One of my coworkers suggested we split a moose. After splitting the moose into two I just happened to take my spoon and get the bottom rim of the cup. The moose has chocolate chips in it so I expected to bite on something hard. What I didn't expect was to pull a real human nail out of my mouth!! I called the store and spoke to a manager he was about as shocked as I was and did refund my money however the violation I feel from this a refund of what I paid seems minimal. I will never eat at this location nor at ANY other Jason's Deli ever.

Had a great experience at Jason’s Deli. The portions were generous, the food tasted fresh, and there were many menu options for different preferences. The salad bar was clean and had a nice variety. Staff was friendly, and the free ice cream was a fun bonus after the meal. Nice casual place for lunch or dinner. Would come back again.

We went there for the salad bar. Sadly, no plan black olives, but their pickles were amazing as always. Although the lettuce was good, the spring mix and spinach had some wilting pieces in it. The ranch also wasn't quite as good as usual. Thankfully, the jalapeño ranch covered up some discrepancies. We were sad to say that the ranch tasted more like bottled ranch. I hope they did not change their recipe and someone made a mistake with that batch because it used to taste a lot better. They did have cucumbers sliced 2 different ways, green olives, boiled egg, broccoli, cauliflower, grape tomatoes, pasta salad, potato salad, pineapple, croutons, craisin mixture, nuts, sunflower seeds, and 3 different crackers for soup, among other items. They tend to have a boutique 8 different dressings to chose from. However, we did learn to not sit next to the window. Although they have a shade up, it gets quite hot and the salad bar seems to prevent the AC from reaching those tables if it was working properly. As always though, the best part for me was the free ice cream. I had one with the cone and one without. If u have the salad bar, you can also get the fruit that pairs nicely with the ice cream.

Having wet at various locations up and down the coast, I can say with experience that this is the absolute worst Jason’s Deli I have ever been to. Today was the last time I spend one dollar there. I placed a curbside order on their app for my favorite wrap. Curbside pickup was the plan. I responded to the text to say o had arrived and my “food” sat at the counter getting cold while I waited in the spot for someone to bring my food. They never did. When I went inside I saw my bag and the manager was standing right next to it. I said I guess curbside just wasn’t happening eh? She said she had had a rough day and the app has been phased out. Hmmm…the Ranchero wrap I had was filled with jalapeños, which I asked on the APP that it be removed, the chicken was a stringy version and it tasted like wax. The strawberry shortcake barely has any whipped cream on it. Every time I have placed an order here, something is wrong with it. There’s no amount of “free” “ice cream” that is worth wasting my money on with this location. Like your app, I too am phasing out of visiting this location ever again. Thanks for nothing.

GREAT Salad Bar !! 🥗

I stopped in here with my daughter who's always wanted to eat here. We both enjoyed everything about Jason's Deli, but unfortunately I didn't get to have the free ice cream cone before leaving. Next time I'll be sure to grab one. 😆

I ordered a plain Jane with no bacon and no green onions and all I got was cheese. There was no sour cream and no butter on the potato. The cheese was really thick and stuck together like it was oily cheese and the potato was really dry and chunky like it wasn’t fully cooked or old. The last time I came here I ordered a bowl of soup that was eight dollars and looks like a cup of soup. There was no way that that soup was worth eight dollars or this potato worth $12. I understand food prices have gone up, but if you’re going to charge a lot then you should probably make sure that the quality is good.
