Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
This listing's ratings cluster at the two ends of the scale. Where service comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.7, so it reads as a strength.
Newer reviews score better than older ones (4.9 recent against 4.4 earlier), so direction is worth weighing alongside the average. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (20 reviews).
The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (92/100) with 2 intermediate and 2 basic violations. DBPR last walked in on June 11, 2026. That puts it ahead of 49% of graded kitchens in Orange County. The citations behind that grade include dishwashing facilities.
With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. The individual reviews are below, newest first, if you want the raw material.

06/29/2026 - Yum. Came in for lunch and sat in a booth in the bar. Issac was a very good server - knowledgeable and friendly. The Roasted Snapper over a fresh corn saute was delicious. So was the Mango Sorbet and Key Lime Pie. We'll be back. Updated 04/11/2024 - Yum. Came in for dinner. Sarah was a great server, helpful, knowledgable, and friendly. We both had Caesar Salads which were delicious with seasoned Bread Crumbs instead of Croutons. I had extra anchovies added and they were wonderful. My friend had the Flatiron Steak Frites and I had the Texas Redfish with Black Lentils. The Redfish was sauteed until crispy and cooked to perfection. My friend had the Key Lime Pie which was very good and I had a Meyers Lemon Pudding. Yum. We were very impressed and very satisfied. 5/21/2023 - Came in for lunch. Sat in a booth in the bar. Had a Caesar Salad with Grilled Shrimp added. The Romaine was really rusty on the ends, the dressing was good. The Shrimp were flavorful but not they seemed under-cooked a touch and were only so-so. My friend loved his Quiche and Grilled Escarole Salad. Our Server, Cat, was about a two at best. She seemed like she didn't like being a server or working a Sunday lunch. P.S. Got a meh response from management. ----------------- Yum. Came in with a friend for lunch the other day. Sat in a booth by the bar. My friend had a Lunch Box with the Calamari Lettuce Wrap and Grilled Romaine and French Fries. That came with Coffee and Soft Serve Orange Sherbet…

Our first time at Luke’s. I requested that my Wife and I could sit next to each other when I made the reservation. Upon arrival to Luke’s we were seated in a half moon shaped booth that was absolutely perfect. The service was incredible. The food was amazing. Highlighting our dinner was upbeat music playing. Just a very enjoyable place to dine. We definitely will frequent Luke’s again!!!

Madison took such amazing care of us, she made my husband’s birthday so special and every recommendation she had was spot on with what we wanted with our food and drinks. She was timely, friendly, and such a pleasure to talk to. We will come back just for her (and that delicious pork chop omg).

Beautiful presentation and quality. Fantastic service. Run, don’t walk to Luke’s!!

WOW! I Today we had a “baby brunch” here- celebrating my sister and soon to be niece. Our server Sammy was TOP NOTCH! So attentive, caring and professional. Alongside her, Jonathan (the manager), was one of the best managers I’ve encountered. I have a hospitality background and I have never seen a manager so hands on (bussing tables, running food, touching tables) and truly helping his staff. Not only that, Jonathan sent over some appetizers and a mocktail , and a congratulations card, as a gift on the house- to add to our celebration. We felt SO welcome and honestly, I can’t wait to come back and tell everyone I know. THIS (and the amazing food) is what separates Luke’s from other restaurants. Thank you for the best brunch experience!

Holy crap, $19 for a Buffalo Trace neat. Doesn’t get much simpler to make. I hate feeling ripped off. That’s a ridiculous price.
-
The first thing I noticed was how clean everything was. Great service. Pass through kitchen to see your food prepared by flame.

Blew every expectation out of the water! Last Saturday, my partner and I wanted to treat some friends to a decent mean after having had helped us move into our new house. Also, with my birthday in a couple days we wanted to find a place for our small celebration. Little did we know we were about to have one of the best dining experiences any of us had in so many years. And we do not say this lightly. Between 3 of the 4 in our party we have a collective 50+ years in the hospitality industry. After having had been sat, we were greeted by our server Jen. She was attentive, humorous, honest, and informative. Between her and her team of runners and bussers, we wanted for not. Fresh plates and silverware with each turn. The team did not miss a beat. The cocktails we delicious; well crafted works of care, perfectly balanced, pushed out by an unseen(only because we were sat around the corner from the bar) bartender that was quite skilled. The food was exceptional. A mix of perfectly elevated classics, like a flatbread with home made chili crisps, and modern approaches to dishes, like the crab dip topped, panko fried avocado that provided a beautifully silky bite with the perfect layer of crunch. But the real star of this often overlooked gem that is Luke's was the people. The Manager on duty, Emily, made sure to stop by our table, make us feel welcomed and inquire what brought us to Luke's. She ensured, along with Jen and team, that we were made to feel like we were the only ones…

All of our food was amazing! Rigo was the best and gave us two desserts on the house!
-
One of our favorites but recently removed some menu item favorites which is unfortunate. Steak sandwich and burger are still goated and the best around!
-
Great menu, always great food. The bourbon selection is fantastic.
-
Our dinner was fantastic. The food was superb and the service was great. Highly recommend.
-
Our waiter , Alec was fantastic! I tried his suggestions and they were right on point. It was a first date for me and my partner and his service made it even more memorable...the food was great and the ambiance was lovely....
-
Luke’s was once our FAVORITE spot to go to. They lost a lot of the staff who we loved, which sucked about 6 months ago. But worse than that, found out they took the wings off the menu today. Walked in and walked right out. Unfortunately, we won’t be back until the wings are back on the menu. Poor choices by upper management …

Bianca is the best of the best, we will definitely come back because of her and the food. She was amazing and made us feel welcomed during our dinner.

Great new American style restaurant! Everything was well seasoned. The octopus was perfectly tender and the burger was exactly medium. The menu isn't super unique and a couple of dishes were a bit on the salty side, but portions were generous. Prices were a little high but not completely unreasonable. Service was attentive and prompt and the ambiance was relaxing. Parking easily found. Edit: Came back after 5 years and was very impressed by our entrees. The meat in every entree was very tender.

The staff and manager Jonathan are exceptional. Great food and hospitality. Always one of my favorites and still is!
-
I really love this restaurant. The food is delicious, and it’s a perfect place to go for a relaxed and enjoyable lunch.
-
