What diners say — our read

Both measures on this page are strong, which is less common than it sounds. Where service comes up, the rating that follows averages 4.0, so it reads as a strength. Whether it is worth the money is the next most common subject, in 20% of reviews (averaging 3.7).

Of the 15 rated reviews, 13 sit at four stars or better and 1 at two or below. One subject never comes up here: how clean the place looks. If you had to pick one number to represent this corpus it would be 5, the most frequently given rating (12 reviews).

On the inspection side the picture is cleaner: DBPR graded this kitchen an A (92/100), with 1 high-priority violations. Whatever the reviews argue about, sanitation is not the weak point. DBPR last walked in on September 2, 2025. That puts it ahead of 49% of graded kitchens in Brevard County. The citations behind that grade include chemicals / toxic substances properly stored & used.

With both signals pointing the same way, there is little to argue about on this listing. Read the originals below and judge the pattern yourself.

Beautifully maintained grounds. The animals are the star. Helpful staff to answer questions about the different habitats. Demonstrations and informative encounters

Jaguar society is great. Come join us. Now's the time to become a founding member of the aquarium!

Awesome experience. Was invited to a event in the Lodge . Catered and access to the zoo any number of times. Hot day but there was lots of shade, an fans aplenty.

No where on the website tells you they don't have enough staff for zip lining. That was the whole reason we went. Very understaffed half of extras closed.

What a beautiful Zoo and experience. Plenty of animals, plenty of activities. The staff all through our are very courteous and well informed of their animal ambassadors. There is a splash pad on the hottest days to keep the littlest cool. Plenty of concessions to grab drinks or a bite to eat. Arrive early because parking can fill up quickly. Go see their giraffe exhibit.

Great experience, loved all the animals and was glad to see the Jaguars out.

Imagine paying full price for 1/3 of the attractions, the least they could’ve done was tell us that multiple sections were closed! Called back to see if I could get a rain check and was told manager would call back still nothing just go to Orlando zoo at least they will call you back!

One of our favorite zoos to visit every time we are in Florida!! The staff is great, friendly and love the kayak option you have during your visit!! Great price and a truly experience not to skip!!

Alot bigger than I thought it was going to be we spent 4 hrs here! Definitely need water!!! Well worth the price of admission, food and water inside is rather pricey. We loved all the different animals and we rode the train, we got a free picture with the train ride so that was a pleasant bonus but I still bought pictures at the end for the memories anyway. Gift shop is rather pricey as well but its supposed to go back to help the animals.

By far the best zoo I have ever been to. The staff and volunteers were insanely friendly and eager to help. They directed us to the best angles of pictures, helped us find and identify animals in the exhibit, and advocated for the species and told us the story of every animal we met. I cannot recommend doing the kayak tour enough, it was an amazing experience. The zoo may be small in size, but they had so many animals and a tangible impact on conservation.

We love the zoo sooo much. We buy a membership yearly. It's great for kids of all ages & adults. They also have homeschool programs & lots of events
