Reviews via GoogleWhat diners say — our read
The inspection says one thing about this kitchen, and a minority of reviewers say another. Service is the sore point: those reviews average 1.7. Tidiness is the next most common subject, in 42% of reviews (averaging 2.0).
If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 1, the most frequently given rating (15 reviews). Newer reviews score better than older ones (2.3 recent against 1.0 earlier), so direction is worth weighing alongside the average. Plate size shows up in 21% of reviews as well, averaging 2.0.
Against that, the kitchen inspects well — an A (100/100), nothing cited at the most recent DBPR visit. DBPR last walked in on May 5, 2026. Across its inspection history the kitchen is improving, which argues for giving it the benefit of the doubt. That puts it ahead of 100% of graded kitchens in Brevard County. The inspector left without citing anything — worth noting, since most visits find something.
If speed of service is what you care about, the reviews are the better guide here; if it is the kitchen, the grade is. Everything above is computed from the 19 reviews reproduced below.

This chipotle honestly gives the food chain restaurant a bad name. First visit me and my pregnant girlfriend found giant pieces of plastic in our food. The second vist we came at 9:30pm and refuse to make any more rice. The food safety is completely not there either. They don’t clean nothing and just stack the meat on top of each other not knowing what food has been left out longer than 4 hours. They take advantage because it’s later in the night and feed people scraps. IF YOU DONT WANT TO COOK MORE FOOD YOU SHOULD CLOSE AT 9pm

My son has recently been in a calorie deficit and lost a lot of weight using a food tracking app and going to the gym. Eating at this Chipotle has been a huge part of his success. He eats there multiple times a week. The portions and macros of their bowls are ideal for weight loss. Everyone is always nice to him. This is a great Chipotle!!

Consistently the most unsanitary Chipotle in all of Melbourne. When handling food, you should not be pulling up your pants, touching your face, and the counter should be clean, so you’re not dragging food across filth. The lady that manages this team doesn’t seem to train her people whatsoever.

Alysha is very accommodating and supremely knowledgeable about everything that is available for your enjoyment.

7:45 PM May 4, 2026. Entire staff should be fired and possibly canceled. Not only do they lack customer service, they lack basic human communication skills. They are beyond repair, too inconsiderate to be taught. They should start their own society where bringing a pet TARANTULA to work is acceptable.

Walked in with my daughter for dinner. We were “welcomed” by a very rude employee who was complaining about being understaffed and she clearly didn’t want to work.
-
This is a very nasty place. I wish I could rate it 0 stars. Walked in and was ignored by all employees. Restaurant was dirty, food looked dry like it was there for a long time not fresh. Then I saw an employee eating meat from the cutting board, where they cut their chicken. I just walked out… horrible place. Stay out…

Literally my home, I come here once a week on friday after school. The food amazing, my whole life evolves around chipotle. The restaurant is always clean, th employees super nice and dont rush you.

Avoid this place. The manager and the staff member making the bowls were incredibly rude. Even though they have a BOGO deal on social media, they use it as an excuse to give tiny portions. They refused to give a normal amount of rice and when I asked for cheese, the employee had to ask the manager—who then only let him put a tiny pinch on. Plus, they don't tell you the cilantro sauce is an extra charge. If you don't want to serve customers, don't run promotions.

Showed up over an and a half before closing and they refused to make any more steak. We left. What a waste of a location off the highway because they didn’t want to serve anyone

🌯 The Fiesta of Despair: A 1-Star Review Welcome to the least festive fiesta in town! Walking into this establishment is like arriving at a party where the piñata has already exploded, but instead of candy, the floor is just covered in trampled cilantro-lime rice and human sorrow. Let's break down this absolute "celebration" of a meal: • The Ambiance: The dining area is aggressively dirty. I’m pretty sure the sticky tables are now structurally supported by dried sour cream and abandoned dreams. • The "Art" of the Roll: Calling the food preparation "sloppy" is honestly an insult to slop. Watching them assemble a burrito is less about culinary skill and more like watching someone aggressively stuff a soaking wet sleeping bag into a sack that's three sizes too small. It’s a leaky, structural disaster just waiting to ruin your car seats. • The Culinary Experience: The food itself is tragic. The steak has the texture of a boot that just hiked the desert, and the salsa looks like it’s been through a war. • The Party Hosts: The employees here scoop black beans with the sheer, unbridled enthusiasm of a Victorian gravedigger on a double shift. They look utterly miserable, act perpetually grumpy, and dole out the shredded cheese like it’s coming directly out of their own inheritances. They always warn you that the guacamole is extra, but at this location, the crippling sense of regret is completely free. Do yourself a favor and eat anywhere else.

We ran in for a quick bite while on vacation and encountered an extremely dirty food line and a worker who didn’t want to be at work and definitely didn’t want to help customers. She yelled that they were out of steak. Ok, we wanted chicken. When we asked for chicken she said we only have this much left and scooped it out into my husbands bowl. She charged us for the full amount and when my husband asked her if he has to pay for a full amount of chicken she said no I discounted it. We looked at the receipt and she did not. He walked back over and asked her about it and the manager said, oh we have more in the back. Rudeness isn’t necessary. Chipotle needs to teach customer service skills and cleanliness. I would avoid this location! I included a picture of their trash area to give you a visual of how unclean they keep this restaurant.

Steak bowl was almost entirely cold rice, lettuce and cheese. The very few pieces of steak were absolutely inedible, cold, chewy pieces of fat which did not appear cooked. I rarely leave negative reviews anywhere, but the quality at this location has been declining over several months.
-
Horrible experience! I was cussed at for asking to see my bill and asking for the name of the cashier. I recommend that the company close this horrible location. I couldn’t and wouldn’t eat the small portion of food that they offered me and asked for my money back.
