What diners say — our read

How guests are treated dominates the conversation here — it comes up in 48% of the 21 reviews. Reviewers who mention how guests are treated rate this place 4.7 on average — it is working in the restaurant’s favour.

Of the 21 rated reviews, 21 sit at four stars or better and 0 at two or below. Conspicuously absent: wait times, which no reviewer brings up. 5 stars is the modal score, given by 18 of the 21 reviewers who rated.

The health record runs ahead of the reviews. The last DBPR inspection returned an A (94/100) with 1 intermediate and 3 basic violations. That inspection was on May 19, 2026. The trend across inspections is decline. That puts it ahead of 54% of graded kitchens in Brevard County. Among the items recorded were cross-contamination and dishwashing facilities.

With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Read the originals below and judge the pattern yourself.

Best German food in central Florida and the best sunset in Brevard county! One of my all time favorite restaurants!

I absolutely love this restaurant! It is great for special occasions or date night. Food is wonderful! My favorite so far is the Jager schnitzel. Highly recommend trying if you haven't been here yet.

The biggest thank you to Cafe Coconut Cove for hosting our wedding yesterday on extremely short notice. While we had dinner planned at the restaurant, our wedding got rained out on the beach and they welcomed our family in to do our ceremony on their covered patio. They did an amazing job with our wedding dinner; the atmosphere was perfect, the food was superb, the service was outstanding and they truly made our wedding day a day we’ll always cherish. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! We’ll be back every year to celebrate.

Simply the best Restaurant on A1A and one of the best dining experiences I've had in Florida! Family owned and operated with staff that have been employed for decades.

First time here. Food was delicious, staff was friendly and right on the river with a nice view. We were at a big table and I felt a little cramped but still enjoyed my visit

Excellent meal tonight! We had the smoked fish spread as the appetizer and it was flavorful and well presented. I had the hanger steak seasoned with a coffee and cumin rub, tasty and cooked to perfection. My wife had the pork shank - fall off the bone tender and tasty. As a side note-we sailed here and came ashore by dinghy.

I just found out about this hidden gem yesterday. All I can say is I wanted a to go box for the crumbs. Service and staff were impeccable and on point. You can definitely tell they time it out right for being fresh made. If you want a 5 minute meal go to McDonald's. If you want quality food, cooked with love!! Come here!! Don't walk, run!!
