Community Rating
Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
People either love this place or they do not, and the ratings show it. How guests are treated tends to be raised approvingly here, averaging 4.6 stars. After that, how much food arrives appears most often — 27% of the corpus, averaging 4.3.
Conspicuously absent: cleanliness, which no reviewer brings up. 20 of 22 rated reviews are four stars or higher; 2 are two or lower. 5 stars is the modal score, given by 20 of the 22 reviewers who rated.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (100/100), nothing cited at the most recent DBPR visit. That inspection was on March 11, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is declining, which argues for reading the older reviews with caution. Ranked against Seminole County, it is safer than 100% of the restaurants we score. Nothing was written up at that inspection at all.
Nothing here pulls in opposite directions — an unusually clean read. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

My wife and I are regular customers at Cafe Paisano's, and every visit is outstanding. The food, service, and atmosphere are consistently excellent. Today, I tried the Stromboli for the first time, and it was absolutely delicious! I also highly recommend the Dijon mussels. Dipping the garlic bread into the sauce is an incredible experience—it's so good that it's addictive! Cafe Paisano's continues to be one of our favorite restaurants, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

We are obsessed with this spot! The food and service are always amazing. Found this place looking for a spot with good bruschetta and have been coming back once (sometimes twice) a week since then. A must try!

This photo is from our last visit. I had the Italian Original sub cold and my husband had his favorite the Sausage Siciliana hot of course. Both were excellent as always.

Food was delicious and Brielle was great great!

Nice crust on the pizza, and I know there’s a lot of haters when it comes to pineapple, but that and some Texas Pete is a winning combination. I usually go to Dough boys across the street but this is good too and with a lot more other food options. Very nice inside and the people are great. I’m really enjoying the Hawaiian Hottie from their specialty list.

Came for Mother’s Day tonight and loved it!

It’s a small restaurant, but the service is top notch! our server, think her name was Autum, was excellent! The food was amazing and lord have mercy that tiramisu dessert was to die for !!! 100% recommend !

Love it here, brings me memories about New York City style food and the garlic knots😋

This used to be my go to Italian place in Longwood! I ordered To Go chicken picata which is my usual and when I got back to work however they packaged it had leaked everywhere through the paper bag onto my seat. I deal with that I go to eat and it is the most watered down sauce you can imagine. This is after already reeling from having to pay $19!!! for the "lunch" portion.

Second time here for five of us. The food was very good and the service was excellent as our waitress went above and beyond and very friendly the whole time. We started with the Calamari which has two sauces, both good, and the Cheesy Knots, also good. For mains three of us had the Deluxe Calzone that was very good and large, we all took some home. Others had Chicken Parm and a house salad. The salad was fresh and the chicken dish was good as well. We sat outside with our dog and never felt neglected. The waitress came with drinks and often refilled them and also brought water for the dog twice. Nice to experience such great service. We will be back.

This was our first time visiting cafe paisano and it did not disappoint. Initially we sat outside but decided inside would be better and our server Lori was very sweet and accommodating. We ordered the cheesy garlic knots and let me tell you SO GOOD. Main course was a large Bistecca pizza and again pizza was delicious and so flavorful. We closed up with taking a slice of their chocolate cake to go which was definitely rich. Overall lovely little gem and we definitely will be back soon.

I've been coming here for a number of years for lunch and dinner. I love the food and the friendly service from Jennifer (currently on leave), Autumn and Ava who take wonderful care of me the second I step through the door. I love all the meals I have ordered and the portions are generous, no skimping on the meat either unlike other places where you have to hunt to find it. Here there is plenty of it! When Ava brought me my cheesecake with raspberry drizzle the other day I couldn't resist taking a photo and posting it. It tastes even better than it looks. Try it, I guarantee you'll like it if you enjoy good homemade Italian food from a small family owned establishment. 182 W State Road 434, Ste 1000, Longwood, FL 32750-5180

Outstanding. The fried haddock on Friday's is just like up north, the food is consistently great every time.
